Hey guys I'm kinda new to this, but feel I can fit in quite quickly....Anyhow, having seen the recent episode of Kesar being beaten so badly that she lost her child I believe it was the right decision to involve the police, however I feel it would have better if it had been someone close to the family rather than Pratigya herself. It could have been either Krishna or Komal...as in reality a new daughter in law would not bring the police on their in-laws unless the abuse was inflicted on themselves..Pratigya could have shown to been extremely upset by their actions and that could have provoked a close member of the family to surprisingly react in a way that one wouldn't expect..

Anyhow, I believe Kesar should NOT back down and think of it as a kind of rehabilitation for her husband and mother inlaw..They both need to learn that people are human beings who have rights and if we continue to allow things like that to happen in this modern era then we are certainly living in the dark ages.

Well talking about Amma and shakti, After the cold blooded beating and the way they left the room with no remorse and a mocking grin on their face and reactions latter on upon hearing the loss of child, the deceptive sobbing and tear shedding by both in front of the family with no remorse speaks volumes of the nature of both characters, I couldn't find appropriate words to describe their crime and behavior sorry. 😕

Nikil

I highly doubt that a negative reaction from prats side could have forced children to file a complaint against their own mother, it is difficult as it is for them to accept the fact that a women like Amma who they have seen taunt, abuse, etc could stand around while a pregnant women was being beaten. Krishna and Komal would have sympathized with Kesar but would never have though about getting her justice, at the moment prats is the only one thinking about Kesar's loss and supporting her despite the consequences. As for the rest of the family members there is nothing which could have forced them to react because in the TN women are seen as mere objects and beating them is a natural occurrence also they care far too much for their prestige to worry about the death of an innocent unborn child.

Kesar should not back down no one should ever have to face what she has gone through, and people like Amma and Shakti never change !

Problem is that Kesar has been so systemically mistreated that she can't always think for herself. And she wants to believe Shakti so she can continue with this farce of a marriage.

Trins

At this point apart from shock Kesar is also scared of the fact that where will she go or who will support her if she is thrown out by her husband, we have never seen her family they have never inquired about her so they can not be relied upon. She is in a state of denial because she wants so badly to believe her husband can and will change yes prats is supporting her but it's important to remember the hardest thing for an abused women to do is to raise her voice against the injustice done to her.
