That is exactly what I say ..Aarushi is not the sort of person to take such a decision..she is a coward ..takes the easy way out for her to go and place her head into the lion's head is not believable...I would have understood had she stood petrified when Shakthi marries her ..but her going and taking hold of his hand and dragging him to the pandal ...simply stretches it too far..

Pratigya is not the type to let go esp if it concerns her maika ...It would have been believable that she tried and tried and the ensuing interference causes a crack in the relationship between the sisters ..and even the sax maintaining a distance...In other words . I would have liked to see Pratigya cutting her umblical cord and growing up , growing into KRIYA relationship ... also would have loved to see her getting subtle instead of bulldozing her way..

wonderful post, tanthya. if pratigya still proves to arushi that aman has an existing wife, arushi would understand. i wonder why neither pratigya, krishna, or his pals who know the truth are not bothered to get the correct info to her even now.

arushi is right now justified in feeling angry and betrayed by pratigya since she doesn't know the truth. i don't understand the great negative vibe she's generated here. to me, in her eyes, her anti-pratigya feeling is justified.

pratigya neither wants to present the right evidence to her sister, nor fight for kesar. all her ham handed interference has done is brought pain to her father, mother, sister, husband, herself and her in-laws - not to mention destroyed her nut of a sister's life.

and some people on this forum want to know why pratigya is hated!

From day one..we have been made aware of the fact that Pratigyaji is a educated girl indirectly implying she is smart,strong,intelligent Girl ..But her Track record has belied this fact so far..she is an idealistic girl without an iota of Practicality, She is concerned about doing right and fighting for right except when it concerns her Maika ...her fight for justice is appreciable but it would have been admirable had she shown an ounce of reality when she set about doing the right thing..

As u say, I too do not have any problems with Aarushi or her stance..as for as she is concerned , she was headed for a glorious future , living with a loving Husband ..and a cultured house when her sis without offering any proof suddenly materializes and destroys her dreams , making her the laughing stock of Allahabad... .It is quite natural for a emotional girl like Aarushi to think this is the end of the world ..and this feeling is enhanced by the moaning of Sax...It is also quite natural for a immature girl like Aarushi to pin this on Pratigya ..and hate her..I simply do not understand Y Aarushi shud blindly trust her Sister and not her Parents ..who blindly trusted Aman ..IS it Aarushi's fault that she reposed faith on her parents..isn't that what every good kids do ...Her parents came up cropper and so did Pratigya ...

Pratigya being eduacted shud know that Aarushi is hurting and angry and the only way it can be alleviated is by showing proof and offering it to her and leaving the decision to her ..I simply do not understand Y Pratigya is not doing this and is pleading adn begging her Sister ..

I see it from the other side of this debate. Doesn't Arusia want to know the truth one way or the other? SCAM is a man she trusted more than her family and sister as she herself told him one day after Prats and Krishna came to her with the "story". For her own curiosity and so that she doesn't get taken in by anyone else again, wouldn't she want to find out what the truth is? One way or the other find out whether the sister she trusted all her life and couldn't make decisions without her input with even silly matters as buying a dupatta could really do such grave harm to her at all.

Arusia was always a dimwit, she spoke and then thought. She is also stubborn enough to veto any other point of view but her own. The fact she can be so self-centered that she goes on to hurt the an innocent bystander Kesar by marrying KN shows that she will stoop to new lows at any point. Her ego trip tops Prats any day.

Prats on the other hand is busy playing doormat to her sister and rather than get out and snoop for the truth as she always does she is taking the abuse. Does she feel deserving of this level of abuse bec' she feels it is payment for ruining the wedding on some level?

All her principles went tel lene.....what happened to sachchai ka sat dena, humare samne aisa kuch galti nahi hone denge (won't let such wrongs happen in my presence and not do anythiing about it ). Prats and Krishna's character have been severely compromised to make way for a character that was detested from the get go. Let's not forget this is the same Arusia who convinced Prats not to tell her parents the truth about Angad chasing them bec' they wouldn't get a chance to go out around town if they parents found out. She wreaks havoc wherever she goes.

IMO, She was thrust into a role, she was ill equipped off..her role assumed prominence but unfortunately she was not given any rehearsals.... She has got expressive eyes and she uses it although not with maximum effect,,it must be also said that Avantika needs to concentrate and improve on her Body language and Voice modulation's ...

Other than the bigamy track whcih is an attrocity I feel they have no intention of correcting, my main gripe with the charcter is that the essence of other characters had to be dumbed down / compromised just to make Arushi's track stand out........whoever came up with that brilliant idea is not just dumb but selfish IMO

Would not u say, Yemi..It is bec of Aarushi that we are reacting so violently to the Bigamy track ...we did not have this sustained negative reaction when we learnet about Shakthi murdering the Fetus...
