Suppose the truth comes out during the court case - the truth that Prats was kidnapped by Angad and kept with her overnight - then what is the most objectionable thing as far as Krishna is concerned? I'll list out the situations (both hypothetical and actual) in which I feel Krishna would feel hurt and betrayed.
1) If Pratigya had really been in love with someone else and still interested in that someone else - Krishna would be devastated. Frankly IMO this is one big scenario that could hurt Krishna very much
2) If Pratigya had been involved with someone and/or had relations with them. (He would be justifuied in being upset even in htis case)
3) If Pratigya had been abducted and molested (He could be upset but it was not her fault; even if he wanted an unsullied virgin bride, IT WAS NOT HER FAULT. Becoming more upset than the real victim is making it all about you and not very nice at all. It's also highly unreasonable and I don't somehow like Krishna reacting like that. He's too much of a feminist for that)
4) That Pratigya was abducted for a night but she was unharmed (should be upset but less so - feeling of relief and anger against Angad)
5) That Pratigya hid this information from him (Grounds for feeling betrayed that that is compensated for her repeatedly trying to tell him - he can't be so mad when he refused to listen)
6) If Krishna realises that Pratigya thought HE had kidnapped her and married him in spite of this. A scenario where Krishna asks Pratigya how come she married him and she tells him it was with hate/revenge etc and Krishna is devastated that she never loved him and that he misunderstood her motives for marrying him - where does this leave their marriage, and thinks that it is in one way equivalent to her marrying Angad because after all she thought Krishna = Angad etc (THis, IMO would justify some of the gun nautaki. He would be justified in being so upset because the knowledge threatens Kriya directly and can be rectified by Pratigya reassuring him that she does want to be with him irrespective of her motives in the beginning)
Do you think the creatives are going to satisfy us with exactly WHY Krishna is so upset as to pull out a gun, threaten Pratigya and then put it against his own forehead? Right now it doesn't seem so justified. Or do you think the creatives are artificially building up somehting to have a dhamaka on 29 July when all Star Plus serials have some kind of showdown? đ
[NOTE: Friends, I'm strictly a middle of the road fan enjoying this drama for what it is and for the sake of Kriyađł. I like and admire BOTH Krishna and Pratigya - so bashers of both characters, I'm requesting that you don't hijack this with strong biases or bash the creatives for their protrayals]
