See the main problem for Prithvi is that though his father told him end the enemity between uttar and dakshin, he had not exactly told him why that enemity happened in first place. And that is where Prithvi will falter because only if you know how wound was caused, you can heal it.
Aditi once again I am back to Beyhadh, none tried to understand the source of Maya's wounds so that it could be healed.

Same is Mrinal's case. None understands the girl who saw massacre in front of her eyes. Yes she has her fault lines, but someone has to reach that source, that girl who saw massacre, cold blooded massacre. Only then she can be healed. Marriage, motherhood nothing can work properly for her if her wound is not healed.

Yaa yes there is some continuity issues, logical errors as of now I have not found anything grave.

Exactly Singdhant is being stupid here. he is putting his son & the entire kingdom at risk. because without proper knowledge prithvi is going to falter . Also i feel somewhere he is putting too much of burden on prithvi. end enemity, save malwa, save his family from breaking ie younger brother. And on top of it not even arming him with the entire truth.

yes he had put a burden on Prithvi's shoulders. To solve the problem he had created without letting him know the entire truth.

Wonderfully analysed and written! I enjoy the little nuggets of wisdom in your takes. And I share your opinions on the characters and their actions, particularly Mrinal. I really like the characterisation and portrayal <3
Hmmm...so far, I don't have any issue with any of the characters, apart from Kosha🥱. Something about the character annoys me terribly. She might have some important role to play in the future, but I seriously don't understand the need to give her so many scenes 😕 It spoils the tone of the episode for me :/

@Renjana welcome to the club. First feeling that something is not right with Kosha is the annoyance/irritation you feel when you see that character. You cant pin point the reason. Same thing me and Aditi were telling comparing her to a character Saanjh from Beyhadh😆😆

There's a whole club eh 😉😆 Seriously...I think the biggest rahasya of the show is why the writers think viewers are eager to watch that irritating lady gobble up half of the episode. I don't know if the writing or the depiction is to be blamed, but nothing about her dukhs and dreams rouses the slightest sympathy in me.

Beyhadh...I had followed that show for some time but not long noughh to feel invested in the characters or story. Even so, I have to admit I was a little put off by the character you mentioned and the hero as well😆

Mrinal prays to Varaha moorty who is Narayan that let him show the way for her to complete her revenge. Let her not falter from her motive. She doesnt understand the path Lord Narayan shows is always of love, the dream Mrinal had was the path to her revenge, but in such a way she as well as everyone gets eternal peace. She is trying to run away from the fact that she has fallen for Prithvi. She knows why the sword didnt hit them, she knew his feelings for her, and she also knew her feelings for him. She burns and removes but can she remove what he has written in her heart. Unfortunately no. Her dream shows to what extend Prithvi has affected her. But just like the garland of jasmine she broke, she once again goes away from her dream, the dream of meeting of hearts to make it dream of meeting of swords and shedding blood. Because she wants to go in that path only. Because for her war is the path, not love.

I always say if you dont listen to Narayan the right way, he has his own way of making you understand the folly of your decisions. Enters Bhoj, the young prince of Malwa. I would say one of the most symbolic entry of the show. Do you know what is special about his entry.Let me tell. The story starts with a vision Mrinal saw, a vision of brutality that she witnessed as a child, then it shifts to Prithvi's search for eyes and he reading the pain in Mrinal's eyes, but unable to understand the manifestation of that pain. It's Mrinal's vision, and Prithvi's feelings both are related to eyes. Ones the eyes have seen, the other that is read in eyes. Now what connects feelings and vision. What gives you the clue how the feelings will manifest, or how will you follow your feelings. By listening. Voice. Ability to differentiate the voices, tone of the voices, alter meaning of the voices. Can you do that. Thoughts and action is connected by words. Dialogues, the feelings of dialogues. The correlation lies there. Ability to listen, ability to decipher. Look how they showed Bhoj. A boy reaching his destination with eyes tied, all he has is his ability to listen, his ability to differentiate. It's with his listening and discenrining abiliy to differentiate the sounds he saves his guru.

And he is the connecting link that can write the poetry in the sword in true sense. One who has the blood of Sindhu, but thoughts of Prithvi who wants to give equal importance to sword and art. Who is a poet himself, and trying to be a painter. He can bring vision, with words he can touch your heart and with his actions he can win any war. Bhoj is that weapon of Malwa which Mrinal can never imagine.

Because in all probability he is going to walk right into the heart of Vilas who can think he is the author of that beautiful poetry on the sword. We are yet to see Satyashrey but in a kingdom that has banned art, will Satyashrey have the power to woo Vilas the way Bhoj has. Mrinal has chosen Vilas for Satyashrey, but who will Vilas chose and if Vilas choice is not inline with what Mrinal wants what will she do. Vilas adores Mrinal and if Mrinal allows Vilas wish how will that affect Manyakhet and its kingdom. But the story is there. With Vilas, with Bhoj and of course Satyashrey. Vilas is going to rebel the unilateral decision of Mrinal. We need to see where Lakshmi will stand. With Satyashrey or with her daughter. In all probability mother in Lakshmi will want Bhoj only as his mother Savithri is a virtuos woman who is responsible. Savithri has that smile on her face which shows she can handle things. She is not easily cowed down by Sindhu's antics. She is a woman whom the royal household had trusted with their son, unlike Jakkala who doesnt have a voice over Mrinal and her revenge.

I had told Mrinal will get love in her language. And it will come to her through Bhoj. She is fighting for revenge. I hope the fight doesnt move out for love as to who will marry Vilas

When I was analyzing Beyhadh I had always told I write what I feel. Mostly I correlate what I feel with respect to the dialogues spoken, because dialogues are what connects your thoughts. If Action is inline with the dialogue it is straight forward person, if not then the motive is ulterior, action is just show off. Because action is what you see, but it doesnt represent your thoughts. And that was why Beyhadh was such a complicated analysis as it was about Maya the illusion so you really had to concentrate hard on dialogues and not go by vision as such. Whereas PV is much easier.

But it is also one show where I had watched some episodes in retrospective to appreciate the beauty of the script with respect to the concept of Maya.

Absolute beautiful and touching analysis. I too was thinking about Mrinal praying to Lord Varaha. He is the one who fought Hiranyaksha and delved into the primordial waters to rescue the earth - Prithvi. And Bhumi Devi married him. And now Mrinal is seeking His blessings to be strong enough to destroy Malwa and its king - Prithvi Vallabh...the beloved of the earth :) Yes, I have surplus amounts of imagination 😆

Your take on Bhoj's entry is just fantastic and so well put 👏. I hadn't thought of it in that way at all. Your understanding of symbolism is simply amazing 👏

And as a devotee of Lord Narayana, I especially loved these lines:

She doesnt understand the path Lord Narayan shows is always of love...❤️

I always say if you dont listen to Narayan the right way, he has his own way of making you understand the folly of your decisions. This line made me chuckle, because I've experienced it innumerable times until now 😆😆
