Thanx for sharing Muskaan! Very sad to hear that these kind of things still exist. And i was thinking we had established atleast SOME equality between men and women. Its unbelievable how people still think these days. Very shameful in laws, even more shameful the girls own family and the most shameful would be the girls husband who did not support her in a hard time like this. Anyways, hats off to you Muskaan for your great effort in helping Kesar and to Kesar for living through all the injustices. I am truly very happy for her now.

Agreed...Social injustice is found in all over India...

it's really sad that in 21 century where girls r reach to moon and in india some people r still far behind as far as their cheap mentality is concern that type of people is educated too and doing this type of cheap work just for they want boy heir so that their generation runs successfuly and in case of birth of girl they think that girls r parai sampatti.who have no rights on parents house as heir.
Why the hell they don't think that without girls how can they shift their generation to next level if all people want boys as a heir.
Hats off to u muskaan for ur guts 👏

Thanks Parisa, Sheena, Dhanya Di and Vikram...

Hopefully someday someone will ask the question...if girl babies were not allowed to live then how do these people believe their grandson is going to have a child of his own some day?

Social conditioning messages have to change and to do that people must start thinking for themselves and not buy into what family or social environment imposes on them.

The greed for a boy destroyed a girl's life but still she is happy today...😊

Does the dude even realize he's responsible for the gender of the baby and not the woman? 🤔

Thnx Muskan for sharing this eye-opener.
I appreciate ur brave act of motivating that unfortunate lady to protest. See, such heinous crimes of female foeticide r very commonplace & these murders r committed in cold blood. You can find plenty of Kesars in every nook n corner of our country. It's not only sad but shameful n disguting too. Our govt n the legal machinery find itself helpless in dealing with the culprits.
The so called feminist lobbies r ineffective too because they r busy fighting over petty matters (like whether or not it is appropriate to use the word sexy for a woman?, whether or not a woman should change her surname after marriage?, why don't we have a chair-woman when we have a chair-man in institutions? why not mother of the nation when we hv father of the nation? to sample a few) & their battles r mostly confined to some regular columns of mags n newspapers. Enforcing laws is the last thing u can expect from a columnist.
I hope n pray for a positive change in the mindset of people.

Thanks for sharing. You did a good job in advising that girl. Hats Off to you. I cannot believe how can her own parents ask her to kill her daughter. It is because of illiteracy. Girls should be educated so that these kinds of things does not happen. I heard that male population is increasing and female population is decreasing in India because of aborting baby girls even before they are born.

I dont think so as most of them dont...
Even if they come to know this fact, they will never accept it due to their MALE ego...

Very well said Razza bhai...
I was so shocked when the girl's mother instead of supporting her daughter, supported her in laws...
