Prithvi's aim doesnt falter. If I have define the episode in one line it is that. While Mrinal's aim falter. Reason Mrinal thinks with brain, she plans but she doesnt understand the others need not move according to that plan. While Prithvi's path is that of the heart. He doesnt plan. He just acts in the present.

Now look at the temporary results of both Prithvi's and Mrinal's action from last week. Yes Mrinal has got a temporary victory and Prithvi seems to have lost. But is that so. Mrinal gave Jakala the power to take decision and of course Jakala took it. But then it is not what Mrinal expected. She tells Jakala for Kosha why she has punished other woman, forgetting it was between her and Singhadutt for which she had injured many. She is going rehabilate the brothel women which is not going to go with Jakala. As she will feel her authority infringed. Her giving authority to Jakala has weakened Tailap also. A king going to fight a war is emotionally disturbed as he sees the fire and can such a king win the war. Answer is no. This where planning go for a toss, this is where playing the game of chess goes for a toss. Because it is always about other. You make a move thinking other person will move like this. It doesnt happen always.

Now look at Prithvi. I loved the way he fought those men. It was not dhisoom dhisoom one man army, but a strategic fighting that included the retreat. He picked those men one by one and finally wins them over. Enemies become friend and asks him to come and be their guest. He is happy in the jungle. He frees the birds and remebers his connect to the jungle, its paths. He is connected to the Prakriti. he doesnt want the trappings of Sanskriti, he doesnt want the power. But power comes searching for him. Remember my analysis of SKR where Sita comes from behind when Ram stands on hill top. I had told for a worthy man Purusharth will come searching for him. Sita had represented knowledge, wealth and power for Ram and she was coming for him, hearing about him. Same is what happens for Prithvi. Amrusha wants him, he denies her as I had said earlier also he was lost in the eyes and when he opened the eyes some questions stared at him and he is in search of those answers.

And his sword which he had sent for the woman with the eyes that mesmirzed him, in that woman's eyes his image is frozen. Mrinal is unable to forget Prithvi and Vilas plays the perfect cupid unknowingly. The young girl deciphers the poetry in the sword which says " I will be waiting for you". Yes he is going to show love to her in her language. The language of the sword. And believe me I loved it. It's true Prithvi's aim doesnt falter, because he is not playing chess, he is playing the carrom in which it is about you and what target you want when you get the striker.

Even Sindhu is in trouble. After all planning the guruji could see Sindhu had angered the king.He doesnt have a solid plan and when Tailap is coming obviously Sindhu will be tested. Singhadutt has fallen and that increases the pressure on Sindhu. Can he deliver. His mother believes he can. But is it true.

Most important for who does Jakala burned the brothels she had escaped. Kosha have escaped and she is another woman who follows the path of heart.

Yes Mrinal told Jhakkala to deal with Kosha the way she wanted to but Mrinal was not expecting Jhakkala to take such a drastic step..Mrinal clearly faltered here

I had pointed out the same in another thread how ironical the scene between Mrinal and Jhakkala was...Mrinal told her that one Kosha shouldn't have led to the destruction of so many innocents but Mrinal herself did the same thing..for one Singhdant she killed many innocents.

Jhakkala failed in her mission coz Kosha escaped through the tunnel..j wonder where does that tunnel lead to..Will Kosha reach Malwa thoguh the tunnel..let's see

Now Tailap saw the burning brothel and now he is immersed in Kosha's thoughts..he is disturbed and not in a right state of mind of fight a battle...Mrinal would have never anticipated it

I thing I am wondering is Mrinal often accompanies Tailap in the war but this time she did not accompany him although Malwa is her biggest enemy...Is she planning to join him later...I want to know why she did not accompany him..this time Tailap is not in a right state of mind which is not a good sign for him and Manyakhet

Coming to Prithvi

Liked the strategic fight...but again I am wondering why he did not question the attackers about who sent them..I wonder if PV is aware that Sindhu and amahakai sent the attackers

Now he is on a journey to find about his origin..let's see what he will find

Sindhu again I don't think is ready for the battle..he can't alone win it !

I more interesting thing...Guru Aditya asks Mrinal a vachan..let's see what will he ask when the time will come

As many of us had assumed a poetry was written on the sword ! A poem about love !

