Night has fallen ...The Mansion of Thakur's are well lit ,so well lit that it hides the deepest ,darkest deeds of the Thakur's capably...
The crickets are chirping ! The Bodyguards are maintaining their vigil [when evil has already permeated the Thakur's villa, what are they guarding against ??] ....but in this immoral mansion, there exists a tiny corner,a tiny corner which has repulsed this evil ,which still hold virtues, moral and above all love ...we are going there !!....We are going to the Kriya ..whose pulsating love is repulsing the growing evilness of the Thakur's...
Krishna is sitting with a lollipop sticking out !!😉😆 [Wait, wait..let me put on my glasses , no dearies , It is thermometer ] .* The Thakur's are advanced enough to have a thermometer 😲 * ..Pratigya pulls out the thermometer *Careful, don't break his jaws in ur haste 😆*.. takes a reading and continues talking to thin air ..she says his temp has not come down [Krishna is sitting with a disagreeable face ]...she continues "How can it be so ?? { the fever has not had the benefit of ur bhashan , give one ..I swear..The fever will scamper so swiftly that a trained marathon runner like u will not be able to catch it }..."You are being very careless, Now get well soon and then be Bullheaded as much as you want " {Krishna is growing increasingly restless,which goes completely unnoticed by Pratigya } * Arrey, Yaar Kabhi tho Pati Par dhyan diya karo * "But Not Now , Right Now swallow this medicine".
she picks some pill and tries to feed it to him along with a glass of water ....Krishna who had turned his face away while all this blabber was going on decisively and quite gently pushes her hand ,picks the pill ,takes the water and swallows it ....[but not his anger, it still is simmering ]..Pratigya ,full of wifely concern tries to cocoon him in a blanket and tells him to sleep ...Krishna is irked and stops her actions and glare at her...Pratigya is nonplussed and awaits for the barbs from Krishna...Krishna does not Disappoint * See, He always fulfills ur wishes* ..He says "Did I ask you for anything ??then why are u always behind me *Tit for tat, baba...once upon a time U were behind her and now she is behind U* "Your sister has come , why don't you go and sleep with her ??Leave me alone, I want to stay alone, U Just go from here"...Pratigya has been getting increasingly distressed , while this tirade was going on, still she reins in her Ganga and Jamuna and talks in a wifely tone "If I go off to Aarushi's room , who will take care of you ?? "...Swiftly without a seconds pause Krishna burst out "Why are you taking care of me {This is what he wants to know,he so wants to know desperately , answer him and deliver him out of his misery }.....Pratigya's Lips are sealed and locked ..." Krishna continues "Don't take such care of me, I am not used to it ...I feel uncomfortable, I just want you leave the room [Here on his eyes will not meet her's eyes ,nor will he look at her ...It is so obvious he doesn't mean what he is saying]..I want to sleep all alone on the bed " {he looks up now to see what effect this has made on her }
Pratigya bows her head , brings it up smiles with her lips , shakes her head as if she will do as he bid and replies "I will fulfill even this wish of your's" {Krishna is disappointed and turns away his face } ...then she delivers an Ace "I will sleep down {Krishna is flummoxed, he clearly was not expecting it } He gives her a mildly surprised look and look on with growing guilt and chagrin as she pulls out the mat, quilt and pillow and retires to sleep but not before giving parting shot "Now you have the whole bed to urself, sleep peacefully but yes, If you are in need of anything, wake me "[Baba is peeved, on one hand , he wants her near him ,but ego stops him on the other he wants to send her off, perversely hurting her , but Madam by choosing the middle path has sabotaged his intention] ...* he also feels wretched for making her sleep on the ground * unable to bear the thought that his love is sleeping on the hard ground , he gets up and realizes she has not covered herself with the quilt and he bends and covers her and retreats back to the bed, never once taking his eyes of his meherau ...even then he is not happy and feels distressed at the way he treated Pratigya ...
This segment clearly proves that Krishna is hopping mad at Pratigya not because he doubts her chastity,but he doubts the veracity of her emotion's ...he does not know whether it is gratitude, compassion, guilt or convention's that is making her stay by him...he wants her to stay with him for love and not bec tradition demands it ...he is not able to fathom or perhaps is too scared to apprehend her emotion's..he wants to hear it from her ...he is asking her in many ways and provoking her to gauge her reaction's ... but her extreme patience is inflaming his temper ...he wants to move on but is held back by Pratigya's reticence....he is a man of action , and this not knowing funda is pushing him to inaction and Rajanal is getting royally vexed by it !!
Morning Dawns....
Pratigya comes in bringing the morning nourishment ...Krishna is sleeping , she goes near him checks his temp and realises that Fever is not breaking..She decides to call up the doctor and picks up the mobile and calls up the doc, but before the call can be completed , Krishna snatches the phone and disconnects the call , he bristles and says "No need to call up Doctor , and no need to act all lovey-dovey, What will the Doc do ? I am perfectly alright ??and this little fever will go by itself"..Pratigya adopts a reasonable tone and speaks as if she is spaeking to an adult {Finally}..
she rejoins "Krishna , u are angry at me, why are you punishing urself ?? Punish me however you want, I will willingly accept it , but u re having fever , u have to get it treated "
Krishna gets furious and retaliates "The wound that you have given ,will the Doc be able to cure it ?? {pratigya looks on shocked,dismayed} ...That thermometer will find the temperature of my body,but will it be able find the temperature of my heart which is burning and roasting in the inferno ".
Pratigya is anguished to hear his pain,swallows her hurt but continues her calm demeanor comes near him and states "whatever you have undergone bec of me, I seek forgiveness with folded hands,if you don'y want to show the doctor, dont do it ,but at least have breakfast and take medicines on time"..she goes and gets the breakfast and hands it to him..Krishna gives one fulminating look at her, sighs in exasperation takes it from her and eats !! Seeing him eat, Pratigya gives a warm and loving smile ....
A bit of Progression in Kriya world..Krishna has moved from from blindly lashing out intent on hurting her to stating and talking about his emotion's ...earlier he refused to eat anything from her hand..now he has deigned to accept food from her..That he cares about her , loves her beyond death is never doubted , that he is also wounded, broken in spirit and heart and is longing for her love is also certain...He has begun to take a few hesitant steps towards recovery and Pratigya has to take a hand and become the wife that he wanted ...in other words, it is about time that Pratigya began to behave like HIS woman than like a mother or Nurse !!
Pratigya too has progressed, gone are her commanding tone , her indifference...she has began to tune into Krishna's emotions, has began to give him precedence ..she has began to understand that Marriage does not mean following a code of conduct ..marriage is an exchange of emotion's , vulnerabilities, strengths ...She has realized ego has no place in love . She has begun to awaken from her slumber, A bit more prodding and patience ..soon she will be there ..she wants to make this marriage work not for marriage's sake but bec she wants too, because she has irrevocably fallen in love and has committed herself to Krishna , bec at last she has come to the realization and she has fully acknowledged that Krishna is HER man !!
