After taking a week off from watching MKAP it was fun to watch the Takur men expressing their frustrations in different ways. The Takur bahus and Arusia were not far behind. Overall a frustrating day at the Takurs.
Takurain invokes the grace of Lord blessings so that the ills that have befallen their nayi bahuria (new bride) Arusia are removed. She requests that the pundit read mantras to remove all the obstacles of the past two months. Well that's about the time she got engaged to SCAM wasn't it? Takurain's saccharin sweet tone sounds very fake. Does she really feel so warm and welcoming to Arusia? NOT! But how would Arusia who is in la la land in her mind know reality when she is living a fantasy right now, spaced out of her mind. Doesn't Baba ever wonder why his Mom never uses that tone with his Babu? He probably realizes it is fake and prefers the real mean woman she is when she is around Prats.
Pundit agrees to do pooja to remove all obstacles from KN and Arusia's lives and bring them happiness. For someone who defied her family and got married of her free will shouldn't she be rejoicing? Why the long face with fear and nervousness and not joy at her self-anointed jetani status which she clearly is not? This girl has been delusional since SCAM came into her life. SS as usual bullies the pundit who readily complies and recites some mantras. Pundit then gives KN a yantra with the condition that he must celibate for the next 24 hours. This to KN must be like telling a dog not to wag his tail😛. This would be more like being under house arrest with an ankle bracelet. Bechara can't even venture out to the kote😕. Kesar wipes away tears of relief for the moment. Her husband was still hers and hers alone much as he doesn't give a care about her. Kesar is standing silently watching Arusia taking her place, which is her legal right as KN's wife. How much more pain can this woman really tolerate? Is there anything that can really break her silence? The more we watch her suffer in silence the more her endurance level reaches new highs. Someday, somehow something's got to give😲. A hungry SS wants to be done with the havan so he could get a bite to eat. He yells at KN for wasting time arguing with the pundit to give him a concession on the time limit for celibacy. A nervous Arusia is relieved for the moment. Seems like teeny twit may have realized she is on borrowed time and she may have chewed on more than she could swallow.
Dadi voices her opinion that the home atmosphere must be one to make Shamu happy. So being the oldest daughter Prats should be told about her father's ill health. But shivering Shamu waves his hand rejecting the idea of any such action. Adarsh and Nainaji agree to keep Prats in the dark about her Papa. How come Prats hasn't taken a moment to call Shamu after the wedding fiasco to see how the family was doing? She stopped by to check on them after the engagement dramabaaz. What happened on the day of the wedding was far more intense and life changing for the Saxes. But then right from the beginning everything surrounding Arusia has been a series of notanki. Or is she giving them some breathing room given that they were upset with her as well.😕
Prats is back to straightening the bed like the good old early days of their marriage. When Krishna enters his bedroom she lies down giving him the silent treatment. Krishna starts ranting reversing the little praises he had showered on her in the past few months. Baba gives an indifferent Prats a few sarcastic zingers "Sleep well! You did a great thing, this is called patni dharma and you did it well. You disrespect and don't listen to your husband in front of everyone. At least listen to me and show my some respect in the presence of others. Am I asking for a lot, a wife has to stand by her husband in every situation? At least learn to understand me a little. I am talking away and you are giving me attitude. It makes no difference to you. I was once a sher now I have become a dog. You think I'm crazy? I keep talking and get no answers. Go ahead, be stubborn and do what you want". With that said he grabbed a pillow and blanket and headed for his self-appointed timeout back to the terrace. Every time he spends a night with Prats on the terrace he ends up going there solo the next time. So has he downgraded himself from a fox a few months ago to a dog now? What will it be next? Baba demeans himself every time Prats doesn't comply with his wishes. Baba, focus on working on that self-esteem of yours a little will ya? It seems to have taken quite a beating since you got married.😲
KN stealthily makes his way to his bedroom in spite of been told to stay celibate for a full 24 hours by the pundit. SS is watching KN from a distance tells him to do as he is told and stay away from his bedroom and his bride or ill will befall him for not following the conditions. SS and IG do share a trait of bullying their sons to do their bidding like they were little kids. SS riles at KN "You won't come to your senses until you are drunk, forget bottles I'll get you a keg and you can even bathe in it"😆😛. KN mumbles under his breath "The lion stays awake all night"😆. SS knew his son's kote lifestyle to trust him to stay away from the naiki bahuria, especially one he has been drooling over openly since around the time of Krishna's wedding. Assuming SS was on his way back to his room KN makes a second attempt to sneak into his room where Arusia is, in spite of the warning but SS catches him in the act once again and threatens him with a joota before banishing him for the night to the terrace.
