she looked around "are you crazy in front of everyone. "them, they are busy in the kitchen, come on just one please" he asked, moving close to her, holding one hand. "would you like any dokhla?" they both looked up at Ramu. "nope we are fine, in fact can you go and get the sabzi's with sargam. He nodded. The door closed and he turned to her. "now we are alone" he said moving his seat closer to hers. She herself got lost in his spell. He gently held her hand and dropped the spoon in the plate, and waited for his kiss.By her expressive eyes, he could tell he would get his way, she came close to him, he could feel the warmth of her lips so close to his, she turned and pecked him on the cheek. "happy?" she smiled taking a spoonful into her mouth. He touched his cheek. "hmm" he chuckled softly. "I meant on the lips, like this" he surprised her as he poked his tongue out and sensually sucked a grain of her bottom lip. omg did he just do that "Mmm taste way better off your lips" she was just pleasantly shocked at his actions and lost for words.. Siya whinged. She turned around ready to get up to attend to her, Krishna stopped her. "Finish your breakfast I will see to her, he said getting out of his seat. "Siya what's all this noise baby, come here" he took her out of the walker. "Listen I haven't seen my little Angel properly since I have been back" he said giving her chubby cheeks a kiss. "mwah my bacha" he hugged the cutie, she could hear everything from the hall, could she love him anymore than she does, he is just amazing. Just then dadi came. "Siya mere bachi" he handed her to dadi, as they all came into the dinning area. Krishna's phone rang, "hello yes, today.. ok fine" he cut the line. "I need to go to the office for a few hours or so..

"I thought you are on vacation sir" she called..

"I did too but apparently that doesn't apply if you are your own boss, they can't do anything without me it seems. He sighed. "Anyway let me sort somethings out then at least tomorrow I don't have go in again or for the rest of the month. Pratigya didn't want him to leave but she couldn't say voice that thought. "I'll just go get changed quickly" he said and raced up the stairs. Just then the door bell rang. "Dadi its Sujataji, and Payalji," the two ladies greeted dadi and one of them held Siya, Krishna came back downstairs, he greeted them all. "Pratigya come with me I'll drop you off to see your papa and then once I'm done at the office I will come collect you and drop you home?"

"papa today seriously,that would be great" her face lit up when her papa was mentioned.

"great let's go, dadi is that ok you will ok with Siya?" she nodded "of course beta, I wish a speedy recover to Saurabhji" Pratigya nodded "thanks dadi"

"come" he called. Pratigya and Krishna left together. "Sir will Kaushaliya be ok with me coming to see papa?"

"It's not up to her anymore she doesn't call the shots, and I heard she is away at the moment so it will be just you with your papa." She smiled she was thrilled to hear that.

"thank you so much for this" they parked up. "so I will see you later then?" she asked he nodded. "take care" he said. "you too" he came close and kissed her lips. "See you later" she opened the car door shyly. Krishna couldn't stop smiling as he drove to his office. She spent time at her father's bedside talking to him as she usually would, it felt great to be there without any annoyance from her step mum, she felt happy to freely speak with him. Krishna came by 10pm to pick her up from the hospital, she was waiting for him in the parking area she saw his car and made her way to it. They reached to her apartment he parked up. "I'm very happy to hear that your father is making progress" she smiled. "I know I couldn't believe it when they told me"

"It's good to see you smiling, always smile like this only" he said caressing her left cheek. She looked down for a second and then up. "do you want to come inside for a coffee?" he nodded. "yes I would like that very much" she smiled. They both got out of the car, once they were out they held on to each others hand as they walked and climbed the stairs together. She pulled her key out of her purse and turned it in the door. "come in, sorry about the mess, she took her shoes off, and so did he. "Make yourself at home, I will just be in the kitchen for a minute" he nodded, and took a seat on the couch. She pulled out 2 cups and placed them on the counter. A few seconds later she heard footsteps, and he hugged her from the back. "I don't want coffee you will be just fine" he said placing a kiss on the side of her neck, as he did, she sighed leaning against his chest, her hand found its way to his jaw line she traced it with her index finger, slowly twirling in his arms to face him, once their eyes met, his eager mouth found hers, her hands got lost in his hair,the kiss position changed as her back came against the wall, he angled his head side way taking kissing the corner of her mouth, then sucking it, the kiss getting heated made her nervous,"Ahem" she said come I'll show you the rest of the flat, she pulled him by his hand and showed him around, "this is the seating area, bathroom, um and bedroom. "Bedroom so this is where you dream about me" he chuckled wrapping his arms around her waist. She nodded shyly, and the bed is it comfortable?" he asked. She nodded, suddenly feeling hot all over. "so you want to watch a movie or something, he asked changing the subject and freeing her from his arms as he could sense she was feeling tense. "ok" they walked to the couch he quickly checked the time, "actually let me see what time it is.. oh its that late, I better get going"

