Today was Water Wednesday! So much diramma around a bowl of filthy water that had to be swallowed. And as usual the hero of the half hour was Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, who came like a knight in shining armor to rescue Prats once again from his vicious family. Life must be snake pit in that Niwas.
Prats was back with a full tank of petrol (Papa's advice) unbeknownst to Takurs who were off to get the FIR squashed. With her renewable energy in place (Krishna's security and support) Prats was ready to take on the rest of the Takur clan head on. The gloves were off and she was ready to take the Takurs for a ride.
Takurs are like onions, the more one peels the layers of their despicable behavior one by one, the more the eyes water. Krishna will soon see "RED" when he peels the layers off and discovers that his parents are rotten to the core with many secrets eating away at the foundation of the Niwas, hence the karaab hawa he mentioned several times.
Amma had thrown the gauntlet and called her opponent into the ring. It was Prats or Takurain, there was no room for both in that sprawling mansion said Takurain on center stage. Ganti dadi was confused while KN expressed his joy of the moment sniffing his fingers.😡 He was firmly on his mother's corner. Prats returned SDS's intimidating looks in full measure. SS stepped in as referee. He reminded SDS Krishna was his son and would remain in the Niwas bec' he was a Takur who had brought Prats into the home as his wife. Trying to score points with Baba, Takurji? Prats would face the punishment for her crime. She and not Krishna was responsible for what had happened to SDS and KN. Krishna watched in confusion and just wanted all this notanki to be over with NOW! SS declared Prats had to wash her sasuma's feet putting her on a throne/pedestal and giving her due respect. Takur saheb, izzat has to be earned not demanded. Beware of suggesting a pedestal, she could take a fall from there just as easily given the shaky ground she is on these days. SS stood by his wife glaring at Prats. Takur saheb, since Krishna brought Prats into this family you have changed and you don't even know it, do you? Once a man who gave his wife daily joota-maar peet as prasad you are now standing by your Takurain, opening doors for her and defending her to the bahu. Always the last to know eh! Amma gave Prats a challenging look and satisfied SS may have come up with the perfect punishment for Prats she heaved a sigh, the hatred welling up inside her and ready to choke her😡. Krishna had not a clue about where the next phase of this multiple act drama was going😕. With a trace of a smile hovering on her lips Prats headed to the kitchen. Piece of cake! Washing the feet of elders in the family was not a demeaning act to her, so Prats was ready to get through it.
SS asked Amma to take her royal seat on his cot which Amma did great pride. Prats returned to center stage with tray and a bowl of water. Filthy feet had to be washed, so she willingly got to the task on hand. But who'll clean the Takurain's poisonous mind and hate-filled heart and how? She was feeling like a Queen. Prats gave Takurain a gentle foot wash. Phew! Takurain didn't kick her in the face and call it an accident😲. She loved every minute, smirked and smiled her way through it and KN stood beside her enjoying the royal treatment his mother was receiving from Prats. Kesar was as usual looking on confused and nervous all at once😕. Pleased that his wife was satisfied SS distanced himself after claiming his job was done. Ganti dadi was yet again giving the look "what the heck, why is this undeserving woman getting her way?😲Prats looked at Krishna for support but he just looked on not ready to take sides just yet. Takurain looked at Prats proud and haughty that she had disgraced her bahu into washing her feet. With contempt and disdain she removed her feet off the tray letting out a heavy sigh. She had already plotted her second act, not content with the footwash, she wanted more, to break down Prats.
Prats picked up the tray and turned to walk away when Takurain stopped her in her tracks with a demeaning "ay"😡. Takurain, she is your bahu so don't take that tone. You want respect, then first learn to give it! She directed Prats to drink the water in the tray. Ganti Dadi looked shocked😲. What's the point GD? Speak up and stop this piranha of a bahu before she gets more deadly. KN smirked, satisfaction written on his face. Why was SS letting her get away with adding on to the punishment?😲 Takurain said she wasn't going to budge until Prats drank the unclean water. Krishna was shocked and seething in silence. Ganti Dadi was now on the verge of tears😭. Prats refused to drink it in a clear voice.
KN was furious at her refusal. Why don't you drink it to prove how much you revere your mother?😡 Takurain insisted that as part of the punishment for her mistake Prats must drink the water for it was nothing in comparison to the way she had humilated her. Prats said (quote) "You are older than me I won't be ashamed nor will I have difficulty washing your feet and am ready to serve you in every way but making me drink this water will neither serve you nor make you noble". This is not dharma it's inhuman torture. Good one, Prats, give it to Takurain straight. Her ego is way out of control, help her diffuse it a little. Keep it up continue the baashan that should wear her down some, they'd all rather run than listen to it. Prats again refused to drink it bec' she hadn't done anything wrong, so why was she being punished? KN looked disappointed. Kesar was concerned, SS resigned as if he knew this was coming and Krishna had had enough. Prats threw the gauntlet this time'.Takurain cannot trample on her self-esteem and no matter what happened she wasn't going to be forced to drink the water. This round goes to Prats hands down. Ganti Dadi looked on "now what? This is getting interesting".😉
Krishna had had enough of the diraama. As always and to the point, he reminded his Amma to stop it since Prats had fulfilled her punishment and washed her feet. Takurain told Baba to go inside if he couldn't bear to watch it. Prats had humiliated her and the family. She then went for a personal barb directed at Krishna, he wouldn't understand what it felt like to be humiliated, because he had no self-respect. OUCH! SS was watching this unravel not once interfering and letting the Takurain have her say. Since when did he let his wife get away with her runaway mouth without a joota maar? Oh, yeah! It's progressively become rare since Prats entered the Niwas.
