Tanthya nice post. You really analysed the kriya relationship. Your writing is very good. Now in some of your point i don;t agree withu at all. As u said in yr starting post itself some will have disagreement that is true. see all people don;t think alike right. so it is just my POV.
First i don;t think that Krishna is a henpecked husband. sorry i a using eng word. i cann;t literally spell the hindi word. See from the beginning we have seen he loves pratigya. it is the love at first sight and he is that kind of person who believes if he liked one he has to get it. when his parents told him it is just a attraction use it and then leave it. but he was not like that he wanted to marry her. She objected that she never loved him in the first. so it was a challenge to him. nobody did that to him then he wanted to achieve and he did. but then he realised she is hating him and he didn;t know the reason. He has to fight a lot to get her love and any man who loves and who gets married then struggle to get the lady love will do anything for her. they repeatedly showed many instances where krishna didn;t agree with Pratigya and he mishandled her and how many times he hurt her with wordsand emtions. does a henpecked husband do that. see i have seen in several post people mention krishna is now listening to prats the cv's made krishna so etc etc. but they have showed lot of scenes which definitely showed he is the boss of himself. Now supporting prats who will support her other than him in that house the only support she has is GD and Kesar and we all know how much they will talk. without him it will be difficult for her and he loves her. this is called unconditional love. this love of krishna is what we all love.
Now abt prats knowing things. i think she is helping him . since now she knew he is more interested she is trying to help she also knew he will do anything for her. so she is using that.
Now abt their chemistry. i think still they have the chemistry. u may be disagree and some people will think like me. see now their love is different. they know each other and respect each other. now they r talking to each other. before it is like one will burst out and other will walk away. see when u r in marriage both the people have to share things and adjust for each other. communciation is the main thing. before it was not all there. now they r slowing coming to that point. The early days of marriage is different from 3,4 years of marriage. i know for kriya it is not that much years. i understand that. see first he had to get her love now he knows she loves her and she is wtih him. Even now their eyes and little smiles speak a lot of things atleast for me. i think other thing is after their SR and their journey together we expect more. so our expectation from them is more and when tehy don;t come to our expectation we think it is not clicking and all that. see expectations is also a major thing for this. see before we were all like when will she acknowledge her love to him. why she is doing it and all. inside we al ll know why she was behaving like that. we knew that nothing is going to happen soon. but now everyday we dream of a kriya scene and think this will happen or that and when that don;t come to our standard we feel like oh no they r missing something. it is my POV.
Anyway i said my POV and i still feel their magic.

Hi Tanth
I think that after Kriya's SR, they were put on a back burner, and we haven't seen many intense scenes of them, cos its been one silly predicament after another, so they have their ups and downs.

its as if the cvs are afraid to break away from the mold of traditional indian dramas, but if they let themselves pull away from typical mode, krishna could be the man he should be rather than a man with no particular aspirations, cos uneducated ppl don't just sit in their bedrooms all day, and pratigya could be less rigid in her outlook toward life, and let her guard down more, someone we could relate to even, and continue with her writing.

AS for the chemistry, we've had a few really nice kriya scenes, but whilst focus is on another character/s, their scenes have been toned down, but i'm sure that if the cvs wish, kriya could still give us plenty of sizzle, but i'd also like to see P make a move now and then😉
We did have the nice bathroom scene, and when K asked P to wear just his shirt, and i wonder if ppl found it OTT for tv, cos those scenes were great.
I loved the dhaba scene when K was daydreaming, and we got to hear the new bg song, so i think there'll be more kriya chemistry in store for us, the intensity is still there.

First off take a bow Sathya - for having the inclination and jigar to say it like it is.... i for one am in total agreement with you and can honestly say you have put into words very eloquently what I have been feeling for ages but has been glaringly obvious in the last few episodes...

somewhere along the line the dynamics have changed...