"Already, I mean we didn't even have coffee yet, I can go make some real quick" she said feeling sad that he was ready to leave already. She wasn't sure what to do, and he could sense her holding back but he didn't understand why she was doing so. "Tomorrow I'll come"

"ok if that's what you want, but I would really like it if you would stay, not the night of course but maybe half hour we can just chill on the couch" she said pulling his hands playfully. "ok you got me I'll stay for a bit" she smiled "great" she sat down on the sofa next to him and switched the tv on.. nothing great was on, she flicked through the channels and he watched her as she did, he didn't care for what was on the tv. "Is this good?" she asked. "Hmm" he replied not even glancing at the tv. She turned around and saw his eyes on her, "this is perfect" he whispered, coiling her hair and pulling her closer to him, her eyes followed his movement, and she leaned down to allow him to express his feelings, she closed her eyes feeling his warm, soft lips against hers, this time she let go a little, allowing her mouth to explore his. He relished the feeling of her fingers grasping his hair, his nape, she didn't know when she had climbed into his lap, with both her legs in stretched out to the corner of the couch, her hands roaming around his neck and back, she was passionately lost his kiss. He lowered her on the couch, kissing her neck and cheek. Then he stopped with the touching of his forehead to hers, and smiled. "It's getting late I should go" she sat up, "uh hmm" agreeing and blushing,straightening her salvar and hair. He got up from the couch they walked to the front door. "Good night baby" he said turning pulling her close "Good night sir I'll see you tomorrow" she said resting her palms on his shoulders. She caressed his cheek with her left hand, and this time she leaned in and kissed him more openly, he felt her tongue trace his bottom lip before she took it into her mouth, he was pleasantly surprised by it, he slowly dropped his lip down, and let their tongues meet, am I being too bold' her thoughts clouded her making her break the kiss slowly, "mm I like kissing you" she smiled shyly hearing that now she felt this time it was different to their first kiss which had been the worst week of her life, but this felt perfect here she was in loving his arms, his hand around her waist, her hands were resting on his lower arms "same here" she replied pressing her lips together, meeting his gaze,"and tomorrow" he pulled her close to him by her waist, pressing her against his frame. " again I want you to come see me first, and tomorrow we are going to spend most of the day together, got it" he smiled. She nodded. "I look forward to it" he pulled her into a sweet embrace, she leaned her chin on his shoulder. wow he just feels like home' he kissed her cheek and then released her. She walked him to the door. "bye" she waved, once she closed the door, she exhaled. I can't believe me and sir would ever happen, I dreamt this but it's actually happening' she squealed happily. Her mind just gathered thoughts to how far she had come, as she went to sleep, she thought of her first meeting with Krishna.

Hi Pratigya?.. I'm Krishna. pleasure to meet you.. he out stretched his hand to hers. Krishna looked at her, why wasn't she shaking his hand, she looked at him in wonder instead she greeted him with a "namaste"she giggled at the memory, fiddling with the pillow in her hand. "and tomorrow I will spend most of the day with him he said, I wonder what he wants to do" she smiled coyly to herself.

