A mysterious figure stands facing the dhaba holding a flaming torch. Nope he isn't an Olympian athlete at all. The man reveals himself to be none other than the local paan spitting gunda, who hasn't learned anything after getting beaten to a pulp by Krishna on two separate occasions. He makes Angadwa look like a prince. Wonder who's going to give him his prasadi this time around! After setting the Dhaba ablaze, he spews his paan and smiles with joy like the famous resident of Hades.😈
Krishna receives am alarming call from his chef about the flaming Dhaba in the middle of the night. He and Prats rush out after alerting the family about the mishap. When the young couple arrives at the site of the Dhaba, Krishna desperately rushes forward to save the flaming structure but T/C manage to hold him back while Prats does her part and reminds Krishna he can't save the burning building on his own. Has Prats now decided to give mini-baashans ever so often rather than one loooong lecture? It appears we hear too many of them these days.
SS rounds up his family but KN would rather sleep and it's his bauji's tongue lashing that wakes him up. Lounging in his chair, grooming himself in public, eating a hearty meal and sleeping seems to tire KN a lot these days. Everyone including the pregnant Kesar, the matriarch GD, the freeloader Kesamma and Piasisya arrive with SS at the site of flaming Dhaba. Why is SS's guard rushing forward with his rifle in hand😆? It's not like SS is going to tell him to shoot someone there? 😛😆
While a few men are throwing water in little hand held containers it's SS's presence of mind that gets things moving. He orders Chandu to call the fire brigade to come and put out the flames. Tunna finds a truck parked across the street. How convenient😛😆! Krishna springs into action, takes control of the water truck from the drunken driver and puts out the flames of the Dhaba. Couldnt' they have addressed this social message more responsibly ........ to show a scene with people that close to a blazing structure tackling flames without protective and precautionary safety gear can result in fatal wounds or severe burns.
Amma laments she can't understand who's evil eye set her Baba's Dhaba ablaze 😲as she watches with the rest of the family, the charred pieces of the building fall to the ground.
The entire family looks on in shock as Krishna picks up the charred pieces of his Dhaba devastated that his dreams have been burnt to ashes. In the past he has proven he is a daring man ready to face any obstacle, the proud and confident son of Takur SS. Granted he is in shock, but just to give Prats a ban jayeeeee moment is it really necessary to show him as someone ready to give up on his dreams after a mishap? Is this part of the new characterization of Krishna bec' the self-confident man of the early days is seriously missing. SS consoles him that nothing has been destroyed, that their courage and trust has not been broken, he is there for Krishna and they will rebuild again.👏 Amma promises they'll all work together and rebuild his Dhaba.😲🤔So beautiful to see unity in adversity among the Takurs.
Prats for her part serves Krishna a healthy dose of Prats's protein (brand name: Baashan)….that his Dhaba will be rebuilt and inaugurated as planned tomorrow. SS blesses Prats that seems to trigger her to stand up to give her Prats ban jayeeeee talk>>>> "Now no one can stop us from building this Dhaba." Alright! Now that her procolamation has been made rest assured the Dhaba is going to get an extreme makeover in 12 hours. Phew😳! What a relief! We will be spared a few more weeks of Krishna looking for another idea for making a living.👏
As the sun rises we are forced to begin the day with the Saxes gathering around the dining table. Either Shamu is doing a new form of meditation or he is beginning his day in his usual pareshaan mode. Talk about ruining someone's mood first thing in the morning😳. Adarsh enters the living room with background music that sounds like a missle has just been launched😆. What's up with that?😲😕
Shamu strikes up a conversation with Adarsh. He wants to know why Adarsh came home drunk last night and what other surprises he has in store for them😕. Adarsh stands up to Shamu "Papa you're making an issue out of it, it's not uncommon to have a few drinks at the boss's party. Why are you worried, you've already distanced me from the family so I'm doing what I want to do". Ouch! Not at all what Shamu or the older folks expected to hear. Naina who's seething in silence decides to take Adarsh to task and gives him a good dressing down for his behavior towards sanskaari Shamu. Shamu decides to speak to Adarsh indirectly addressing him as "your son" to Naina " this situation is such that I am asking questions I shouldn't ask of my son. Why would he be ashamed when it's not a big deal to him to drink alcohol? He's not going to regret his actions as he's all grown up now. Therefore he doesn't care about your wishes, your thinking or position. He is working and seeing the world out there now, he knows right from wrong so let him do what he does. If Adarsh cares even a little about the family's respect then he better go with the rest of the family to the grand opening of the Dhaba. " Phew! He had to get his baashan in there now didn't he? Really sticking it to Adarshwa. Wonder how he'd react when he hears his son is now also a corrupt bank officer.🤔 a tsunami alert maybe?
