It has nothing to do with the novel really and has that age old typical Ekta storyline which she has shown in shows like Naagin etc

Evil Witch and Hero's step mother kills Heroine's mother and heroine needs to avenge her mother. Hero is devoted to his step mother and does what she says. However he falls in love with the heroine but evil stepmother uses her so called power over the hero and manipulates the situation so that misunderstandings are created and Hero ends up hating the heroine

Think you have seen/ heard of it before...? I certainly have 😆

I was fainting after I managed to sit through 1 hr of this nonsense, hoping for some miracles though I knew right from the promo stage that this one gonna suck so bad.

Costumes?! My oh My, itna ghatiya costumes koi princess or any other royals padhta hai kya!

Here toh the lead actress is ugly to the point of being qualified to play a Rakshasi instead of princess Chandrakanta.

Also she's extremely pathetic as an actress so I don't know really how...I mean HOW Madhurima got casted as Chandrakanta?!

I never liked her from the very beginning but I hoped to see some miracles from her regarding her acting but she disappointed me.

She was good as Tanu in KumKum Bhagya but she flops as Chandrakanta.

Vishal is UGLY,UGLY,UGLY and nothing else.

His tandaav was ROFLMAO and topped KVB's tandaav shown a few weeks back in Naagin 2.

Ekta needs to fire her choreographers responsible for these tandaav nrityas(read item numbers) like right now.

Indian Tv has stooped to a new low with Chandrakanta.

Let's pray that we might see some good supernatural shows instead of this rubbish

I do my find anything wrong with Madhurima casted as Chandrakanta. She is beautiful and talented actress. Vishal is also fine. I don't get what's wrong with people to bash an actor on their looks like Shivani Tomar, Karthika Nair, Aditi Gupta and now Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh. Jitna show aur concept ko vash karna hai karo par actors ko bash na karo.

Coming to the topic, Colors CK is so horrible with she being called daasi and naukrani. If that's not enough she is also shown cleaning the king's(Shiv Dutt's father) shoes with her dupatta. SD of Life Ok ranted for weeks that he will make CK his daasi but in Colors version CK is actually a daasi in SD's palace. Very soon, cvs will show CK as a daasi for Irawati and Virendra. 7-8 year old boy being betrothed to a 1-2 month old baby girl was another shocking thing. Can't they show the kids almost of the same age?
