Tell me something about your new show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dor Se?

It's a new show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dor Se of Zee TV. It's a film farms production. It's a simple and sweet show, when you watch the show you'll be surprised to see as it's a simple show with a simple story. It's all about circumstances, it's not a love story in the beginning but off course love story will happen later as it's an Indian television show but initially when you see the show it's about the circumstances of life. It's a beautiful story which can be relatable to real life. The characters are very nice and realistic especially my character wherein I play Raghu who is the pivotal part of the Balwant Rana's family. They are the multimillionaires and I play a role of a multitasker so the story revolves around this guy called Raghu and it's a very simple yet a very interesting and a very nice story. The show is interesting at every point as it unfurls the plot so generally the audience can relate the on screen situations of the show to their life. There is much more about the show but can't disclose it at an early stage of its development.

Let's talk about your childhood and struggle in the industry?

My struggle was my hardwork before I entered in the industry. I believe in hardwork and homework and I don't allow myself to do anything before preparation I had always planned that I wanted to get into this industry and always be an actor so the amount of homework and hardwork before coming to Mumbai and joining the industry were the basis of my struggle, other than that I had not to face any struggle with the auditions or approaching production houses for a break. After being an actor there is a lot of patience required to maintain your standards as an actor in the industry and the kind of projects one chooses highlights the important factors of being an actor thus I believe it as a struggle too as you may tend to make wrong decisions which can crash your career. So these are the very important parameters and I take care of all these things as it takes time for me to decide before entering into a new project. Coming to childhood, my family members are doctors by profession and so my parents too wanted me to be a doctor but I was never interested in the same neither did they forced me to be one. So my parents and my other family members supported me to take up acting as my profession and that's how with their love and encouragement towards the same made my journey comfortable.

Your fans want you back in Pratigya 2 so any plans to go back if you wish to do so?

I understand their sentiments since they are attached to Krishna (character in Star Plus's show Pratigya) but they need to understand that at the end of the day I am an actor so I have to satisfy myself so obviously I don't want to be monotonous and I decided to not be a part of Pratigya 2. I opted out of the show since there was a repetition in the character and I believe in doing different things, different genres and so that's what I am doing and I am happy doing it but eventually once my new show airs they will definitely appreciate my character as they did with Krishna. Right now they've not seen me in different character other than Krishna so once they start watching my new show and my new character so they'll start following that character and/or show and liking the same.

Do you think your character as Raghu in Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dor Se will gain equal popularity than your character as Krishna in Pratigya?

I am working hard so that I reach out to each and everybody's heart so people who missed me as Krishna or didn't see me as Krishna I want to reach them also via my character Raghu so its always an actors attempt to reach out everybody's heart that's why I wish that it becomes a success and that is what I am working out on.

Talking about your love life is there anyone who makes you feel very special?

Well there are a lot of people who makes me feel special but talking about my love life many people have asked me about the same but I would like to keep it under the cover as it is very personal and I don't wish to disclose it. I know that my fans want to know about my love life but this is the point wherein I don't share my personal things about my life.

Can TV actors reign over Bollywood?

I believe that an actor is an actor irrespective of television or Bollywood as they work for the same industry but in different areas so it's wrong to differentiate them as a TV actor or Bollywod actor. It's nice to see the gates open for actors like us in movies and now you can see film stars on TV too so I believe it's a good endeavor and its all about an actor and not about the different fields of acting. Although I have been approached by several filmmakers but I am looking out for a right script to make an entry into movies.
