When Rajat Tokas started the shooting for Dharti ka veer yodha Prithviraj Chauhan,he had no idea that one role would turn him into a role model of sorts for kids and many others.Not just because it was his first acting stint,but also because Rajat is just 14years old!As prithviraj Chauhan,he fighrs wars and wages battles but in real life,he's just another teenage who prattles on when given a chance."In the begining it was just mean to be just small role but later,when the character became so popular ,they increased the length of my role.I,ve done around 150 episodes by now," he says,with a hint of pride in his voice.
Currently studying in X,Rajat manages to study with the help of the notes from his friends.The arrangement worked fine,still last year,but how will he manage this year,considering he will be required to give his board ezams?"Oh,I'll manage",he says easily,and then adds,"I read my notes during the free time I get.And my parents help and encourage me a lot".Sometime ago,there had been a sort of controversy over Rajat's age as one interview quoted his age 13 and another said it was 16."Yes but i am 14",he says firmly and adds with a laugh,"But a lot of people assume I'm older.Some even think i'm 23!One Day,I got a call from some woman who asked me a very strange question.She asked me which club I go to.I didn't know what to say!"And as a result of his popularity,Rajat recevies loads of fan mail too,a lot of them proposals."Some girls says that they love me.But I'm just a Young Boy" he says shyly.Rajat's very happy with the role of Prithviraj."When I started shooting for it,I didn't know much about him.Now I realise what an important role he plyed in history," says Rajat.The young actor has another project up his sleeve,but is unwilling to divulge the details."Lets talk about it when it's finalised," he says.For a 14 years old,he sure knows how to talk like a veteran!