Pratigya got to Krishna's place early, she crept to his room remembering her promise, but he wasn't there, she checked all the rooms upstairs, but no one was there. She looked downstairs in the kitchen and all places she could think off. Hmm there is only one place he can be, workaholic, in his office" she said peering through his window there he was on the phone. Does she dare?, she does she opened his office door and made her presence known. "Yes Mr Modi" he saw her enter the door and his first insticts were to wave her forward. She smiled at his response and shut the door behind her. "of course sir, we will.. she came close to him, and adjusted his chair backwards so she had some space. "don't worry" he said into the phone, with her playful mood she sat on his lap,sitting on his left thigh, her hands gripped the table in front of her, "I assure you sir" Pratigya felt his hand immediately stretch around her belly, holding her in place, Her smile widened feeling his actions. "yes, we will be in touch" he replied. "hmm" he caressed the side of her belly through her salvar. "when will that be again?" he asked. He started feeling restless the conversation was pro-longing with Krishna repeating I see' and hmm' she looked down and began to play with his fingers, pulling and caressing them with her left hand. Even whilst he was talking she felt his fingers making slow movements and entangling with hers. "Done, sir ok we will be in touch.. yeah bye" he cut the line and turned his head to her. "well what a lovely morning vision I have in my arms" he said looking at her lovely face. "Good morning sir" she said leaning down and cupped his face whilst their lips met. "It certainly is" he said tying to turn her in his lap. "ok I have fulfilled my promise" she said hoping off. "hmm?" she turned around to him. "yah I saw you first thing, and now I will go see Siya" he shook his head, and she turned around "see you later my darling" she gave him a fly kiss. She closed the office door, and all he could hear was the word darling' how sweet it sounded on her lips. "She called me her darling" he chuckled "how damn cute was that?"

Pratigya got busy with Siya as Krishna did in his office, it was coming to late noon, and she took her upstairs to lay her down. "my good girl" she said as she lifted her off her shoulder and placed her down head first in her crib. She heard approaching steps, "I thought I heard voices" she turned around "shh, I just got her down sir"

"oh sorry" he put his index finger to his lip, she smiled at him and patted his shoulder as she walked and almost passed him. "and where are you going?" she turned to him. "back downstairs.." he shook his head. "no, I have hardly seen you today"

"I know, and I'm sorry but dadi wants me to sit with her for a little while so.."

"oh ok, then you should, and I know this I am a very patient guy and I love my dadi very much so you are free to go" he said with a smile. She loved that about him, he indeed was very patient. "thanks" she said turning only to be turned back. "hmm but not that patient either" and he caught her by surprise, by pulling her into a spontaneous kiss, once she felt his arms around her, his lips on hers, her hands too flew up holding him close on his upper back, standing on the front of the stairs kissing each other, thrice he kissed her and ended with one on her cheek. She couldn't meet his gaze, she was feeling shy, then she looked up at him, his kiss made her all giddy and he knew it "careful on them stairs now madam" he said leaving to his room, leaving her flushed and red all over. A few seconds later, she took to the stairs, her mind kept replaying to the couple of seconds she just had with him. She held the banister rail and walked down the stairs all bashful. "beta" said dadi.. she cleared her throat "ji-ji dadi". She walked over to her and took a seat next to her. "Its Siya's birthday next month I would like you to be in charge of it. "Me?" she asked in surprise and a slight nervous tone. "hmm beta why so surprise, you are fond of Siya and I have full faith that you will do a great job, isn't it papu?" she turned around. Krishna came downstairs when?' her mind question when she saw him come to the hall munching on an apple. "Hmm excellent idea dadi" he stood in front of them. "then that is settled usually Preeti does it but she isn't here which I am glad about." "Aren't we all" he murmured, taking another bite. "so that's final I will make a list of numbers for you to call and where to have it you decide and let me know the expenses. "oh ok" she replied. Dadi got up and left to her room. Pratigya was lost in thoughts. "Sir I don't know how to organise a birthday party tell dadi not to ask me I.."

"Hey" he said sitting down next to her and taking her hands in his lap."I won't tell dadi that, because Pratigya I have faith in you, and any questions you have you can always ask me I will help you, you don't have to worry about a thing hmm, I'm with you" he said putting his right arm around her. "thanks sir" she said leaning her head on his shoulder. "Listen darling" she lifted her head up to face him. "hmm?"

"It's Saturday tomorrow do you have any plans I was thinking to take you to a romantic dinner what say?" he is always doing things for you isn't it time you do something in return?' her mind reflected.

