I don't even know who r these actors you are talking about just to degrade Gaurav. Comparing him with any Tom dick n harry doesn't take away the credit from Gaurav. His hardwork n determination can easily be seen in all his scenes.

Aham Sharma stole the thunder as Karna in SP Mahabharath. He was one the finest performers in the show after Sourabh Raj Jain and Pooja Sharma.

In CK as per me Kroor Singh is the major let down, followed by Shivdutt. Leads are fine. Shivdutt lacks the aura of the villian. Also Pankaj Dheer was too good as Shivdutt in old CK.

He's a good actor no doubt .

He has the required physique and height no doubt .

But I agree with you. He needs to bring more intensity to his role.

I've seen the old chandrakanta a bit and think that all the actors of this serial lack the larger than life attitude of that serial.

Gaurav and kritika are very good, but their performances really don't really jolt people out of their seats like mohit raina's in dkdm.

But , one thing : both kritika and gaurav do romantic scenes very well.

They have a very good chemistry. So life ok needs to market that aspect of the show in saas bahu aur saazish type programmes.

I remember thousands of segments were made on rivanya from Naagin and that's another reason why that show became popular.

If people come to know the ChaVi chemistry, people will come to watch the show.

Honestly , I don't think vishal aditya singh and madhurima tuli can replicate this chemistry.