That didn't stop Krishna from telling his mother to drop the drama with drinking the water. Be happy and let every one else be happy. Drama over, Bus baat katham! Good idea, Baba! But what can you do with the miserable lot who can't be happy neither can they see others happy?Just pack your bags and get the heck out of the hellhole. The karaab hawa is getting to you too dude! SS decided to step in for another round of brainwashing this time in broad daylight. He told Krishna the problem was not as simple as he thought. Neither is killing a baby in it's mother's womb.Takur saheb, don't dump heavy-duty multi-layered problems on Baba's head. He likes to keep his life simple and avoid notanki. SS told Krishna that his wife had made all arrangements to send the Takurain and KN to jail. If Prats had such intentions then she must be changed. Takur saheb, just a reminder, change comes from within. She is as ziddi as you so no chances of that happening. Even your super-ziddi beta had to change his ways, so your changes are zilcho, got it? Krishna was overwhelmed with SS's trying to have a word in his ear.
KN smirked😕. Takur continued that Prats had to be kept under control for the family had to live together. SS told Krishna to let Takurain do what she was doing and if he had a hard time he could go to his room and take a nap. Takurji, now you are parroting your wife's words too😲. Yeah, tell Baba to go so you can do as you please. Nice going, Takur saheb! You have a viper in the house that is spitting poison with not an ounce of remorse for her part in killing her grandchild and you are giving her free rein to do as she pleases? One of these days she will come for your jugular, then what? You are getting more foolish by the minute since you teamed up with her in your schemes against Prats. Watch out, you may pay a heavy price for it one of these days.
Takurain demanded Prats drink the unclean water for the last time, or she was going to starve and not drink a drop of water as she was a Takur too and Prats would be hailed her murderer. Ganti Dadi and Krishna watched in shocked silence. SS was reveling in the joy watching Krishna's predicament at seeing Prats finally being cornered into doing Takurain's bidding. KN stepped in to give his useless two cents worth. What was Prats waiting for, she must listen to his mother and just drink the water. Prats gave him an indifferent look. Wasn't she satisfied enough taking Amma's respect that she wanted to take her life too, he demanded. Ya, you'd know a lot about that wouldn't ya, you child killer? You have killed 5 of your own flesh and blood and no one has held you accountable for it yet. How about giving you a lifetime sentence behind bars for just that crime. No statute of limitation for these murders just in case you didn't know. Prats addressed KN and said she didn't take anyone's respect and using life and pride as weapons to intimidate her wouldn't cut it either. There you go, give him a earful, it's never enough. Prats said she neither would she support what was wrong.
SS taunted Krishna saying Prats had so gushing with self-respect she has no value for his mother's life. What happens to a house or country when a bahu like her comes into the house, it will end up in a pit. Takur saheb, you are already in the pit, you just don't know that your ladla beta is the only almost out of it at the moment. Krishna baba, pay attention, your bauji has joined Takurain's ranks and is now dancing to her tunes too. How much longer are you going to stay there when your self-respect is being pounded into the ground with each passing day. Amma not one to give up easily ordered Prats to drink it. Again? Ganti Dadi shook her head just about ready to cry.
Krishna walked up to Prats took the tray from her hand and drank the water.😲😃 Prats was moved to tears😭. SS knew this was coming😕''.he (Baba)will never change he said under his breath. Amma directed hate filled eyes at Prats😡. What's the use Takurain, besides being jealous of his love for his wife you are making things worse with your son. Krishna tossed the tray aside, he had resolved the problem and now he was a happy man😃. He reminded his family that he married Prats so she and he were one, so whether she drank the water or he did it was all the same. Krishna said he drank the water that washed his mother's feet, no big deal, she gave him life and this was nothing. Baba, you never know when your mother will come asking you for your life if it means Prats is miserable as hell. He then told Prats his mother has plenty of complaints against him, drinking the water gave him an excuse to wash some off his sins. Prats looked at Krishna with love and respect😳. He gave an assuring smile to his mother then took Prats's arm and walked away leaving the family watching in stupefied silence. Lallantop move, Baba! 👏👍🏼 Ganti Dadi looked at the departing couple with joy and pride and turned to give the Takurain a look that said BULLY FOR YOU, TAKURAIN.🤪
Amma stood there kneading her palms. She had lost this round too. The poison in her brain was now spreading to her entire body. You son played King Solomon and you still ended up with egg on your face. When will you ever learn Takurain? Children are not property to own, they have a spirit of their own. Just bec' you don't know how to flap your wings let alone fly don't even think about clipping Baba's wings. He was born to soar, free as a bird. He won't let you get near him or his wife. He delivered you a soft punch a knockout punch nevertheless.

P.S: Takurs haven't realized that much as they hate Prats things are shifting and changing on the foundation of the Niwas and they are not even aware of it. SS was no longer giving Takurain maar-peet. Instead, he was opening doors for her, comforting her and even scheming with her to be rid of his bahuria.
Takurain, you are a full-fledged bully. You have repeatedly used aggressive behavior with the intention to hurt your bahus with a wide spectrum of abuses. Don't be surprised the day your payback arrives returned to sender with compound interest.Please, Bolbo your thoughts and comments!
