i have 2 incidents to share:
i was going to india this summer..but before that we stopped by guangzhou to meet my cousin bro and bhabhi. we were meant to stay there for half a day only, but our flight to india got cancelled and the next flight wasnt until monday. i was devastated because it was a friday and there are no indian channels in GZ..and i knew that i would miss all three episodes until i reached india on monday 😭 my mood was so upset that i didnt even feel like having dinner..so my cousin and bhabhi decided to take me out for dinner to cheer me up. we went to an indian restaurant..since it was the weekend, it was packed. there was a small tv attached to one corner of the ceiling for the customers to watch...and to my delight..ZOOM..YES..an indian channel..was on!!! i got so excited and asked the waiter if they had star plus 😆 he said hes not sure and will have to surf the channels..but he said he cant change it because on zoom, bollywood songs were going on and this was entertaining the customers. i litereally BEGGED him..pleaded..and gave him a lecture abt how this is a historical serial and im sure all the indians present in this restaurant love watching it to. he finally gave in and started changing the channels to find star plus..and in the process we passed by so many different channels..and this kept distracting the other customers who kept glaring at me 😆 finally we found star plus!!!! but the volume wasnt loud enough for me to hear..so i asked him to increase the volume..he did and the whole restaurant could hear it 😆 😆 when PRC was going people stopped eating and were watching the show 😆 i received annoyed glares from some people..but several THANKFUL smiles..and a veryyyyyyy deep sense of contentment 😃
another incident took place in Hong Kong. my mom, who was fed up of me talking abt rajat and prithvi the whole day challenged me that if i dont mention prithvi or rajat's name the whole day, she'll buy me the sexy Nine West handbag i wanted 😆 i agreed..cuz so what if i couldnt talk abt them..i could think abt them right? 😃 then my mom asked me if i wanted to go to the park with her and my younger bro..i agreed since i was bored and the weather was pleasant. in the park, i was sitting on a bench next to my mom..watching my younger bro play and imagining him as prithvi 😆 😆 he was running behind his friend when he slipped on a plastic bag and fell. i panicked and yelled out "PRITHVII!!!!!"..my younger bro stopped crying..confused..my mom stared at me..i was like..umm..sorry..i meant..RISHI!!!! my mom was like YOU ARE OBSESSED WITH THAT PRITHVI BOY! TUMHE APNE BHAI MAIN BHI PRITHVI DIKHAI DETA HAI 😆
