Today ran on expected lines and no surprises there ,but there were few surprising moments scattered amongst the mundane matters...
The days starts with court room drama , where at least the PP is working for his meal while we notice Aman Mathur staring silently into space ... he brings in Adarsh to testify and adarsh looks on shocked..[seems there was not an open line of communication betwn the lawyer and client]..
...and Adasrh hesitantly walks on to stand in the witness box..and takes oath ...Aman Mathur having ensured that his chidiya does not flow further pushes him into the gilded cage saying..Middle class ppl hide the truth when it involves their women ..[Aman ! are you their Lawyer or hangman ....you are acting as PP's unpaid assistant]
The PP continues to shoot missiles after Missiles and each and every one of them finds their target and also takes away their ability to speak [tsk ! Tsk ! ]...
Their protective shield is getting thinner and thinner ...and the Lawyer has gone into hibernation...is there no one to save this helpless souls😭...the lost tribe of saxena's ....😭😭the innocent cherubs of Mumford ganj........Fikkar Not friends.....*pappparey Pappa paaaaa!!, Trumpet blaring *....here enters our heroine ...Xena -our warrior princess...the protector of innocent !! The savior of Sax's and the upholder of Truth !!
She starts with her truth...and slowly all the truth comes out and Krishna is getting progressively angry and shocked and when she has finished her confession.she steps down and looks at him fearfully but Krishna does not look at her..he is slowly dragging himself out of the court ...he is in the throes of despair, defeated by destiny..his world crumbling ...his love gone like a wisp of Ash in the gentle breeze 😭 ...I like the shot placement here..both Pratigya and Krishna are shuffling parallel but in the same direction and she is following HIM ...That I loved !! she wants to stop him , wants him to look at her but Baba is Numb and doesn't even look at where he is going ...he walks slowly out of the court room ...Pratigya is staring after him saddened and worried...just then the Judge get ready and slaps the gavel to draw every bodies attention..and he solemnly declares Guruji as a free man [ O God ! Our day of torture has begun !! ]
But it is interesting to note Pratigya's reaction....Do I detect a note of happiness , relief and euphoria in her face and eyes...nope, nada,,nein.....A BIG NO ! Mademoiselles ..she is silent and looks lost ...there is no happiness but only pain ...and she is standing in the centre of the court..the moment she hears the judgement...she [Hold ur breath] does NOT rush to her Papa, but is looking and hoping to gain a glimpse of Krishna .....her Family has ceased to matter , she is ready for the next stage of her life..it is only Aarushi who brings her back to the inner circle..and yet she does not belong here ...here face reflects that !! [beautifully depicted by Pooja👏 ]...Even though she smiles and conveys her gratitude ..she is barely holding herself from breaking down..
[I think the poor lass had not realised what was happening to her or the extent of her feelings for Him ]..
so while all the saxena's are together ...where is Komal ....Poor Komal is still not included in the family hug what a mean family😡....they go and call Pratigya but refuse to even acknowledge their Bahu , but they want her to love them and feel for them [Komaliya Just borrow ur Bhaiyya rifle and shoot the lot, My dear 😡 ]......
with Krishna leaving Pratigya all alone in the court...The prof takes it upon himself to leave Pratigya at her house .....and also assures her of his support...... [without Krishna, Pratigya ke liye tho jag bilkul soona hogayi ]...funny isn't it..how you take a person for granted and only realize his importance by the vacuum, by the emptiness he leaves behind in ur heart ....
Krishna has withdrawn into his world and accelerating towards [ darkness or light ] ...he stops the car on a hilltop and very roughly and angrily pulls out the Gun... The tattoo is quite visible today [will it be the end of tattoo and his illusions , dreams , naivete ]
