Chapter 55
They were all back home after that awesome reception party… Evreyone were so tired still theyhad to do the packing as Arhaan's sisters were going back to their respective places. Arhaan, Pooja along with his mom, dad and dadi was going to Amritsar to fulfill his mom's mannat.
Pooja changed and Arhaan entered in.
Pooja: chalo packing shuru karte hai
Arhaan: pehle change toh karne do…. Waise bhi packing to main karne wala hoon aur tum toh bas dekhne waali ho……
Pooja: Errr………. Tum na….
Naina came in: Pooja zara ye Riddhi ko sambhalna pls… tab tak main aur tumhaare jiju packing kar lenge…
Pooja: haan di.. aap jaao…
Arhaan: ab mera help kaun karega??
Pooja: tum kar lo waise bhi main toh dekhne hi waali hoon (teasing him)
She walked out and he pulled her, " jaa kahan rahi ho??"
Pooja: bahar……. dekho Riddhi ro rahi hai…
Before he could say something she had gone……
He sighed…
After sometime Riddhi stopped crying and she slept off on her shoulders… Pooja was now sitting on the couch in the hall and Rohan came there shouting," Poo mami…." He came and sat near her….
She asked him to talk softly as riddhi was sleeping….
An hour later or so Arhaan came out and saw….. Riddhi on Pooja's shoulders and Rohan sleeping on her laps with she patting him. It was so cute and lovely to watch… a candid camera moment….
He watched them with his shoulders slanting towards the wall for a support.
Pooja looked up and she saw him and asked him in whispers," what??"
Arhaan: time up… chalo abhi……
Just then his sister came and took Riddhi and went… she said sorry for disturbing her.
Arhaan carried a sleeping Rohan to the room…. And when he came to back to his room he saw that Pooja had already slept….
Arhaan: wah mera bhagya… biwi ho toh aisi apne pati ka intezaar tak nahi ki…. aur main saara packing akela karne ke saath saath do ghanton se iska wait kar raha tha…
Pooja cuddled up on her side and he went near her… moved the hair falling on her face and he could not be angry with her too because she was slepping so innocently and cutely. He placed a kiss on her forehead and layed on his side.
It was morning and Arhaan still sleeping….. Pooja got up and she gave the finishing touches to the packing.
Dadi called her and said that today they (ArJa) had to keep a vrath…. They should neither see each other nor should be together the whole day…..
[Actually it was to done to be together forever]
Pooja was totally blank and shocked….. Further dadi said the vrath finished with the pooja of Shiv-Gauri in their ancestral temple there in Amritsar.
Dadi: samajhi??
Pooja (gulping down): ji…. (she thought," saara din Arhaan ko dekhe bina kaise?? She sighed)
Arhaan had got up and he was in the washroom and Pooja had already left with his mom and dadi to airport. He ll be coming with his dad there. His sisters had left early in the morning. Arhaan searched the whole place coming out of the washroom but Pooja was nowhere to be found… he got irritated.
Arhaan to self: Rano bahut badal chuki hai… usse zara bhi khayal nahi mera… pata nahi bina bataaye kahan chali gayi….
He came out dressed and taking his baggages along with him.
DP: chalein agar tum tyaar ho toh…
Arhaan (blank): kya…. Matlab… baaki sab (intending Pooja)
DP: sab jaa chuke hai… hum log hi baaki hai… aur Pooja bhijaa chuki hai….
Arhaan in mind: how could she go without me…. Rano tumne ye achcha nahi kiya..
DP shaked him and he came back to senses. They boarded the taxi and all the way Arhaan was dull. He just could not understand why she went before him.
On the other hand, Pooja in airport was tensed…. She knew he would be very angry by now for leaving and not telling him.
Gayatri: main samajh sakthi hoon beta…..
Pooja: nahi mamma main teek hoon….. par ye vrath toh yahi hai na ki husband and wife sirf night time pe alag-alag rehthe hai….
Gayatri said that the vrath's rules said that the couple should not have physical contact during that time and when you are allowed to meet each other or talk with then its obvious…… and for a newly wed couple its even more tougher….
Pooja: ji mamma main samajhi……….
DP: arre laddoo…. Main ek baat bolna bhool hi gaya…
And he explained about the vrath…. He was like almost fainting….
But what else could he say… he smiled and took it…..
They reached the airport and even inside the flight Pooja was sitting with dadi so Arhaan did not even have the chance of turning that side.
Amritsar…….
They reached home and a warm welcome was given……
Arhaan was given the top room and Pooja the down one……
He threw the bags on a side and thought," what the hel???? Teen din nahi shaadi ke and m away from my wife….. m not even allowed to see her"
He kept blabbering and Pooja who passed that way could hear his blabbers and she could'nt but control laughter…. She took her mobile and called him.
Arhaan (irritated): kya hai??? tumhe meri parvaah hi nahi ab kyun phone kiye…. Bhool gayi na mujhe… jaao… khush raho… main hi to hoon tumhe dekhe bina pagalon ki tarah bak raha hoon…. tumne mujhe yaad bhi nahi kiya hoga na…. (the phone was cut)……..
To himself: Oh no… maine isse pe kyun gussa kiya… kam se kam awaaz toh sun liya ho toh…
He tried but she did not pick… he texted asking sorry… she replied u should be…. He texted that's why I m… now pls pick the cal…. Atleast wld hear u…
