But I think she made her biggest blunder here. She instigated him, added fuel to the fire. Does she expect him to be scared by her warnings? It's highly unlikely, especially given the smug faces he was making. Pratigya provoked Angad and now Arushi is provoking Shakti.

The best method would have been to leave in the daytime, when Prats and Krishna were there. But yet she stayed in the house, even left her room at night for a drink of water, when she should have been locked in her room. She knows he's chasing after her like a kid after a toy, she knows he's been watching her every move. Yet she stepped out of her room. Surely, her 'Izzat' is way more important than a glass of water? I don't like saying it, but Arushi is bringing this on herself.

And what was Kesar doing? Why was she making pleading faces to Arushi to hide the truth? This had nothing to do with the safety of her child. And okay, even if not in front of the men, she should have told Prats of Shakti's intentions, and asked her to have Arushi sent home. It wouldn't have surprised Pratigya, everyone knows what Shakti is like. 🤢

And eeewww, Shakti has no morals! On one hand he's calling himself an elder brother and on the other hand he's 😡. He must be almost twice her age! 🤢

However, to tell a man who is obviously stronger than you, in the middle of the night when there's no one around, what his "auqat" is (sorry i've forgotten the words) is foolishness. He could easily put a hand over her mouth and drag her off to wherever. She was LUCKY that he didn't.

Of course he will try it again, he won't be stopped even by her words. She's hurt his pride now, and he'll retaliate like a wounded lion. More ferocious than before.

He did deserve the verbal bashing she gave him.... but it should have been more well timed. Like in the daytime, when everyone was available at close call. And right after that, she should have run home to safety.

@ Elle - I know u r giving more considerations to the man for the woman's safety's sake but plz, who is at wrong here - Aarushi wanting to drink water in the middle of the night coz she was thirsty or Shakti who keeps harassing his sister-in-law? Pratigya provoked Angad and Aarushi provoked Shakti - then WHAT about the women being provoked? Coz they r women, coz they r weak - they dont have the right to be provoked, do they? Angad provoked Pratigya into slapping him and now, Shakti provoked Aarushi into warning him against his disgusting intentions... But that doesnt matter much I guess COZ, all that seems to matter is HOW Angad or Shakti were provoked! I understand that 'talking' doesnt work on these jerks MOST of the time but that doesnt mean it NEVER works! Ignoring such comments or leaving the zone of harassment might stop the abuses temporarily but unless girls stand up AGAINST such things, its never gonna stop! It might get worse coz no change is accepted right away, but it will stop at some point and there is also a chance that it might get better!

Men are ALWAYS going to be stronger than women - doesnt mean, women should just give up protecting themselves! Dragging off Aarushi - Shakti could do that NYTIME - IF Aarushi is UNLUCKY! C'mon! Why does Aarushi have to be careful about her timings??? Shakti does not harass Aarushi in front of everyone - WHY? Shakti does NOT have to worry about HIS timings - WHY?Aarushi told off Shakti at that time coz he was harassing her then, and she dint want the peace of her sister's house to be disrupted (just coz the Thakurs dont think of nyone's well being other than themselves, doesnt mean EVERYONE is like that!) and she was also charged up after Pratigya's energy boost,😆!

There u go again with 'SHE has hurt HIS pride' - WHAT about HIM hurting her pride and self-respect? Does it NOT matter??? If Shakti has the right to retaliate to his hurt pride by reacting like a ferocious lion, then, WHAT is this discrimination of Aarushi, reacting to Shakti's harassments, which BTW, was in a much composed way??? Seriously! WHY does Aarushi have to be the one to watch out how she acts/reacts, when Shakti is the one doing all the wrongs?😕

Like I said b4, running away or ignoring such abuse is NOT the solution! And bcoz MOST of us, NORMAL girls, do run away or ignore such harassments - THAT is why such things still exist! So, I totally support and admire Pratigya and Aarushi's actions and even though I'm not sure if I'm strong or brave enough to act like them, but God forbid, if I'm ever in such a situation, I'd like to be as brave as them!