Krishna arrives on the terrace agitated and complaining to himself about Prats demands on him. At the moment he engages in the game of avoidance and all he wants to do is sleep peacefully in the open air. But KN had other plans. Guzzling alcohol straight out of a bottle like a thirsty man having a drink of water he arrives on the terrace and wakes up an already annoyed Baba. Krishna thinking it is Prats come to appease him tells her to leave him alone. When KN whacks him Baba realizes it is his drunken big bro KN. What a treat to see the Takur brothers have one of their rare talks! Baba wants to know what KN is doing up on the terrace. KN can't understand why Baba who has no yantra on his wrist is wasting his night on the terrace😲. He tells Baba he was so excited about his marriage that he got drunk and today the yantra has caused another roadblock. He asks an experienced Baba to give him tips on how to woo an educated girl😆 that too on a day when Baba is not happy with Prats's behavior. Baba wants KN to buzz off "Who called you here why are you here?" Just then Prats arrives on the terrace and asks Baba to return back to their room for the night. He tells her to stop the diraama and go away. Prats proves he was right about her being a stubborn mule and tells him she will stand right there until he returns to their room. A frustrated KN advises Baba "Why waste your night here when she is here asking you to go with her". After a few attempts at checking to see if Prats was still a woman of her word and seeing that she was going nowhere, Baba tells KN to settle on the cot for the night and returns to his room. KN talks to himself about his plight and frustration having to stay away from his Aaaaruuusssiiiaaa on the terrace and continues to guzzle his drink down some more. At this rate hwo long can Arusia avoid him?
Kesar is cleaning the floor on center stage when Arusia walks out and is bothered by it. The new Takurain wannabe spots Krishna and Prats returning from the terrace. The green-eyed monster in her rears its ugly head. She tells Kesar she stop doing such chores which do not show her in a good light as a bahu of the house. They makes a snide remark that there are others to do the job with a glance in Prats's direction along with a few barbed taunts. Look who is talking!😡 How about you do it herself, you self appointed Takurain wannabe😡. Arusia lucked out this time that Takurain didn't hear her say that. What a foolish move to take charge without understanding the rules of the Takurs household. The reigning Queen is not ready nor will she ever be to dethrone herself voluntarily for the likes of Arusia. What is Arusia doing in the night wandering the halls, when Krishna and Prats are on their way to bed? Maybe guilty conscience is keeping her up all night with a good dose of fear about how long she can stay away from the clutches of her amorous man after he made his intentions clear by the way he spoke at the havan. She can't stand to see Krishna and Prats being happy together. Wrong place to move into if she didn't want to see them at all.
Arusia tells Kesar to stop her work, grabs the broom and orders Prats to step forward like she owns the place. She flings the broom towards Prats. She overrides Kesar's attempts to explain and gives her a speech about respect and understanding being the reasons for telling her to stop doing the housework. Yeah right! Teeny twit got ek chuti sindoor on her maang and a mangalsutra around her neck from an already married man and decides to declare herself a jetani and looks down her nose on her own sister. She conveniently forgets she is just a mistress in waiting to KN not his wife. Kesar has all the rights as KN's wife over her in that household. One word from Kesar and she will be out of there. So who gives her the right to boss over Kesar and tell her what to do and what not to do? She just steps into Kesar's shoes, feels a tad guilty, brushes it off then bosses the real bahus of the house like owns the place! A few more days in the company of Takurain she will become the junior version of the Queen of the Niwas. Soon she is going to leave the Niwas to return to Mumfordgunj so she can terrorize her maike gaining re-entry after crying a river called Remorse for a few minutes. She better beware given string of disasters recently. Shamu is still recovering from a health crisis😕. Arusia is a walking disaster. She either creates them in her own life or affects others' lives adversely. Her attitude leaves a lot to be desired as well. With this personality will any decent guy want to be her better half?
Preview: A very disturbed and agitated Shamu gathers Arusia's clothes and burns them on the terrace. Shyamji, did you burn her clothes on an impulse? Did you realize when Arusia returns to your home you are going to have to get her a brand new wardrobe all over again. Your wife recently sold her jewels to buy your medication, and here you are adding to the expenses. Now we know where Arusia inherited her trait to act first and think later.
