Precap: Pratha and Samar Singh introduced. Prithvi realising that his sister has grown up and decided to get her married to Samar😊

Chapter 5

As Prithvi and Samar arrived in the palace gardens, prithvi stopped to admire the view. Aside from the bedroom he shared with his wife and daughter this was his favourite place in the palace because he found a piece of his wife everywhere he looked.
He could see her in the fountain that they had created to celebrate the birth of their angel, smell her in the fragrance of the roses she had lovingly planted and felt her touch everytime he sat on the swing he had designed for her on their wedding aniversary.
Samar turned to speak to Prithvi but saw from the smile on his face and the faraway look in his eyes that his friends was once again lost in thoughts of his wife. Samar wondered if he had the same smile and look in his eyes when he thought about Pratha, as his thoughts once again returned to her Samar decided to let Prithvi enjoy his moments so that he could find the one responsible for his own joy.
Turning to speak to his friend Prithvi realised that he had been abandoned, and wondered if he had offended Samar with his lack of attention, and then laughed as he realised that maybe his friend understood more than he thought and had decided to find the woman responsible for his own day dreaming rather than waiting for Prithvi. Taking a last look up at his bedroom window Prithvi went off to find his daughter.
'Nan-da-ni' 'Nan-da-ni' Pratha watched proudly as her lovely little neice wearing a blindfold raced around the garden fearlossly secure in the knowledge that those around her would never let anything bad happen to her.
'Pukaleya Taathaa' Nandani cried in happiness as Sunjum stopped long enough to be caught by her. Pratha watched on as Nandani ran to her other chaacha's pulling Sunjum along with her.
Stopping at the fountain to get some water for her neice, Pratha admired the angel design etched around the side of the fountain and knew it represented her Brother and his family, but what made her even happier was that her brother and sister in law had added an angel for each member of the family even those who had been and were still against their relationship. Taking the water Pratha turned around and automatically dropped the water.
'BHAIYA' Pratha shouted as she ran over to her brothers who was throwing Nandani up into the air and taking it in turns to catch her again in their arms.
'Kiya Hai Pratha Behna, Chand asked innocently as Pratha lifted Nandani on to her hip.
'Kiya Hai, Humko pooch rahe hai, Bhabi ko baatha?' Pratha replied finding it hard to stay cross, when he lifted his hands to hold both his ears.
'Nandani, ne humko ' Chand started to say but was interupted bu Pratha
'Aacha tho ab Nandani thuj par raj karthi hai' Pratha replied
'Nay' Chand started again but was once again interputted
'Ha, sub ko malum hai ke is mehel mein prithviraj chauhan ki raj Nandani Chauhan sey booth cum hai' Samar answered as he joined the group and handed Pratha some water for Nandani.
She was going to be a great mother Samar thought as he watched Pratha lay Nandani down in her arms to help her drink the water while absently brushing her hair.
'Such kaha tum ney' Bhaiya nei such much issie ko laadli bana diya' Pratha answered as she kissed her neice and set her down on the grass.
'Aacha, tho aap laadli nahi ti' Samar asked
'Ti or ab be hai' Pratha answered honestly and then blushed when she realised what she had said.
Before he could answer Samar's attention was caught by the little girl hugging his knees
'Thaatha' she cried pulling on his legs.
Bending down so he was eye to eye with her Samar said
'Thaatha nahi, Ch-aacha Kaho'
'Thaatha nahi, Th-aatha kaho' nandani repeated sweetly making the group laugh
Samar tried again 'Cha-Cha' again Nandani repeated it back to him ' Tha-tha'.
Looking at the smile on her face Samar said with a laugh ' Aacha Baba, aaj se hum Thaatha ban gaye' as he picked her up and carried her over to the baby swing.
Reaching the group Prithvi watched in happiness as his friends and family took it in turns pushing his princess on the swing that they had all built together specially for her when she had nearly fallen off the swing he had presented to her mother. It was at moments like this that Prithvi was thankful for the things he had in life and knew that inspite of all the bad thing he wouldn't change anything about his life because he knew that both the joys and sorrows in his life had helped make him into the man he was today.
Seeing her father Nandani lifted her arms up to Chand who helped her down and they watched as he ran over to Prithvi who lifted her up onto his shoulders. Once she had grown bored of playing with her fathers hair while he talked with his friends she leaned forward to put her little hands under Prithvi's chin so she look in his eyes and then spoke.
'Papa Gori' she asked him wearing a mini replica of his Sanyo's smile and which Prithvi knew meant that he would give her anything she wanted.
So without worrying or caring where he was or who might be watching Delhi's Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan made sure his daughter was holding on tight and then got down on all fours and started crawling across the grass, the only important thing for him was the sound of his daughters laughter as she urged him to go faster.
'Maharaj' Prithvi looked up from the pair of feet infront of him and saw one of his soliders standing there.
'Kya baath hai' Prithvi asked even as he started to stand making sure his daughter was secure around his neck.
'Maharaj Jaichand nai sandesh beaga'
As soon as he heard his name Prithvi felt his muscles tighten and his heart rate increase, the joy that he had felt moments ago evaporated.
Lifting his daughter down from his shoulders, Prithvi held her in his arms needing to have that physical contact with her to assure himself she was okay,
'Tum Jo.' Prithvi said to the solider and then realising he had taken his frustration out on the solider made an effort to even his voice and continued on ' Hum a rahe hai'
Waiting until the solider had left Prithvi looked at his daughter and felt his heart catch when she smiled and then leaned forward and kissed him on the forehead the same way that he had been doing to her since the day she had been placed into his arms. Tightening his arms around her Prithvi held her close and sent up a silent pray to heaven that she should always be this happy and innocent.
'Nandani' Challo app Sunjum gori hai, aacha; Prithvi told her
'Aacha, papa' his daughter answered as Sunjum stepped forward to take her into his arms.
'Meri Pyari Nandani' Prithvi said playfully pinching her cheek to see her smile again.
As he turned to leave he shared a look with Sunjum and knew that his friend had understood when he nodded and said ' Sub Kuch Teek Tak ho ga', feeling reassured Prithvi turned to follow the solider.
Feeling uneasy and unable to leave without a final look to make sure that she was okay Prithvi turned around again and saw that everything was how it should have been Nandani was happily sitting on Sunjum's back directing him,Samar and Pratha were on the swing together, and Chand, Arjun and Pundir were all practising, feeling reassured Prithvi turned to head back inside the Mehel, but as he reached the entrance to the Palace he heard shouting and turned just in time to see the arrow hit Sunjum.

