ASY

He has some issues but unclear as to why he has a vendetta against whom. Sometimes its SS bit more than SS, it feels like K he has an issue. He wants to fight for his mother's position. But what position is that? Is it her position or his insecuritirees, the issues? ASY as it seems had a comfortable life, in the sense he lived in the Haveli, albeit as a servant's son but all expenses were paid and he gained an education with TN money. No basic struggle for survival. He has been in a better position then some would have been otherwise. Wants his motive? He wants a father's name on his birth certificate or when filling forms he does not want to keep the father' section blank or he wants love from SS and that SS recognises him as his son? Would his life been any better had SS been part of it?

Shakutalal

She seemed to have the freedom to raise her son and more importantly give him the most valuable thing, an education so that ASY can make a name and identity for himself. Had she lived with SS, then her condition would have been the same as amma. What is more important to her? Winning the hearts ot TN and having a position in TN or seeing how and realising that she got a better deal despite giving birth to an illegitimate son.

My question is are their lives better off without the Takur attachment? Would ASY been treated the same as KN had he grown up with SS? Would he have resented K for being the ladla? Would ASY too. Turn out as a goon? Should we be grateful to our own lives, no matter how imperfect it is or have gratitude that it could have been much worse

Interesting post. I think that ASY has been obsessed about this for his whole life and Krishna's trial gave him a chance to score points against Thakurs. However irony is that as you say he is the educated, successful son

Hey sheens
To me, ASY character is completely conphujed!!!
I think the CVs are making it up as they go along!!!😆
Between the time thay first showed ASY and now - he has already changed!
At the beginning - did he look like the sort of guy that needed anything or anyone? Well he didnt to me. He had a sort of arrogant independance that whilst being annoying was also commendable
Then why now does this character feel the need, albeit in the name of retribution, to impose himself on his father and his father's family? Where is his his own self esteem, his independance, that should eb saying hell with such a father - we dont need him??
I really enjoyed the court track, first exciting story for ages, but as usual CVS always find it hard to maintain!
If retribution was all ASY wanted - it could have been done from the outside...if it was pain he wanted SS to feel - he could have inflicted it from the outside
But arriving there bori bistra ke saath he lowered himself IMHO
As for his mum - whatthe hell did SS see in her??? No flippin backbone whatsoever!!!😆
Thakuraynia is a million times better - least she speaks back - took a lot of joothe I grant you - but she didnt take shiit from noone!!!
On an aside note - the actress looks way too young as her character...its unreal!!!!🤣

Nice Post😛

Agree he lived his life comfortably and SS supplied all the finances. I think all that ASY really wants deep down inside is acceptance by SS and his family, right now his anger, pain and hurt is making him want to take revenge on SS in anyway possible for all the humiliation and trauma he went thru as a child. He doesn't care who he uses but his goal is to hurt SS. P by coming to him about the case and mentioning that K was SS's son all his suppressed emotions came to the surface and he took the opportunity to retaliate, ethically it's wrong, he should be going after SS and not his family.

From SS's denial that ASY means nothing to him and him allowing them to move into the haveli makes me think that there was more to this relationship than just as boss servant. To me it seems that there was genuine affection between SS and ASY's mom maybe even love, otherwise he wouldn't have got upset with Shakti when he came and eventually let them stay in the haveli. He could have forcibly had them taken care, but he didn't. But his mom is right that by forcing their way into the haveli they are not going to be accepted by any of them and right know that is the furtherest thing in ASY's mind. ASY's mom seems to be a woman who doesn't want to cause problems and accepts things as they are, she is now following her son's lead, don't know if her attitude will change in the future.

Your last question is difficult to answer, to me it seems that ASY is better off without the Thakur attachment he made a name for himself and seems to be well respected as a lawyer. If he had been raised by SS he would have been raised like KN, K and Komal, with the same behavior, thoughts and beliefs. I think we should be thankful for the life we have because it could always be worse.

ASY is totally a confused character where all he seems to do is play the victim card. He only talks about others speaking with respect but forgets that he too should respect others. If his mother did have an affair then the victim is not the mother primary but amma who SS betrayed

ASY and his mother seem forget that their are more victims in this situation besides themselves

Another irony is that ASY got educated with Takur's money whereas SS never spent money on educated his own kids.
Another irony is that ASY has only seen the better side of SS and probably never got beaten. The respect she has for SS is strange for someone who abandoned them and what ASY is fighting for