Mrinal kept staring at the sword...is it because she had already understood what was written on it and that deep down had an impact on her...the poem was beautiful

PV had written it ...I think it was not meant specifically for Mrinal but for those eyes whom he kept searching for

One thing I liked was that Mrinal told Jhakkal that those who died were 'women' when Jhakkala said that it doesn't matter much as they were mere 'prostitutes'...Mrinal was right we can't judge people by their profession..at the end of the day what matters is that we all are human beings !

That point I liked

The way prithvi fought the attackers was really good as it was some with strategy and thinking instead of blindly fighting.

I too think that the poem on the sword was pre written for the eyes of the statue he was dreaming about and not specifically for mrinal.

Mrinal is unknowingly pushing everyone away from herself due to her actions. Tailap will start to go against her due to the kosha-jakkala mess. Maybe not completely go against her, but definitely have an ill feeling towards her because of it, even jakkala, instigated by vilas's mother thinks that mrinal is too controlling and does not give her enough power or authority. The feelings are building up now and will definitely turn against her in the future when she falls in love with prithvi.

Also I was wondering why mrinal did not go to war along with tailap as she usually does, and especially this time it was her lifelong goal to defeat malwa.

@aditi what I love about the show most is, it is poetic in his representation of the story, visuals hold you and they focus a lot on eyes. The pain in Mrinal's eyes and the smile in Prithvi's eyes, it's a beauty to see.

We all love freewill, our Prakriti. But life cannot go on just with Prakriti. We need change and order in balance for life to thrive. Sustenance of life as we call it. You are right, for any change to come power is necessary. I guess I had told this earlier also people shy away from wealth and power not realizing these can be used the right way for bringing positive change. And in a society you need both these in material form as well as emotional form which includes your family, friends and their trust. Sometimes you cant run away from responsibility.

I bless you let your emotions be in someone's hand.Jakala's this words define the episode for me. Mrinal wants to throw away the sword, she wants to burn the picture of Prithvi Vallabh but still unable to find peace when his name is mentioned.Whether she wants to admit or not this man had captured her imagination, he has affected her emotions.

I loved the way Vilas mother Lakshmi played with Jakala emotions without revealing her real motive. Believe me I simply love such ladies. Their feminine way of collecting information, a task which even after trying multiple times I have been unable to master.I wont fault her. With a father who goes to brothel, a mother who is a drunkard, and a bua who is thirsty for revenge and does absolute control in the kingdom it is natural for the mother in her to see what kind of a boy Satyashrey has turned out to be. After all it is her daughter's life. Though she tells Vilas she wanted to see whether Satyashrey has gotten the good qualities in his family, her real motive is to see whether the boy is drunkard, he is a war monger or a man who runs behind ladies leaving his wife. Because a mother wants a husband for her daughter first, and she wants to see whether he is husband material.

I feel somehwere Sulochana has understood what Mrinal feels and I also feel she has developed a respect for Prithvi. That's why she protects Vilas at the same time doesnt throw away the sword. Vilas is the medium through which Prithvi will reach Mrinal. Yes she can throw away the flowers, but then those flowers will come back to her and she will have to go to him. I am not sure whether she knows Vilas has taken the sword because she asked Sulochana to burn the picture in front of her eyes. Then she told Sulochana she have forgiven Vilas and asked her to ensure Vilas doesnt repeat the mistake.

Guru Aditya talks about family for a woman and Mrinal says her brother and his family is her family, whu she needs another man for a family. It's a very valid question. Why woman needs a family. Cant she be alone. Yes she can, but she needs to understand for life to sustain on this planet she needs to have a family because nature had bestowed her the gift to bring a new life on this planet, a man cannot do that alone. She is the Maya, she is the Shakthi that holds together this universe in beautiful relations, she is the one that makes this universe move.If she turns her face from life, how will life move forward in this planet. Yes feminine nurtures, for the sustenance of life a woman has to allow herself to be in a bandhan, a bandhan of love. It has to be her choice and a man has to make her feel that way. It is not like forcing marriage and motherhood on woman and men behave rudely with her and treat her like a doormat and expect her to be a child bearing machine. This is the reason today there is extreme feminism and women not wanting to marry and prefer to stay single.

Now coming to Prithvi. He has reached the place where he was found by that Matashri as a child. She wants to send him back. She wants him to take power.But he is unwilling to go till she tells him the goal. I loved his line I know the path, but I dont know the goal. It meant he knows whatever he wants to achieve he will achieve it inline with nature, with art, with culture but what is his ultimate aim. What should he be striving to achieve. For that his past is necessary. And hopefully next week we will get some peak into that.
