At Pooja's place the haldi rasam was going on and simultaneously it was haldi at Arhaan's place' all their family members making fun of them but both of them lost in each other's thoughts.

Preparations for the evening were in full swing at Pooja's place. Hall had been booked for the Sangeet ceremony. Pooja was in her room surrounded by a person who was designing her hands with the mehendi.

Pooja told the lady: "A" ko aise chupana ki Arhaan ko mushkil ho jaaye doondhne mein'

That's when Arhaan called her..

Pooja: kya hai Arhaan??

Arhaan: arre wah! main tumse yahan baat karne ke liye taras raha hoon aur tum to phone utha the hi aise rudely baat kar rahi ho' main phone rakhtha hoon'

Pooja: teek hai' rakh do waise bhi main mehendi laga rahi hoon mujhe disturb mat karo

Arhaan: tum kitni heartless ho gayi ho' chalo teek hai rakhtha hoon.. waise bhi bahut saare aisi ladkiyan jo mujhse baat karne ke liye tarasti hai' aur meri baatein sun ne ke liye bhi' (wantedly while keeping the phone.. he said) arre haan bhool hi gaya Tina ka phone aaya tha main usse baat bhi nahi kar paya teek se' Bye Rano' I need to talk to her'

Saying so, he disconnected the phone'. Pooja was fuming in anger," maine thoda attitude kya dikhaya ye Tina se baat karega" she tried his phone and his phone was engaged. Pooja was totally raging. Arhaan was simply trying her number knowing that she would call him back and when she calls back his line would be engaged.

It was for almost an hour that Pooja was trying and finally she got his line.

Pooja: ek ghante se tum uss Tina ki bachchi se baat kar rahe ho'.. tumhe thoda pareshaan karne ke liye maine phone rakhne ko kya kaha tumne to Tina ke saath baat kiya' How dare you?? Tum apne paise aise uss ladki ke saath baat kar ke karch karoge'.. blah blah'.

At the other end it was Naina who had attended the phone'" Pooja' baat suno meri"

Pooja: achcha to Arhaan ne mujhse bach ne ke liye aapko phone deke chala gay bhulaayie usse'

Naina: arre thoda shaant to ho jaao meri maa'. Baat ye hai ki phone maine attend kiya isse pehle main kuch boloon tumne to daant na shuru kar diya'

Pooja (embarrassed): sorry di'. Mujhe laga Arhaan hai to'

Naina: hai bhagwan pata nahi mere ladoo ki kya haal hone wali shaadi ke baad'

Pooja: Di please aap usse support mat kijiye usne kaam hi kuch aisa kiya hai'

Naina: jaanti hoon' par tum bhi jaan lo usne kissi se koi baat nahi ki tumne usse pareshaan ke baare mein socha aur usne tumhe'

Pooja understood that he had played prank with her and she had emoted too overly. " Di maine kuch zyaada hi over react kar diya'"

Naina: zyaada nahi mere bhabhi ji bahut hi zyaada' aur waise bhi aap to abhi se apne pati ki paison ki chinta karna bhi shuru kar diya.

Pooja: haq banta hai mera'.

Naina: achcha'.

Pooja: teek hai di' shaam ko milthe hai' Bye

Pooja smiled and kept the phone. Arhaan came to know from his sister all that had happened and he could not contrl his laughter.

It was evening and Pooja's family already at the sangeet hall welcomed Arhaan's family. Pooja was dressed in a beautiful light green lehenga choli with stones studded. It had a broad border which was in light pink color and the color of her dupatta too was light pink color. Her hair style was such that the ends were curled and a clip at the centre taking some hair from the sides without a partition and a perfect maang teeka. Her mehendi filled hands were covered with beautiful matching bangles and with matching accessories she looked truly a princess. Arhaan was wearing a light blue sherwani which perfectly went with her lehenga. He was taken aback looking at her. He could'nt take his eyes off her. He could not wait till the whole function was over. He every now and then tried to go near her and talk to her.

The sangeet started and went on in full swing' both the families dancing in full spirit. Pooja was totally engrossed in her dance. She did not bother too even look at him once. But Arhaan could no more wait' while dancing he went near her and pulled her close to him and whispered into her ears," mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai terrace par aa jaao." Pooja was surprised.

She came up hiding away from the crowd present there. There was no one. She called "Arhaan' Arhaan' kahan ho tum"

Pooja: ye Arhaan bhi pagal hai ek dum.

Suddenly he hugged her from back. Pooja smiled and turned to face him.

Pooja: ab batao kyun bhulaaye mujhe??

Arhaan: wo kya hai na bahut hi zaroori baat karni thi'.

Pooja (serious): kya hai bolo na tension kyun bada rahe ho?

Arhaan (looking at her who seemed very serious thought of playing a little with her): Rano' dekho main apne girlfriend se matlab tumse ek aakhiri baar milna chatha tha' kya hai ki kal meri shaadi jo hai uske baad meri biwi aa jaayegi aur phir tumse to nahi mil paaoonga na'

Pooja: tum aise baat kar rahe ho jaise tumhaari shaadi kisi aur ke saath hone wala hai. (she moved away)

Arhaan (stopped her by catching her hands): main phir se keh raha hoon ye aakhiri baar hai apni girlfriend se milna.. isi liye main tumhe ek aakhiri baar hug aur kiss karna chahtha hoon'

Pooja: tum aise kyun baat kar rahe ho'. (on the verge of crying)

Arhaan: dekho meri hone waali wife thodi possessive hai' bas aaj ke baad to tumse kabhi mil nahi paaoonga'

Pooja started crying'.." mujhe chodke kisse shaadi kar rahe ho tum??"

Arhaan laughing at her," tum ye bhi nahi samajh paayi main tumhaari hi baat kar raha hoon"

Pooja (confused): meri??

Arhaan (putting his hands around her shoulders): ab socho kal shaadi ke baad tum meri wife ho jaaogi aur wife kabhi bhi girlfriend nahi ho sakthi'.. you know har girl wife ban ne ke baad na bahut hi nak chadi si ho jaati hai'

Pooja: to main nak chadi hoon??

He ran and she ran behind him' at one point when Pooja could run no more she sat catching her legs acting as though she had got hurt. Arhaan came near her asking what happened. She caught him by his ears," tumhaari girlfriend, wife, dost' sab main hi hoon' samajhe"

Arhaan: chodo ab to dard ho raha hai'.

Pooja: achcha ab bahut ho gayi baatein chalo ab sab doondhthe honge hume'

She moved towards the door when he pulled her and she came very closer to him. Her left hand around his waist and right hand on his chest while his both hands tightly clutching her waist. She felt his warm breath on her' her cheeks turned red and eyes shook off. His eyes gazed at her.

Arhaan: asli baat to abhi hua hi nahi' he lifted her face and kissed her. her hands tightly gripped his waist.

Pooja: ab chalein'..

Arhaan had no mind of leaving her but had no other option too.