Shamu tells Naina "Today is an auspicious day for us for OUR Krishna is inaugurating his Dhaba and we've been invited. You didn't faint, did ya? Yes you read it right! Shamu did say Our Krishna. Now that Adarsh has been alienated from the family they need someone they can call son. KN is far from it, he insults their sentiments and intelligence on many levels. Krishna is the closest to a son they are ever going to find in their inner family circle. Will we finally see him get more than a cuppa chai, maybe a full meal that a damadh deserves?😉😛
Prats calls Papa Shamu to inform him the Dhaba had burned down overnight so the inauguration has been postponed. She assures him with the workers and the family pitching in they will be ready in time for the grand opening later in the day. Shamu offers the help of the entire Sax family. Sounds like POPS are celebrating Good Friday by getting the two families to put their differences aside and work together as a team for just a day or two.
Krishna is upset with Prats for believing it's possible to get the Dhaba rebuilt and ready for business by the end of the day. He is also superstitious about staying at that location after the fire. He doesn't see the Dhaba opening tonight as a real possibility and just wants to cop out and go home. He is on a negative spiral arguing with Prats that it's impossible to get it all done by the end of the day. Maybe! But not if you have enough hands to pitch in to get it done. Prats counteracts it with a mini-baashan that he can't lose courage when there are a few bumps along the way and there is no room for superstition as God created man to turn every inauspicious occurrence into an auspicious one🤔. If we work together we can get it done. Will we ever hear a normal conversation between this couple without Prats giving him a speech for most part? This is way too much for an overwhelmed Krishna to process, he is just ready to throw in the towel, call it a day and head home😕.
BTW, what is a pregnant Kesar doing standing there in a burnt out building, she needs to be out of there for safety's sake. Komal and the other characters are all standing around in attention while Amma and SS are trying to convince Krishna that Dhaba can be built in a day. It's not like they are building Rome now is it?😉😛
Amma tells Krishna to give up the hopeless talk and reiterates Prats's assertion that together they'll all get it done. SS steps up to add to the reinforcements in a language that Krishna understands well ……. Why won't it happen, it's "MARDONWALI BAAT" and it will get done. Your wife (AKA MARDHANA AURAT) is ready to step in and you want to bail out?😲 Let's hope Krishna gets moving and gets things done on time.
Just when SS rolls up his sleeves to get to work half asleep Mr. Bayil Buddhi tells him not to give Krishna false hope 'cos it ain't gonna happen😕. What a treat to watch SS challenge KN 👏⭐️"why won't it happen when we are so many of us here". Got to love his positive attitude!👏 True to his word he is ready to do anything for his Baba. He rails into KN for his discouraging talk, gives him a tongue lash and puts him back to work.😆 KN can do some hard labor after all those months of lazing around and help his brother out. Put Kesamma to work too, that will at least temporarily stop her from meddling in Takur matters.😛 Now that Arusi is there to lend a helping hand will KN be back to making mischief with her right under Kesamma and Kesar's noses?🤔
Prats puts T/C to work giving them their orders for getting supplies. While Prats and the rest of the family get busy, Krishna the royal prince of Takur Niwas is standing there staring into space, what's cooking in that mind of his?😕 Someone's got to tell Krishna and Komal to move it and get busy when time is of the essence instead of standing there like a statue doing nothing.😛
Preview: With a emergency makeover in the works they can use all the hands they can get to pitch in with the rebuilding. Today it's Prats contractor ban jayeeeeeeeeeeee. Krishna is busy moping around in shock and Prats takes charge. She promises Krishna to get the Dhaba ready for the grand opening by the end of the day. Looks like everyone is going to be hanging out at the Dhaba all day till it's up and running. What's up with Naina showing up to lend a hand to cleanup a burnt building dressed up like she's shooting an ad for paints while Shamu supervises her work😕? Adarsh and Arusi are seen loitering around, someone put these two onlookers to work pronto. SS gets a hand from Shamu as he carries a sack on his back. Looks like Shamu is going for the supervisory roles rather than hard labor. Seriously is this the place for Kesar to be lounging? The rebuilding in earnest begins tomorrow, two families coming together for a common cause that's worth supporting.
