Hmmm..I kinda remember a scene wherein Krishna will be taunted for his unemployed status by his parents ..and Pratigya says that she cannot bear watching him getting insulted despite the fact that Amma n SS had valid points ...we were very appreciative of P ..weren't we..But If Komal defends her husband, It becomes a fault ..As you so rightly say ..Why this biased opinion
..What happens is ..we kind of associate a fixed image to certain characters and try to affix their actions into the already set mould..even If Komal were to do the good thing ..the negative connotation associated with her character will give a grey shade to her actions ..whereas If Pratigya were to do the same ..we would applaud saying that although Pratigya could not cook early ..she did not allow her hubby to be humiliated by his parents again by giving him the apple...It is how one views the character ,,and ur views will have a bearing on how u interpret the characters action's
it shoud not be based on the actor's acting alone to like a character or hate a character.but with the real intentions n emotions within.
You have a point..we should try to see the intentions of the character ..rather than on the actor ..but u see , one depends on the Actor to bring out the character..and when The Actor fails , The character too fails..That is the reason for the singular lack of sympathy to Sax's..
i always like how nainaji adjusted for Komal's not making food for him, she don't poison him by saying she is not a good wife n things like tht... there we should see a mom's concern n not the actor.

Again..here I differ ..SS had already said that Kesar should be made to stay her of her own free will and she will not stay here ..cos she has changed ..and he had also said that we have to change the tactics of the war ..We want our Grand Son to stay her, So we have to wage a war on her emotion's..and That is what he did ..he waged a war ..Kesar succumbed to it ..Even y'day he made it clear that it was the potha who was most important ..so His drama was consistent with his intention ..Now lets see The Saxena's..On one hand..when Kesar is in hospital after miscarrying her child [with no harm to her or her psyche ]..Saxena urges Pratigya to lodge a police complaint ..saying crime should be questioned ,FIR is the right thing to do...but the Self Same Saxena will himself go to the station and withdraw the case against Jai Mathur, A Boy who quite possibly had handicapped his only Son , had disabled a bread winner ..A boy who has not shown rmorse ..and all bec of a allince..where was the right thing to do bit now ... This Babs is hypocrisy cos he advocates one thing for others but he himself follows another ...
Hopefully kesar n the child will be safe.If SS's intentions r truly good,thn this play may be forgiven,if he can control KN in all his actions.Once GD cautioned SS " WE sow, what we reep",but still he doen't understand the meaning.... something really bad is coming on his way.

People go to court to get justice..The Judge and lawyers don't come to you and offer their pearls of wisdom ..I feel that the Cv's are so focused on showing a strong Pratigya , that they give her wrong dialogues ...dialogues which can be interpreted as meddling, interfering and insensitive ..I am glad to know that they are altering this image of P..
Thakurs r not so very different from Saxena's, only difference is Thakurs r entertaining n saxena's cries out for everything. but both r hypocrites... [ no comparison acting wise] CV's wanted to show different lifestyles of families in society... Saxena's r not cunning ppl, ateast Shyam saxena n nainaji....and ofcourse Pratigya.
Here again ..perception's differ ..Thakur's do everything to keep his family intact , treat them as adults and at the same time give them freedom whereas Sax try to control their children, talk about usool and are the first one's to break it when it is convenient [here Pratigya is the exception apart from the Angad Blip]...Saxena's are not cunning people..But are unrealistic people and impractical people
Pratigya , yesterday she spoke sense n she didn't poked her nose in kesar's decision...she was quite n understanding[something like how she accepted K for family, here Kesar accepted KN for her mother]