I have no idea if A and P ever worked hard to make magic the way they did or whether it simply just happened....but right now they work together effortlessly with all the comfort, ease and familiarity that for me renders them more like brother and sister, or even just good mates rather than husband and wife

I realise that this statement will no doubt be offensive to many, as its a fine line to appreciate in all honesty

I will also postulate my theory that the bigger culprit is the character P, who whilst very honourably and magnanimously praises her husband and the fact that she now, (how tiresome) trusts him more than herself again, she is really good at somehow remaining emotionally detached from Krishna more than she is emotionally attached to being an idealist.

Like just about everyone here, I too am no different in absolutely loving this jodi and the actors themselves, which is why the absence of sparks and chemistry is so regrettable...

POPs have to take responsibility for this and understand that the viewers of this show are not a bunch of twits to whom you can throw a morsel of "Kriya" and we will roll over and settle down like good little puppies

I can also see that there are many married women on this thread like me, but am amazed at how different our views are...😲

being in a settled stable loving relationship does not mean a lack of chemistry, far from it!!!😊

It is precisely in such a relationship, speaking as a woman, that you feel empowered to express yourself fully, surrender yourself entirely, explore, and maybe even embrace, new things and experiences wholeheartedly, because you bask in the knowledge that he loves you utterly and completely - warts, bhashans and all.....

So please POPs, gimme a break and quit all this fake shock and outrage on P's part every time her man expresses his desire to be close......in fact surprise us by showing some reality for a change.....

women can be as up for it as men, and do not need to feel ashamed...love is a 2-way street...we dont all just have to lie back and think of England, India or Timbuktu for that matter...

We dont have to lie back at all, we can get on top and call the shots!

( i was gonna say crack the whip but decided not to....)🤣

Girlpower!!!!!!!!

Thanks Sathya again for a fab post!!!!!!

Thank You Laks ..

Laks, I said Krishna has become weak , his intelligence squashed, his strong personality being diluted, His smartness gone for a toss, His charismatic presence vanished ...You are saying he is not a henpecked husband...did he ever give the impression that he was !!

Secondly , Listening to Prats and supporting her is not the issue...I think I have already dealt with this in my previous posts ..and as another poster Yemi pertinently put. I'll quote her here..

" Pratigya can't be a walking encyclopedia for her hubby when she's not shown to have any outside interest or intellectual curiousity for her own self growth - or are they trying to say she learned everything possible during her stay at the university ? she's not reading books or newspapers... or watching the news.... or browsing the internet etc etc.... so where is all her up-to-date worldly knowledge coming from?"

For a woman who does not step out, who has no connection apart from her family [ and we know how clever they are !!]..who has no means of knowing the current happening, trends , styles ... She is supposed to be better acquainted with ground realities rather than A street Smart, keen observing, practical, shrewd Krishna who is always roaming around and is found in various cafes and restaurants ..He is uneducated not retarded ...in many ways Krishna is vastly intelligent than Pratigya..Pratigya has bookish knowledge while Life has taught Krishna ..and hence his total lack of original thinking is a surprise !!

I do not agree with ur concept of unconditional love !!

Exactly ..Laks..Communication is the key ... communication is a 2 way street ..but here it is more like an discourse and counseling ...

Sorry Laks, I do not dream of KRIYA scene everyday ..I want a scene that is interwoven into the episode , has quite a emotional undertone , touches ur chord instead of the 2 min magic scene , which vanishes in the blink of an eye, which appears contrived [ as if put there to appease the Kriya lubbers and to maintain the TRP ] ...You See Laks , I resent the fact that the CV's think that , show the viewer's KRIYA [needed or not, ill-conceived, badly executed ] and they will hang on to the serial ... We will not be taken for granted will we !!

I thought I was the only one who felt that. Their scenes have become run of the mill and the sparks just gone :\ Even the last Kriya scene had Pratigya telling Krishna to sleep early. Is that all being a wife is about? Telling your husband to go to sleep and wake up. She's become such a boring wife.