Guys thats it. I hope you enjoy the update

'Tum Jo.' Prithvi said to the solider and then realising he had taken his frustration out on the solider made an effort to even his voice and continued on ' Hum a rahe hai'

Hi eveyone i have done a new update, i have to admit this was harder to write than the previous episodes as i wanted to write it to try and convey all the feelings. I hope i have done that but only you all can be the judge of that😉so i hope you all enjoy the update and any comments will be welcome😊

Precap: Some nice Pratha and Samar moments, Nandani and Prithvi and Nandani with her Thaaths. Sanjam injured.

Chapter 6

As he watched the arrow pierce his friend in the side the blood rushed out of his body making him light headed, he heard the sound of his heart beat 'thump' thumping like a football being bounced and his legs had turned to jelly but Prithvi ignored all of this and willed his body to move.
It was for him like watching his worse nightmare come true in front of his eyes, but unlike a nightmare he couldn't snap wake up and make it all disappear. For him more frightening than seeing the the arrow sticking out of his friends body was having to watch hopelessly as his young daughter slipped off his friends back and landed on the grass her tiny body making a barely audible thump.
The sound of his daughters scream, full of fear and pain, as she hit the ground was sickening and would haunt Prithvi's dreams for years to come, but more than that was the airy silence that followed it, the first time ever in 3 and 1/2 years that the mehel had ever been silent.
Sanyogita sat up straight in bed unsure what had awakened her as she tried to steady her racing rate. Feeling uneasy she decided to check on her heart and soul and knew they would be waiting for her in her garden. Smiling as she moved over to the window she was just in time to see her heart break, as her daughter landed on the ground. 'NANDANI' she cried in a voice full of pain as she ran out of the door and through the palace, without even being aware that she was in her sleeping suit and shoeless, her only thought to get to her child.
As he pushed pass his army, friends and sister to reach his friend and daughter he didn't notice anything, not his sisters tears or his friends worry, his every thought centred on his daughter and his eyes glued to her shockingly still body. Approaching her the way that one does with a wounded animal, Prithvi bent down and got his first look at his daughter.
Lying on her side, one arm underneath her and the other thrown out she looked like a broken doll. His mouth went dry, the copperly taste in his mouth made him want to throw up, but he bottled his feelings in and drew closer to his daughters side and brushed her hair away from her face but then he did throw up when he saw the blood in her mouth and on her lips, the same mouth and lips which until today had only known sweetness.
Samar held Pratha's trembling body in his arms trying to be strong despite his shock, unable to belive that just a short moment ago their nandani had been happily running around playing and who was know lying shockingly still.
Pratha turned herself into Samar's arms unable to bear looking at the still form of her neice any longer, her mind refusing to belive that the girl who had just been playing in her lap and who was never still for more than 2 seconds, hadn't moved in 2 minutes. But when she saw her brother throw up she knew she couldn't be stron any longer. 'Samar' she said as she turned towards him.
As he watched his friend be sick Samar tightened his arms around Pratha, confused between staying and conforting his love or helping his friend. However the decision was made for him when Pratha said his name. Looking down at her he saw the tears start and watched as she broke and started crying, tighening his arms around her he sent up a prayer to support them all.
