Will Kriya be compelled to choose sides?

According to the update the Thakurs will be insulted . I am wondering which sides will kriya take? Will they choose individually or together as a team? I have a feeling that Prats is going to side with her in - laws in this one although she has doubts about her fil's behavior and intentions. I think Krishna will support his dad. I have a feeling that this incident would either break or solidify Kriya's marraige.

Honestly speaking I personally do not like any of the families. They are each extreme in their own way. I grew up in an atmosphere where my parents were like my friends and they raised me to have my own opnion and individuality. I cannot relate to any of the families.
I really do not like the way the serial is depicting itself. The TRPS are doing down each day.
What do you guys feel?

I think P will side with her family while K will side with his family, even though, from the sbs clips, he looks quite embarassed with his fathers behavior.

I don't think Kriya's marriage is going to shake for a small breeze like this 😛

And there's a long way to go yet till the wedding - this is just the engagement! Let's see how the dynamics change till then.

Aman will make a special request that Pratigya be there, but Pratigya will decide not to go and Krishna will be extremely unhappy about her being excluded from her own sister's wedding is my guess.

Hi Anusarkar
I NEVER thought I'd ever say this, but I agree with u.
The Takurs are so OTT
The Saxenas - I always think that when the yellow house is shown evryone says, oh shit not another saxena family scene!
The Mathurs, another depressing family
I always thought that the CVs were trying to highlight problems faced in our society, but lately I'm starting to get a bit cheesed off with the way things get so dragged out:
Kesar's inability to stand up for herself or even warn Kriya about SS intentions to kill Prats, or even say anything about Shakti's other women
Komal's fake pregnancy is annoying, and Adarsh going along with it, and she knows SS lot tried to kill Prats
The list is endless really, but now we'll have the Arushi wedding controversy - I don't know what the cvs will think up for Kriya but it had better be good cos their bickering gets on my nerves. We had enough of their arguments before the SR. Married couples do argue and make up but not like this!
Unless the cvs start to show Prats as a more supportive wife, people will start to resent her cos even though Krishna is uneducated, and prone to tantrums, he is shown to be there for her, making her look unloving and ungrateful.
Hopefully if they realise what SS true intentions were, Krishna will open his eyes to what's going on and they'll be OK. I adore the Kriya jodi and want the drama to be as interesting as it used to be.
And I want Tunna and Chandu back, I really miss them!

Well Kesar and G dadi's silence is making a lot of sense right now.,had they revealed the RED's plan to Kriya may have forced them to leave TN altogether. Once they leave TN, how could the three families interact ??. Kriya will always be a focal point among the triangle developing between the three families. This what maze of various characters are needed to be kept together until Kriya develops their own clout and stand out as an independent family.

Thanks. I was mentioned by my friend that this is suppose to be a social drama and the only one really worth watching because of the kriya chemistry. I am very dissappointed with the cvs because the modifiaction of the story is not right. What kind of social issues are they trying to show? I really have problems with these 2. 1) Housewife planned to be burnt = They just showed the incident and then no repurcations happens. Kesar and Gd knows about it but nobody talks. Where is the solution? 2) Kesar being abused and looses her child. Prats expects to bring her back in the lion's den and fight for her. It is not possible to fight your battles staying with the enemies. Now Kesar is coerced into allowing her husband's second marraige. No solution. Are the cvs thinking that the audiences just watch the shows without using their minds.Well they will be immensly surprised. In today's 21st century society if they think that by showing society norms of pre historic era is gullible, then they are in for a great surprise. people do not like to see violence and injustice. people are changing with time and so are their thoughts.

Thanks, I'm fairly new to IF so i still get a buzz when anyone replies to my posts!
I only started watching MKAP cos my mom stayed with me when i was ill, she watches ALL the indian dramas, and we all used to walk out of the room when she watched her shows but when i was too ill to walk out, Pratigya came on and it was their wedding day and it caught my attention.
I said why are the girl's side so miserable, and then i thought i'd catch up with it from the beginning on youtube, so I can't really compare it with any other shows other than the odd glimpse when i flick thru channels. My point is that from what my mom tells me and what i have seen every story line gets draaaagggged out so the serial lasts longer but you're right, indian people have moved on from watching daft scenes and i really hate when they keep showing shock on every single character's face for about 10 minutes, and the scene doesn't even warrant it!
People want realistic story lines, but like u say, the Pratigya burning incident could have been a lot better, they built up the anticipation and when the scene came it was rubbish. I could go on and on. When it comes to violence, although its nasty to watch, unfortunately, that's something a lot of women have to suffer with, but they should show how a woman in that situation should react in today's world. Kesar's muteness is driving everyone nuts, even if she's illiterate doesn't mean she's brain dead!!
Other than that, i suppose i'll keep watching, hoping things work out for the best, and that certain tracks don't drag on for about 6 months.