"sir you have done so much for me" she held his hand in hers, "please I want to do something for you" he listened to her. "ok" she looked down for a second then up at him,

"yah I want to cook your favourite dish for you, so come over to my place and I will feed your favourite, please don't mind. He did want to take her out for dinner, but he didn't want to constantly flash his cash,and dinner by her hands sounded appealing. "sure I would love that" she smiled at his response. "ok great" she smiled fully, she has such a beautiful smile' he thought as spoke. "so what is your favourite dish then?"

"Listen beautiful you make what ever you want I will eat it" his phone rang. "excuse me one sec"

"but sir.. she called this is not done I need to know his favourite dish only then I will feel happy to cook for him, but he won't tell me I have to get it out of him somehow.

Krishna went into his office and Pratigya attended to a crying Siya, what does sir like and who else would know. Then she got an idea. "I'll ask dadi" she said with a smile. She settled Siya and took her with her. "Dadi are you busy?" she asked as she saw her writing something in a book. Dadi looked up from her page. "yes beta what can I help you with?" Pratigya walked over to her and sat down with Siya. Dadi looked at her waiting for her to say something. you can't just come out and ask Sir's favourite food without dadi asking why you are asking such a question. " Dadi what's your favourite food?"

"Oh your thinking for Siya's birthday about the catering.. well beti what ever you feel my personal favourite is a traditional thali, but papu he spent quite a bit of time in the US,so he is quite fond of western food. She listened to dadi and this was the perfect opportunity to ask, but then she had a better idea. "and what dish does he not like.. dadi laughed. "I know he does not like rice and rajma, I don't know why but he just doesn't like it at all he says its too plain. "Is that so..." she thought with a mischievous look.

"Done, done now no more work I can enjoy the rest of my month off!" he thought as he closed his office door. As soon as he left she came to his mind, she must be busy with Siya' he said looking around the empty hall. He looked at his watch woah where did the time go' it was coming to 5pm. Pratigya grabbed Siya's teddy bear, she heard steps approaching. now I have to find out what sir likes' she thought he was upstairs but she was wrong, her mind was playing tricks on her. She took to the stairs, and gave Siya the toy, she turned around she was pleased to see him approaching. "hey, what are you two up to" he said taking a seat on the couch", he saw her standing and pulled her next to him. "I feel like I've hardly seen you all day" he said playing with her hand. "hmm sir" she turned her face to his. "can I leave early today I need to go shopping for tomorrow, you know to prepare for your dinner.. you know" she said playing with his fingers.. "I would prepare well if I knew what your favourite is" she said fluttering her lashes at him. He chortled "You really want to know huh?" she nodded eagerly prepared to hear the answer. "first give me a tight hug then I will tell you" her eyes lit up that seems like an easy bargain' she thought. "ok" she leaned closely and draped her arms around him. She smiled, he inhaled her hair and scent as she leaned on his chest. this is so nice, he smells lovely, and he's all warm and..' she lost her thoughts and just enjoyed the hug, she could seriously fall asleep in those arms she felt such connection and warmth in them. He rubbed her upper back, resting his hands on them she's so sweet, and I just love having her in my arms' he began to stroke her hair, and her hands mirrored his action. wow I love the way her hands play with my hair' "Hmm" he sighed. Now he wanted to see her face. She made movement which made her look at him, her hands lazily resting around his shoulders. He held her shoulders, as he leaned close and whispered something in her ear "I will eat what ever you prepare" he got up with a cheeky smirk "sir that's unfair" he chuckled "that's a thing my darling everything is fair in love and war" she got up quickly as he was walking off. "you said you will eat anything I prepare right?"

He turned around "of course"

"great I will prepare my favourite dish" he smiled at her "great I can't wait to try it" she smiled "good then rice and rajma it is" his expression changed "rice and rajma... she folded her arms "hmm after all you said you will eat what ever I prepare right.. he forced a smile "of course darling I look forward to it" Pratigya's mouth dropped as he walked off. "damn now how will I find out, he just played me at my own game. "Rajma and rice yuk!" he said walking into one of rooms. Now Pratigya didn't know what to do.. "Yes Gauri I will ask her for ideas, maybe she can help prepare a good dish and hope he likes it" Krishna are you really going to eat rajma you know you hate it'

