Chapter 54

Arhaan and Pooja at Pooja's place now. Her mom and dad sense that they have had a fight.

Ashok: mujhe tumse ye umeed nahi thi Arhaan…. (with an angry look)

Arhaan: arre papa…. Maine kya kiya??

Ashok: tumne jagada kiya na Pooja se??

Arhaan: haan…nahi….woh (he struggled to say yes… at last looking down) haan. I m sorry par isne kaam hi kuch aisa kiya toh… par pakka maine usse daanta bhi na….. bas usse poocha….

Pooja (knowing that her dad is supporting her raised her voice): jhoot papa bilkul jhoot… isne mujhe bahut sunaaya….

Arhaan: Rano don't take advantage haan…. Jhoot kyun bol rahi ho??

Ashok: ek minute….. Arhaan beta meri beti buddhu hai ye main jaanta hoon… par main sirf kehne waala tha ki agar tum shaadi ke pehle din hi ladna shuru karoge to future main bahut problems aayenge…. U need to save ur few words that you are or you will be speaking…….

Pooja: papa………Errr….. aap aur aapka damad….

Arhaan started laughing as her dad took his side.

Pooja was in the kitchen helping her mom in preparing lunch and in between there was small silly fights between ArJa as usual.

Aki: jiju aap kab nikhal rahe ho ghar ke liye??

(So the plan was Pooja will get ready from her home and Arhaan from his home for their Reception party which is to be held in a famous hotel in Mumbai.)

Arhaan: bas lunch ke baad nikhalna hai….

Pooja, the moment she heard that he was going to leave after lunch she became dull as she did not even want to be away from him for a single minute. Atleast she wanted to convince him before he leaves.

It was time for lunch and the table was arranged. Aki was about to sit next to Arhaan when Pooja hinted him to leave that chair for her. He smiled and moved to the next one. She came and happily sat next to him. He stared and turned his face away from her but she did not mind. The lunch was over with Pooja keeping on apologizing him in all possible ways.

Arhaan was in the room looking out the window and she patted on his back.

Arhaan: tum??? Phir aa gayi…. Tum mujhe akela kyun nahi chod thi….

Pooja: jab tak tum mujhe maaf nahi karte tab tak nahi chodoongi (and hugged him tightly)

Arhaan could not retract but still made his mind hard moved away from her.

Pooja (to herself): tumhe kaise manaana ye main achchi tarah se jaanti hoon.

Arhaan: dekho follow mat karo mujhe… leave me alone.

Pooja came and stood before him… she started looking at him. He too could not avoid looking at her, her beautiful eyes….. They had a cute eye lock which Arhaan broke and started looking here and there, he said, " dekho tum…. (before he could complete)

She pulled him by his collar and place a deep intense kiss on his cheeks quivering his body from top to toe.

Pooja: sorry… please maaf kar do (catching her ears)

Arhaan felt short of words and he had to bow down after that bribe from her.

She smiled at him shyly and left the room.

Arhaan still in his dreamland, touched his cheeks and smiled.

It was evening and Pooja was getting ready for her reception. Arhaan had left hours back.

Pooja was in a silver colored sari decorated and embroidered stones all over. The blouse was a dark grey one with 3/4ths sleeves and the sleeves in a net material with embroideries. She was looking perfect for that evening with matching accessories and her hair ending with curls. She had put her hair in the front flaunting her unblemished back.

Arhaan was no less. He was in a beautiful grey suit with a white shirt inside the court which perfectly comlimented her sari.

Arhaan's family arrived first to the party hall and Arhaan was the eye candy of all. He was handsome, smoking hot in that suit. Girls present were going weak on their knees. He was waiting for Pooja with his eyes constantly on the entrance. Many girls ran over to him and clicked away pictures with him. Pooja and her family entered in but they could see Arhaan nowhere. He was surrounded by girls.

She was with the family and noticed that girls crowd… she was now sure that it was Arhaan who was there.

She did want to go there and she asked DP (Arhaan's dad) to call Arhaan to stage as it was already time.

That was when he noticed that she had come. Pooja looked beautiful but it was Arhaan who stole the show today. Pooja looked at Arhaan with wide opened eyes and mouth. She could not take eyes off from her hubby dearest.

Simi: Pooja…. Mooh to bandh karo…

Pooja closed her mouth instantly and she was embarrassed and she looked down smiling thinking, " how stupidly she behaved"

Pooja: thanks di….

Simi: mera bhai aaj bahut handsome hai na…. (she quickly went to him and placed a kala tikka on the back of his ears… she shispered in his ears) dekh teri biwi totally fida hai tujh par.

Arhaan quickly turned to see her and Pooja who had been looking at till now turned away… He gave that naughty killer smile and started to welcome the guests onto the stage. Tina was the next person on the stage to wish them. Pooja's BP raised seeing her….She ws like, " OMG!!!! Aaj mere Arhaan ko isse bachcha lo…. Pehle se hi Arhaan itna hot, handsome…."

Tina gave her Pooja a forma hug and wished her. When it came to Arhaan,s he hugged closely and wished him. She complimented him saying he looked handsome and whispered," aaj toh har ladki maregi tum par Arhaan…. If you are ok then am ready to be secret girlfriend". Arhaan was embarrassed and Pooja was raging with anger. She was taking fast deep breaths.

Arhaan looked at her with the corner of his eyes.

The photo session was over. Everyone were engrossed in a conversation in their group. Arhaan and Pooja were alone in a corner of the hall. Arhaan holding her with his hands around her waist. Pooja was lost in him but did not want him to know (and this is where the female ego steps in).

Pooja: chodo mujhe… (thinking he would make his grip more tight as always so that she could be in his arms without him knowing her intentions too)

Arhaan left her to her dismay and she was totally blank. All the family members surrounded them and started laughing.

NAina: kya Ladoo tu bhi…. Ladkiyon ki language mein chodo matlab pakdo hota hai…. kyun Pooja??

Others along with them was laughing Arhaan too and Pooja was totally embarrassed…. She ran towards the lawn.

She took a deep breath and smiled to herself. Arhaan was in the dining area which was visible from the lawn and she admired, adored him…. she thought to herself," how crazy she had been about him??" she realized how madly in love she was with him…. She shooked down in blush and she heard someone calling her at that time for dinner.

She was walking towards the dining area when someone pulled her behind the wall. Who else…… it was Arhaan. Holding her tightly, her chest pressing against his, their lips mere inches far away.

Arhaan: liya na badla…. (his lips touched hers when he spoke)

Pooja could say nothing but look down. He lifted her chin and caressed it lovingly with the tip of his thumb. In no moment, they were engrossed in a kiss. He clutched her hips tightly and she ran her fingers through his hair.
