Pratigya has seriously raised the bar on nighttime/daylight dramas. In half-an-hour, it manages to convey more entertainment, character development and social statements than the hour-long soaps we currently have on TV.

Another well-written soap General Hospital appears to be recycling stories lately and even Grey's Anatomy doesn't deliver emotional punches like Pratigya does.
Kudos to the writers and CV!!!😊

Well said! And it is what I have been thinking for a long time as well!

No other soap in this industry has such a wealth of characters, such different mileaus, so many threads in play at once. They are truly doing a FANTASTIC job - the narrative never drags, it never stagnates, they tackle nuances, they tackle so many social issues, the story is inspiratonal, the actors are great, the dialouge ROCKS - in short, the makers of Pratigya are simply one talented bunch.👏👏👏👏👏

I, for one, am so happy that it's ruling the GEC segment! 😊

okay, so i had to ask...... do you watch General Hospital? i have been watching it since 2005. What characters do you like? You are right that Pratigya has indeed raised the bar for Indian TV. Most soaps do have recycled stories, but with Pratigya even if the story is not new, the portrayal/ execution of the story is indeed different.

GH has been on the air since April 1963 so of course they will end up doing that at some point. Oh the days of Robert Scorpio, Anna Devane and Duke Lavery in the 80s was so good. That was ages ago. Haven't seen it for over a decade now.

Pratigya is definitely different and makes you think and reflect, only reason I watch it.

I have been watching GH since 1995! Always my favorite soap before Pratigya came along. Currentlly feel a little bored with it. Loved Sonny Brenda way back in the beginning. Lub Jason, especially with Elizabeth. Like Alexis, Dianne. I think Dante is really yummy😉