She popped her head in the room "Sir I better get going so I can go do some shopping in preparation of rajma" Krishna fake a smile. "ok you win its Lasagne that's my favourite dish I use to eat it a lot when I was at uni" she smiled walking in.finally he spilled' "oh ok, but I will stick to making rajma" he looked up at her "oh.." she wanted to laugh out loud at his childlike expression. "ok darling if that is what your heart is set on preparing then its fine" and he pulled her by the waist towards him, she welcomed his actions wrapping her own hands on his. "rajma, wow you must really like me" he smiled at her, "I'm prepared to eat rajma I must really love you, if you knew how much I hate this dish then.." her mind just stopped and rewinded he loves me?' but she didn't ask him about it.. she didn't have the guts what if it was a mistake he made. She just smiled at him. "Sir I wanted to ask you something?"

"Hmm?" he asked "yeah dadi said your chacha came back. Krishna's expression changed. "oh, I didn't tell you? she shook her head. He took a deep breath. "um.." he held her hands. "sir it's ok if your not ready to share" she took her hands to herself. "I'll see you tomorrow?" she smiled and left from there. Krishna was lost for words what are you doing, go after her and explain something!' screamed his mind. "Pratigya wait" he held her hand and turned her around. "I will tell you properly tomorrow promise ok" she nodded. "he just messed with dadi's head and mine, he just makes me so.." Pratigya wished she didn't ask anything, she could see Krishna going into a bad mood. "Sir, its ok" she held his shoulders "come here" he went into her welcoming arms. "so our first date tomorrow?" she said changing the subject. he chuckled "7pm can't come fast enough, I'm so use to seeing you in the morning" he said circling her waist. She smiled with a laugh just enjoying him. "by the way I got a call from kiku he wants us to shoot a scene on Monday that's ok na?"

"yah indoor scene or something" he nodded.. "hmm bedroom scene.."

"oh" she replied,she could feel the blood rush to her cheeks, Krishna saw the change.."but darling don't worry its..

"papu!"

"dadi is coming" they both said in unison "oh by the way here your cheque for this week" he handed it to her, "you both are here?" said dadi joining them. "yeah I was just giving her, her wages" he said. "that's fine papu can I get your help for a minute?" she looked at Pratigya as if she was asking permission "yes of course I was leaving anyway" Krishna didn't want her to go just yet "yeah dadi I will drop her and be back" he called. "no sir it's fine, I have Gauri's car" Krishna wanted to get a few minutes alone before she went. "ok beta we will see you on Monday, papu hurry lets go" Krishna went with dadi and Pratigya trailed behind " besides I need an early night so I can go shopping for tomorrow and if you drop me then..." she raised a brow which made him want to take her home even more. "bye beta" said dadi and he knew he couldn't find anymore excuses to stop her. "bye Pratigya" he said in a low voice. "bye sir take care" she squeezed his hand then headed for the door.

"first date" Gauri said excitedly. "yes will you come with me to pick up the ingredients for Lasagna" of course don't worry if you want we can prepared it at my house I have a bigger kitchen so. "that would be great" Gauri smiled "and also we will go shopping for a dress" Pratigya was puzzled "why?"

"aree its your first date, you want to dress up for him don't you?" or you can borrow one of my dresses because I'm not sure you will have the time.. "yah it sounds like.. actually I have some dresses he gifted to me I can wear one of those. "yeah that works too" said Gauri. "ok I'm going to bed I will see you early tomorrow" Pratigya opened her cupboard and saw the lovely dressed he had bought her that day. For a casual date they looked too dressy. Gauri must have something I can borrow!' she closed the door and went to sleep.

"Hmm no, its too short and reveaing" said Pratigya.

"what's wrong, its perfect, he will love it and its easy to open" she turned to her. "There will be no opening of anything! I'm not letting anyone near me!"

"aree chill I'm just pulling your leg" now she felt all nervous after that comment.

"maybe I should just cancel, what if sir is that modern type of guy, on first date he wants too."

"(tut) now you are just over thinking things"

"well your comments didn't help!" she snapped back.

" sorry, forgive me please" she held her lobes and looked at Pratigya"

"crazy girl, she said pulling Gauri and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.. Then a dress caught her eye.

