The manifestation of Mrinal's wounds that was what this episode was for me. Mrinal saw her family being killed and in that anger she gave the same wound to Malwa. The wound of the child Mrinal many families felt. Father of a bride to be girl, wife of a soldier and Prithvi is lost as he felt the wounds but didnt see how they could manifest. But can hurting others, bringing pain to other families heal Mrinal's wounds. Answer is no.Because somewhere among those families she will give rise to another Mrinal who wants to avenge her and in the process will inflict more wounds. I had always maintained there are only two paths you burn and burn others, you burn and become a lamp.The first destroys life and second sustains life. As a person I had always followed people, respected people, who had followed the second path, where their actions spoke and not the dialogues.
Look at Prithvi. yes he is hurt. Because of his mistake his father was attacked, Malwa suffered still his sword doesnt cut the boat, but hits the hull only. Because as Mrinal's soul keeper tells Prithvi Vallabh's aim doesnt falter, he had sent them alive. Now when he is accepting the whole blame of what happened in Malwa, when he is allowing hismelf to be send away from Malwa the place he love so much he is allowing the wounds to heal. The reason he is taking the punishment of a mistake not a crime. Yes he did a mistake of not recognizing Mrinal, second not understanding her motive, but he didnt do it intentionally. He wants to preserve art, culture of Malwa and he doesnt want that to be banished because of one incident. If him taking the punishment can avoid it, then he was willing to take that. And I loved what he told his father. In the sabha treat him as senanayak and not son, take the decision as a king and not a father. Lest not someone question you. yes during SKR times itself I had told, in the name of dharma adharma has to happen using the rules of the land, forcing the people to think are these rules, customs worth protecting. it was the same thing Ram did with Sita. He banished her as a king based on the rules of the land, but didnt give her place in his heart to anyone as a husband.
Sindhu is thinking Prithvi will fight. But Prithvi had decided to lose the battle and Sindhu is going to get a hostile kingdom for sure as people love Prithvi, his ways. He will get the throne, but not the power in real sense.
Now coming to Mrinal. The fact when the boat reached Manyakhet Mrinal remembers Prithvi and his words if wounds are shared it will heal shows she is affected by him. She is affected by the magnamity of his actions and as days go by it is going to increase only. Most important Singdhatt wanted to tell her something which she refused to listen and it shows me what happened years ago has more than what meets the eye. Singhadutt has not shared that with Prithvi too, so it means it is a very deep secret. But that secret is going to cost many more lives.
Now why Tailap love Kosha. Kosha is ready to die for him. Kosha loves him in a way a man wants to be loved. She has completely surrendered to him and she wants to be the queen of his heart. And if you look when the news came Mrinal has come back Kosha is also happy and doesnt grumble when Tailap has to go. Somehwere the girl in that brothel knows what love is, but then she wont be acceptable in an open society. Just like Prithvi's status of the adopted child makes him unworthy of a king in eyes of some.
Another important dialogue was that kings had to conquer the kingdoms to expand the kingdoms and Prithvi tells you have to conquer the hearts and art is the only medium for that. Isnt it true. Your culture spreads through your stories, your dress, your cuisine not through the invasion. You cannot keep a culture for long through invasion but obviously the cusine, the stories will seep in. Just like our Ramayana and MB which these days are inspiring the foreign nationals also to visit the great country. India has not conquered any place, we have not invaded anyone though we have been invaded multiple times, but irrespective of people trying to destroy the land of Sanathana Dharma, it has found ways to flourish, to spread to the extend even the western scientific community respects the principles of vedanta and our stories are inspuiring a new generation of foreigners to visit and understand this great land.
I have not watched 4-Feb episode. Will analyze it as soon as I watch it.
