They want the dirt on anyone, it's more about Komal and less about Adarsh. Surprisingly IG forgot to find out who took his car and dented it. I thought he was IG of Police. Isn't it his job? Or is that the DMV's (Department of Motor Vehicles) jurisdiction? Either way he was bugged his car was dinged but didn't investigate? Not one eye witness in that crowd to give them so leads? I find that surprising. Didn't Aman want to find out who hit his saale saahib with a car? He is supposed to be the ambulance chaser sitting in that purple room with no files or clients.

Had it been Krishna he would have searched every hellhole and Adda and got his hands on the kid by now.
