I may be one of the few here who don't find Mathurs odd. I know of a very educated family like them from my younger days. Disconnected, high achievers but emotionally distant living under the same roof. In fact I find their portrayal very realistic. The outside world may not see it as much. In fact, Mrs. Mathur seems the typical Mom who is the go to person in the family. The glue that keeps the family together. All of them complain report and vent to the central station that is Mrs. Mathur so strong are their egos.

KC you and I watched the same clip and went back to catch up. 😆😆😆😆 I saw Krishna and went who is this guy, so complex and I started watching just to understand this unique character. Once I read Pearl Grey say he was her favorite without a second thought and she had spent a lot of time on creating this character, I was in to find out where she was going to take him and sticking it out .

That is what I meant, hami. They are trying too hard, not allowing the natural flow to enter. I find Aman's acting to be very mechanical, even the hand movements don't appear natural. They are very conscience that it is a TV show and all are acting in front of a camera. I think they do need to loosen up a bit and forget that they are acting and rather live the character they are playing...
