May 5th - A so-so episode for me.
Ahh... this Amma. Just when she thinks she's won, K and P turn the tables on her. With each passing moment during K's grovelling, she could see her plan to run to SS and prove that she was right about her baba, fading away. The expressions passing over her face during the hug were priceless. And even better were the ones when she kicked the key. Honestly, this woman is truly a vindictive *****, to try and use her son's failure for her own gain. Will Prats even consider sharing what she's now seen twice (how convenient there was a mirror there for Prats to see Amma kicking the keys), with Krishna even if he's likely to dismiss it? Or will she go solo in her mission to try and unmask Amma (if she doesn't reveal herself before that)?
I don't get Adarsh. Of all the people you could have said loaned you money, why give your Papa's name, knowing there was no way in hell he would lie for you. Maybe you thought that when he said he'd shop his own son over if he committed a crime, he was joking. And the AC officer had a point. Since you worked in a bank why not put the money into a savings account or investment under a false name? At least you'd have some money at the end of your jail term for the flat in Civil Lines. Some criminal you are.
What was it with Krishna's dialogue when he spoke to Prats about 'not to be beaten by such happenings' be brave and face it head on'? There's her talking about her papa and he's responding with words that are completely out of context. Was there a typo in the script or something or did he memorise the wrong part and no one picked up on it? Was he giving us a taster of the sort of dialogues he'll be saying in the future? Let's nope not!
Well, there you have it Prats and Papa. If ever you needed more proof that Adarsh is lost to you (at least for a while), and the only thing he regrets is being born into the Sax's household, you're going to get it. Prof, he's just roped you in on his crime and told the both of you exactly what he thinks of your principles and is begging SS to get him out by any means. Must say Ankit played all his scenes well. And AS of course was a sight for sore eyes.
CV's its time to get in touch with a marketing consultant for more ideas. I mean seriously is the only way to attract customers to give away free food? How about attracting parties, events or family gatherings?? Get T and C to hand out leaflets, menu cards, tasters. And please have K, T or C come up with some of the ideas instead of Prats. Have Krishna seek SS's help regarding PR (he's a pro at it) and if Prats has a problem, that's her problem. I want baba to take the reins of his dhaba and make the decisions since it is HIS dhaba.
I so hope that Krishna doesn't speak up for Prats when SS blasts her about her principles (wishful thinking I know). Especially as we know that Krishna only apologised to her because he can't bare to see her upset/angry at him. It had nothing to do with him agreeing to her principles. Prats can and should defend herself. Amma may be reeling from failing to get Krishna to quit the dhaba but she's pleased as punch that she'll no longer have to hear Prat's praises from SS's mouth (for now anyway, until a similar situation like baba going into business, arises).
