Some time ago, we saw Mona weeping and pitying the state she was in... how she would get scolded everyday, how no one in the house loved her... and then she cried some more.
This would be normal because of the change in lifestyle, but I wonder if Mona could not have taken it as a challenge - to show Anu's family just how well she could fit into their family.
Perhaps later she could do just this - that'll be fun to watch. She can show Bejal and Baa exactly what she is made of.