"Oh this one is nice" she said taking one from a hanger. "Yes Pratigya I was just going to find this one, this one for first date it great" Now Pratigya nervousness got replaced with excitement,

Pratigya heard the door bell, she opened to a very handsome Krishna, he was wearing black trousers with a royal blue shirt which looked great on him. her hair was open, she had medium size silver hoops on, smoky eyes, and pink lip gloss.

"hi" he said coming forward. "hi" she air kissed him as he pecked her on the cheek.

for you" she smiled seeing the boquet of red roses. He just handed to her.

"thank you, come in" he walked in and she closed the door.

she turned around "thanks I thought western food so western clothes would be best." He smiled "I'll just put these in some water, you take a seat. He nodded heading to the sofa. Then she turned to him "and sir?" he turned around to her. "hmm?"

"that colour really suits you very much" he smiled at her.

K's shirt

"I'm glad you liked it" he winked at her and headed to the sofa. She too turned around and headed to the kitchen, she placed the flowers on the breakfast counter, admiring them. She pulled out a pot and began to fill it up with water. he bought me flowers' she squealed grinning to herself, now she really felt like his girlfriend. Once that was done she prepared the table. "sir come dinner is ready" he switched the tv off and followed her. He saw the table with two plates and a casserole dish in the middle. "I hope your ready to eat Rajma, sit down let me serve you.." oh he had almost forgot what she cooked. She sat down with a fake grin, she removed the top and waited to see his face. "Rajma is served" he looked opposite to him. "you prankster" he said gripping her wrist. "eh" she giggled, then he let go "I'm so getting you later for this" he chuckled. "I hope you like it, its my first try"

"I'm sure its fine" with a smile he gave his plate forward and she took a piece and placed it on the plate. He took a fork and digged in.. "Mmm its quite nice, its cheesy, good blend of the sauce," he took another bit. "yum" she smiled, glad that he liked it. "Aren't you going to have some?" he stopped to notice that she was just watching him. "I will eat later" she replied. "(tut) no you have to eat with me" he took a forkful and placed it in her mouth. "hmm, she replied holding her hand under her chin so it didn't drop. its actually quite nice, I didn't do such a bad job' she thought feeling proud of her culinary skills "its nice huh?" she smiled, "Its not too bad" she replied. "I forgot to get us some drinks just a sec, whilst she went to pour them something, he prepared her plate. Once they had eaten, they both relaxed on the sofa, "Lovely meal" he said drapping his arm around her left shoulder, wit his head sligjtly tilted back, "I'm glad you liked it" she said resting her chin onleft side upper chest, he turned to her, and lifted her chin as he captured her lips, in a soft,warm kiss. He smiled at her which made her smile. "so yesterday I promised you I will tell you about my chacha. She did say that yesterday but no she didn't want to spoil his mood, "Pratigya I don't really talk to people about my past, and only those whom I trust and are special to me I share it with them. She looked down, till she felt his hand push a loose

and he filled her in all about his chacha's actions since he was a teenager. "so that's it I guess" he went quiet. How can anyone treat their own this way, I know my step mum is no angel but she is not blood related in anyway' she was kneeing on her knees caressing his forehead. how can anyone treat anyone like that"

"I'm just thinking how selfish my chacha is,I'm his nephew and he chose Preeti over me his blood, his nephew, he wasn't always bad as a kid I was very fond of him but now.."

"It just makes me so angry the way he has treated you.. I just how dare he hurt my man" she leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "someone's feeling a little possessive?" he commented "of course I am no one messes with the man I love" she said playing with his shirt collar,Now he was alert and sat straight. "what, repeat what you just said?"

"I.." she looked down feeling embarrassed. what did she just slip out?' do you want some coffee, I'll make us some" she went to get up but he stopped her. "you love me?" he asked directly. Feeling his grip on her hand she sat down on her side facing him." I-I do" she nodded He pulled her forward, his eyes glinting, rubbing the side of her waist through the material "say it again please I want to hear it, because ahem" he took his hand away, mustering the courage to speak some truth, "I have loved you since sometime now Pratigya but I was afraid to say it, in case you know you don't have the same feelings." wait rewind he loves me too?' her heart started beating fast. She held his hand. "Sir you have no idea how much I wanted to tell you my feelings, I have felt like this since I started working for you."
