If Bharti was acting absolutely selfish (I would say Ketki is being more selfish in this case), then that's one thing. However Bharti did EVERYTHING SHE COULD, including going against her own family (who thought it was absurd to get Mona married) in order to save Mona. To call her selfish is absurd.

Look, I understand Mona's frustations and her sadness and her desire to stay in that house. I feel really bad for her. But that does not validate her rudeness towards her mother in law who has supported her so much. It's one thing if she decided to not talk to Bharti or Aditya. But to be rude to your elders when you know very well that they had the best intentions for you is not cool.

You're saying if you were in Mona's shoes, you would have said much worse. But what if you were in Bharti's shoes?

It's a difficult situation for everyone, but a little respect can be expected to help things out.

I know the show focuses on Mona but let's not forget that Bharti was Anukalp's mother who spent 25+ years with him.

I'm not viewing this from Bharti's shoes, I said that i understood why Mona is behaving the way she is. Of course, if i looked from Bharti or Aditya's POV, I'd feel differently. In Mona's POV, she doesn't believe in all that baba stuff and all those superstitions, she feels as if Bharti took away her right of being Anukalp's widow and mourning for him because of her silly beliefs. Mona may or may not be right in what she says or does but all I can say is that i UNDERSTAND why she is behaving the way she is.
