Prithvi Vallabh (Sony TV) actor Ashish Sharma made headlines recently when he denied to do a kissing scene with co-actress Sonarika Bhadoria on the show. Inspite of that, the cheat liplock conceived by the makers, created a lot of buzz around.

While talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, Ashish finally opened up about the controversial kiss (that wasn't), "The kiss wasn't necessary as such as far as I know. Though there was talk about a kissing scene since sometime, I wasn't convinced that it will add anything to the story, or take it forward in anyway. I am happy that even without us actually going ahead with the kiss, they got what they wanted.

When asked if he is comfortable going bold on-screen, he confessed, "I have no problem doing bold scenes. And whatever the scripts demands. I have to fulfil the demands of the show, as an actor. But the intimate scene has to be part of the story. Unnecessarily doing it just for the audience, is not what I am looking for.

Ashish is all set to release his own film on a controversial subject with his wife Archana Taide Sharma in the production seat. Ashish has written, co-produced, and acted in the film.

Titled Khejdi, the film is based on an LGBT theme and has been screened at the LGBTQ film festival yesterday. It traces the life of a cross-gender person, desperately seeking to be a part of the society.

Film which is releasing on 24th May 2018 also has Kunal Kapoor, Mona Ambegaonkar, Jayati Bhatia and Sid Makkar as part of the film.
