The novel depicts a number of friendly and unfriendly Aiyyar.

Aiyyars on the side of Virendrasingh include:

  • Tej Singh
  • Jeet Singh (Tej Singh's father)
  • Devi Singh;

Aiyyars on the side of Chandrakanta:

  • Chapla
  • Champa

Aiyyars on the side of Krur singh:

  • Nazim
  • Ahmed

Aiyyars on the side of Shivdutt (all except last two later joined the Virendra Singh's side):

  • Pandit Badrinath
  • Chunnilal
  • Pandit Jagannath
  • Pannalal
  • Ramnarayan
  • Ghasita Singh
  • Bhagwan Dutt

Agar ye sab characters to acchha rahega. Season 2 acchhe se katega.

Badri and Jagannath are okay but leave out the rest!!!!

Jeet Singh can do a cameo!!!!

Devi Singh or Devgiri is needed as Champa needs a hero!!!!😉

Interesting discussion going on here😆Couldn't help but add my two cents.

Now coming to SidT of Swastik PH,when has he ever shown abusive MLs??Ulta the MLs of his shows are too good.
In Razia Sultan, people remember how Altunia misbehaved with Razia in the final episodes. But I am surprised that no one mentioned how well behaved, polite, respectful and sweet he was for most of the series. He was a jolly cheerful guy who supported Razia at every step.Swastik totally whitewashed his character.
The real Altunia was no sweetheart but a Turkish warlord who was ambitious and ruthless. He was Razia's childhood friend who later rebelled against her and went on to become her husband. He was a grey character in real life
Swastik altered his character completely and made him and out and out positive person.Only when the show had the axe hanging over their heads that they showed him as a grey character only for one episode.Since they had already distorted the actual history and turned RS into a fairytale love story.

Then comes another Swastik show Begusarai.Begusarai had a different PH in the beginning. The ML of Begu was totally abusive. When Swastik took over in the middle they actually toned down the ML's character completely.Begu must be the only show in which the abusive elements were shown.

SidT is the mind behind progressive shows like Amber Dhara, Mahabharat and Mahakaali.

Sid and Rahul Tewary are awesome producers.Yes they totally distorted Razia Sultan's history though.
But still the show remained watchable till the end.

Of course, I remember Altunia as a sweetheart. During those times, I would say a lot in different forums how he is the best male lead. That's the reason, I and my family cobtuned watching the show and of course due to brave Razia. Cvs should not have showed Albania in the beginning. It would be fine if they completely followed history and showed Razia without any male lead for most of the show. Par humaari bhaartiya janta ko romance ke bina kuch acchha hi nahi lagta hai. It's not just about Altunia but I did not liked Razia too some of the times like when she slapped Altunia thrice during family mourning scene and her releasing the murderer Yakut. It would have been watchable if Altunia simply put Razia in jail after a fight and then proposal to marry her instead of making her walk barefoot in chains while ger feet bled and marrying her in chains. So those few scenes were horribly exaggerated. If Razia tortured Altunia then I would have said the same. Bandhan and Ghulam were also if Tewary Brothers. They can't do anything to Mahabharat and Mahakali as they are mythos. Amber Dhara was in 2006 dear. Those times there were many progressive shows. But from 7-8 years there are hardly any progressive shows.

Bandhan had dancing on glass I think as if we were watching Sholay!!!!🤢

Most irritating thing in Bandhan was their background music of Tum Ho Saath Mere and the filmsy logic of a teenager murdering someone!!!!

Where Swastik went wrong with RS is that they sugar coated everything and turned it into a full fledged love story between Alzia.I won't deny that I loved Alzia like anything. They were like a fairytale from the Arabian Nights.I never considered that to be real history though.
The historical Alzia were totally different and yet fascinating.

1.Razia and Altunia were childhood friends. He was also some sort of a cousin to her.

2.Razia's life was full of political intrigues and struggles.None of these were ever shown.

3.Life of women during the Delhi Sultanate was really tough. It was not shown.

4.Razia's biggest rivals the Group of Forty were not shown.

5.Yaqut was an Abyssinian slave who was Razia's close friend.I don't there was anything more than genuine friendship between them. But in those days a man and a woman's friendship was frowned upon.Especially if she was a Sultan and he was a slave.Contrary to what was shown Yaqut was a decent guy in real.

6.Malik Altunia rebelled against Razia out of jealousy and ambition. He did imprison her and made a deal with her to marry him. After that they became allies. They did love each other but it was a complicated relationship.

7.About binding her in chains and making her walk barefoot then I agree that it was totally far fetched and distasteful.
The real Altunia would have never ever done that.Yes Razia was his prisoner but she was treated with respect.

Now I have never seen Bandhan so I cannot say anything about it.But Ghulaam was not by the Tewary Bros.It was by Saurabh Tewary who is nowhere related to Sid and Rahul Tewary. They have nothing in common apart from the surname.

The only two Saurabh Tewary heroes whom I liked were Rudra from Rangrasiya and Raghu from Do Dil Ek Jaan. These two were aggressive yes.But never abusive.
Though the rest of them are A1 jerks

This was something which I posted sometime ago in the BW forum.Thought to share it.

Just a general observation.I have seen many people remarking that Indian shows are regressive,Indian shows promote abuse, etc.😆 I just wanted to point out that of Indian pairs are abusive then some of the most famous ships of English shows are no less.Namely,

-Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl:Chuck nearly raped two girls, used his girlfriend Blair like a tissue paper, pimped her to his uncle for the sake of his hotel, hit her in anger and yet Blair fell head over heels in love with him and married him too.

-Aria and Ezra from Pretty Little Liars:This guy enters the life of an underage girl and turns out to be her teacher, gets into a relationship with her and is later revealed that he had meticulously planned on entering her life and got involved with her despite knowing that she was an underage girl and his student. This relationship filled every criteria of statutory rape.

-Delena from TVD:Now I am a die hard shipper but yes I don't deny that this relationship too was unhealthy.

So my point was that English shows are not exactly progressive either. So why look down upon Indian shows only when the disease is spread everywhere??Be it American,Turkish or Pakistani.
