The return of the real Khiladi pays off

The return of the ultimate Khiladi Akshay Kumar in the fourth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi- Torchaar on Colors got the channel its highest TRP. The show launched on June 3 with a rating of 3.7 which is the highest rating for the show compared to its previous seasons.

The first season of the show that was telecast on Sony TV had opened with 1.6. However post which the show was telecast on Colors and its second season on the channel gained an opening of 2.9. However the channel wanted some change in its third season for which female host Priyanka Chopra was roped in. But the ratings dropped to 2.4 and even the audience could not connect with the female host. However the channel brought in the face of the show Akshay Kumar for the fourth season and this got them a rating of 3.7 which is the highest opening rating ever for the show.

I am sure you must have seen the article on KKK4 in the previous page, which shows the ratings from aMap.