Sanjam didn't feel any pain when his friend pulled out the arrow tip which had struck him but when he realised what it had led to and what had happended to their Nandani he felt sick, and when he saw the blood on her mouth he wished that the arrow had pierced his heart so that he wouldn't have to bear the fear and pain.
Chand finished pulling the arrow from Sanjums side and had to stop him self from looking at Nandani for fear that his hands would start to shake. When he was finished he decided to go over to Prithvi who was sitting in a trance like state by his daughters head.
'Prithvi' Chand whispered softly but recieved no response and didn't know if Prithvi had even heard him. Knowing that they had to get Nandani inside the palace so that the vaaid Arjun and Pundir had gone to fetch, could treat her he bent to pick her up.
'HAATH MATH LAGAANA MERI NANDANI KO!' Prithvi spoke sharply his eyes usually so soft know as hard and coal as coal.
'Leken Prithvi, Hum ko vaaid key pass Nandani ko karna hai' Chand tried to explain but Prithvi wasn't listening having gone back to stroking his daughters hair while wiping the blood from her lips with his top. Worried about his friend and his neice he wondered how to get her inside, but was saved the trouble.
'NANDANI!!!' Sanyogita cried as she came running into the garden, her hair flying in disarray behind her, he naked feet moving silently across the grass as she raced towards her daughter.
Hearing his wife's voice Prithvi was baught back to reality and realised that he had to stop his wife from seeing their daughter like this.
'Rok lo us ko Chand' Prithvi shouted as he moved to hide their daughter from Sanyogitas eyes.
So intent on reaching her daughter she ran straight into him, but when she tried to move pass him Chand held onto her.
'Choor do Chand, humari beti ko hamari zarorrath hai' she cried desperatley trying to break free of his hold
'Maf kar dena Bhabi, leken hum aisa nahi kar saktha' he told her apologetically when she looked at him in shock
'Choor do humko, Yeah Delhi ki Maharani ka adesh hai' Sanyogita told him angrily again trying to twist away from him.
'Leken, Delhi ka Maharaj ka aadesh hai thum ko rokna' Chand asnwered her and felt her pain
'KYA' she cried in shock and then turning towards her husband she shouted 'PRITHVI HUM KO APANI BETI CHIYE, P-R-I-T-H-V-I' as she sank down onto the grass.
Forcing himself to block out her voice and pain Prithvi kissed his daughter and carefully, taking care with her arms picked her up to carry her inside the mehel.
Sanyogita saw Prithvi carrying Nandani in his arms and was shocked at how still she was, this wasn't their daughter the daughter who had since she came into the world never managed to stay still for longer than a minute. The moment she allowed herself to think of why their precious daughter was so still her control broke and she gave in to the darkness that had entred her mind.
Watching his wife as she was caught by Chand Prithvi faught to hold onto his control. He was torn between his wife and daughter, wanting to help them both but he knew that nothing would happen to Sanyogita and that as long as Nandani was okay so was Sanyogita just as he knew that if they lost their Nandani they would lose the joy in their life.
Stopping only long enough to look over his shoulder to make sure that Chand was following him Prithvi hurried back into the Palace, unaware of those that followed him.
As Pratha, Samar and Sajam followed Prithvi and Chand into the palace Pratha looked up to the heavens and asked her father for help 'Pita Je, Humari Nandani ka Raksha Karna'.

Thats it for this update i hope you like it, please do leave any comments or critisms😊
