Hi...friends…I am here to share a real incident that took place with a woman rather a girl residing in my apartment when I was in Assam…I don't want to publish her name so I would refer her as Kesar as her story is very much in tune with Kesar in our MKAP…
She came to me crying…She was just 23 so we shared a good relation and I considered as my elder sis…She was married 2 years back… means at the age of just 21…
I took her to my room and calmed her down…
She told me that she was pregnant but on finding that she is carrying a girl child, her in-laws took her for an abortion in the name of a ritual to a Sadhu baba….😡😡
As the abortion was done prematurely and unscientifically…she became a victim of ill health and she lost the capacity of being a mother for her whole life….
She was crying like anything and moreover I was alone at my house…
To be very frank, I just felt like slapping her husband but I anyhow controlled myself…
After a while, I told her to leave that house and file a police complaint against her in laws…
This made her a bit shocked…
She told me that against whom shall I file the complaint..?? She told that when I called my mother that these people want to kill my daughter...she told that my in laws are right as giving birth to a daughter is a burden and a daughter cannot take the family ahead….
I was even more frustrated at this…how can a mother advice her daughter to abort her child..????
Is this people call a mother's love..??
Anyways…I encouraged her to rebel against this and she did…
She left the house and today she is doing a job and living in her OWN house as her maternal family refused to take her back….
Being an ardent fan of MKAP, I just thought of sharing this with you all friends….
I am proud that I could help a girl in this way….
