U know Sri, i don't blame you in the least bit. Despite that fact that he's a new actor n bla bla bla, i must say that in a way, if not all ways, i feel the same as you.
Nishant Malkani made Anukalp, well Anukalp, and anyone else trying to fill his shoes to be quite honest, should quit from the beginning.
I know, it's sad that Nishant has left, and to be honest there is nothing that we can do about it, but i do agree that this new Anukalp isn't working out. If you have been watching this new character like i have for 2 days, it might not seem a lot, but remember, first impressions are always right, and one should do the utmost best to make a good first impression. Whatever that impression was that you the viewers had in the beginning, is the one that will remain there in your hearts.
I have never been the type of person to comment negatively however i feel that the need has arisen for me to do so. Someone mentioned above that we don't watch the show for the actors but for the storyline but i beg to differ.
It is the actors that define who the characters are, and it is the characters who define what the show will be.
In the case of Priyal Gor n Sara Khan, it is safe to say that, a change was made for the better and the fact that RMJ picked up viewers instead of loosing them proves that fact. However how do you replace or change the best? What is better than Best? Absolutely nothing. In the case of Nishant, he made the character of Anukalp one for the world to love because i am writing this post all the way from Belize City in Central America.
It is with all the sadness in my heart that i say that i too must withdraw from RMJ. Sara Khan is not Mona without Nishant Malkani's Anukalp. She is now simply trying to do her best with what or who she has been given to work with. I too will do my best to watch the show to support Sarah, but like i said before, it's going to be almost impossible to watch a show that you really have no interest in watching.
