Star beats Zee and Colors in the rating race

Looks like viewers have warmed up to Star Plus' new avtar and is in sync with the channel's 'Rishta Wahi, Soch Nayi' tagline. Post the revamp the channel has managed as much as 443 GRPs in its kitty. The channel has 61% more points that its closest competitor Colors. Colors recorded 276 GRPs followed by Zee with 231 points.

The Star Parivaar Awards telecast on June 14 recorded a total of 7.2 TRPs, the highest ever. While the prime time Bidaai recorded 5.78 TRPs, Pratigya came a close second with 5.5 and Yeh Rishta at 4.26. Ekta Kapoor's newly launched Tere Liye managed a good opening with 4 but then slipped down to 3.96.
