How we feel about the Sagars! - Page 4

i dont think there is any professionalism in this serial.. we see glimpses here and there and then again its back to the same beaten track. they have made me lose so much interest in this serial that i would not even see it if RT - MC played the swayamwar.. and i was probably their most loyal supporter. i no more like what RT is doing on the screen and they have converted PRC into a superhero.

do you know what research is - research is what was shown in chanakya... my friend pointed out that in the whole serial.. they didnt show people using saddles because saddles were not invented at that time so the actors had to get off and on without saddles. have you seen the funny hairstyles the actors in chanakya had -> that was derived from descriptions found in ancient texts... everything.. the clothes, the language everything was true to history (or atleast closest to what could be derived from it) ... did being so true to history make the viewers lose interest in Chanakya? it was probably one of the most popular historical serials...

mahabharat and ramayan were beautiful serials too and extremely viewer-capturing though i would not rate them as true-to-history/story as chanakya.

the next league of serials would be those like Tipu Sultan and serials like these that were good to start off with but did not manage to capture as much viewer attention as they did at the start..

now PRC....😕

i would never even think of putting PRC in any of these leagues. I was aware of the fact that PRC was not really well-researched even when i was hooked to the serial but it was the beautiful pairing of RT and MC that made me watch it.. but now even that wouldnt...

I understand what you are saying...but this serial occured 1 millenium after chanakya....since this whole serial is made in a modern production concept, the directors can use modern props, costumes, etc., whatever they want.....i do understand your intentions in what you are trying to say....but this is my opinion....

oh yes... it occured 1 millineum after chanakya .. but it did occur in the 12th century not in the 21st century... 😕

hence, i dont consider this serial a historical one at all... neither is it true to the story of the actual king and nor is it true to the time period it occured in (and i generally dont nit-pick.. i do understand its not possible to make a perfect historical serial) but this serial has crossed too many boundaries to be considered a historical serial on an Indian king.

it is just a fancy serial... based on history but with a contemporary twist.

it is a modern concept...modern techniques and everything used that sticks to the original story....this is totally allowed when the director makes a historical drama into a modern one....i learned that when i took drama classes...

I you hate them, then tell them about it...if they see that lots of people wont watch their show then they will have to yield into your demands to keep the old cast...

Kasam pyaar ki, has been played like 10 times per episode! just so time passes, and what happens nothing?

The scene when sanyogita stops prc from hitting her dad, She reaches to him *after her run*..like 15mins after, and all they do is..the fast music, the same flashing scenes, and after it had happen..prithvi thinks about it 4 the next 15mins..

episode ends..wah wah..what a episode..i just loved it 👏

Sagar have lost it, im perfering ekta serials better, at least they keep you hooked on..even the presenting of sagar's scenes, you call those flash backs?..all they are is, a bright ness efect going into a blur, or a sprial just turning around, which spins your head..

Another thing, they just don't want to listen to the audience. No scenes we want, only useless scenes, 10years of painstacking reaserch?? yeah i belive that. And they really knew that there was a little boy called suraj, and prthvi fought with a crocodile with him? dont think so..

how many petitions and email shd we send..............its like they are deaf towards their audience wants...............i hv been sending them emails, sbs and star chnl regularly almost 4-5 times a week and this is what u get...............its like to say your opinion and view does not count.......ur just a viewer ur opinin does not count.............well there this attitude is going to cost them and cost them dearly now.

You emailed sbs and star, did you email the sagars? So what if they dont respond to your email at all, your job as a fan is to email them, the rest is up to them....its a free country and a democracy you have every right to express your views to whom ever you want...it's up to them to listen or ignore your pleas....as long as you dont give up and try your best in your approach, you will suceed....just be very firm and persuasive and always maintain professionalism....your reader will always listen to you if you follow this form of rhetoric in trying to persuade them....so write on....
