Thank you for your commitment to literacy by registering for classes at the only progressive school open to MKAP.
After careful consideration of several factors students have been placed in classes to ensure every student's educational needs are met. Please do not call the school or write PMs to request re-assignment to any particular class. Any changes in placement during the school year will be at the discretion of the teachers only. The decision of the faculty will be final and binding.
School will be in session for SAAT months. SAAT courses will be taught this school year.

SAAT Curriculum
Below are the list of classes to be taught by each course director.
TANTHYA (Cafeteria, Library)
ENGLISH:
Read - Please bring favorite fairy tale to read to stoke your imagination
Write - Slate/chalk or notebook/pencil or Ipad
HOME SCIENCE: skills include culinary and household chores
MERARAI (Arts, Social events, Field Trips, Ombudsman)
SOCIAL BEHAVIOR:
Good Manners - Speak respectfully. No name calling or swearing allowed.
Proper Equiette - Socially acceptable public behavior
Civility - How to avoid fist fights, settle differences cordially
Responsibility - Towards family members and work towards financial security
ART, MUSIC & DANCE - Learn to draw, paint, crochet, hand embroidery. Learn to sing and dance for your own joy. This is your chance to express your creativity.
KRISHNA_CHALBO & SHUMI (Transportation & Sports)
MATH ' Learn to measure, do basic math, learn how to manage your money
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION - skills required to hold a job after school hours
PHYSICAL EDUCATION - kabaddi, swimming, basketball, soccer
track events including marathon running, arm wrestling, dart board.
SAAT RULES THAT WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED
Respect the teachers in and outside the classrooms
Bullying peers at anytime in and out of the classroom is unacceptable
Cell phones must be turned off during school hours
Do not forcibly take snacks or other items from other students
Casual and simple attire, no fancy jewelry or accessories
Speak softly while in the classroom and respectful of fellow students
Classroom brawls will not be tolerated, joota throwing strictly prohibited
Above rules will be strictly enforced at Pratigya School. Student will be given two warnings and suspended after the third incident. Flagrant violation will result in dismissal from school without notice.
Playground & Security Student Leader: GEES
Students are required to respect each other on the playground. Bullying and getting into fights with each other or instigating one directly or indirectly will result in suspension from school.
Cafeteria CaptainL: KOMAL: The school serves all kinds of food to meet international standards. Students will be encouraged to try some new foods as part of their learning experience. Our chefs make wonderful dishes to meet all kinds of palettes. No alcoholic beverages allowed on school premises by law. If any student is caught drinking or attempting to smuggle drinks for other students on campus, disciplinary action will be taken to the full extent of the law including imprisonment.
Transportation Leader: CHANDU: Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from school. Please allow extra time for traffic congestion to ensure your arrival at school on time every day. Punctuality is a requirement.
DJ's at PPS: Gees, Steffroc, Shumi, Tanthya, Merarai
There will be at least one opportunity every month for children for each classroom to play their favorite tunes throughout the month. Dancing will be allowed only during assigned times to avoid any disruption during school hours.

Events Coordinators: Teachers and classroom leaders will work together to plan events.
All students should forward any ideas for events to their class leader for this purpose.
Report cards will be distributed every month. IG, Mr. Dayal Mathur will be handing out report cards during school assembly on the first Monday.
Attendance: Students must attend classes on school days. Students must be present to receive their report cards every month unless prior permission has been granted by the Principal. Any request for a day off from school must be given in writing and signed or thumb printed by a responsible parent. No photocopies will be accepted.
By order of the IG of police the following members of society have been required to attend school this year. These students have been sentenced for the following reasons and law requires that the information is available to the public: Katra Naresh Babu Sakthi Singh (vouyeurism, fist fights, threatening with gun, physical assault), Jai Mathur (for hit and run), Aman Mathur (bigamy), Gaurav Mathur (anger management), Sumitra Devi Singh (anger management and social behavior), Takur Sajjan Singh (anger management, swearing, violence), Kesar (depression, anxiety), Piasiya (rudeness, defying authority), Arusia (runaway teenager, rudeness), Komal (anger management and social behavior), Adarsh (depression and anti-social behavior).
Shamu Saxsena and Nainaji Saxsena have been ordered by the courts to attend classes for PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), Depression, and Anxiety Disorder.
Dadi and Ganti Dadi will lead the morning assembly each day.
Ganti Dadi will ring the bell at the beginning and end of each school day and end of each class period.
