Sam2u:

this farce has gone on long enough. this marriage needs to end now. krishna deserves to be happy. And I guess so does pratigya.

this is not the question of breaking the marriage. what the professor is worried is about how badly krishna will take it if he comes to know about pratigya's kidnapping knowing how roughly he treats pratigya when angry. he might end up hurting her physically and mentally in the process. the professor mentioned this in one of the episode himself. and honestly do u think that a person like krishna will easily give her up? even if she tries to end this marriage and moves on in life krishna will never let her live in peace. he might get more obsessed with her and never let her near any other man or hate her even more and destroy her altogether or he will never break this marriage and treat her just like his brother and father treat their wives for the rest of his life. u see the creatives have conjured up krishna's character in such a way that he is shown to have have a powerful influence on pratigya negative or positive so pratigya character cannot break free from him or forget him that easily as he is the one who changed her life forever be it for better or worst.😊 and since pratigya has been shown to be the strong character she might/might not break this marriage but the real challenge will lie in pratigya trying to accept krishna in her life.

i like both the characters krishna and pratigya as their character sketch is quite different from the usual ones. one cannot blame them for what they are doing because they are what they are due to their upbringing.

Pratigya is stuck in such a strangle hold by this obsessive lover and his family including their maid who are always planning to hurt her both physically and mentally leaving no way out for her but to accept her fate and bear repeated insults and physical abuses. Krishna being responsible entirely for shattering her life bears all the responsibility to undo the harms done to Pratigya. He has to not only change but understand that showing intense love for her but ignoring her feelings altogether will never win her love. In the end the physickey of these thakusr mentality needed to change from considering women as Paaun Ki Juti to a respectable member of their family. Until this happens Krishna doesn't deserve Pratigya.

well i guess that's what the story is all about.
pratigya's struggle to reform the thakur family. komal and krishna will get a makeover ofcourse - we will get to see a more matured and respnsible side of them. krishna will discover true unconditional love. but the rest of the thakurs are tough nuts to crack. they will turn from evil to good ofcourse - another ten years from now probably in the last epi when the serial comes to an end😆

And as for humiliating him he tried to blackmail her family by saying he had raped her, that is enough for anyone to react and yesterday she didn't humiliate him she was talking to him quite calmly until he started saying nonsense about her sister. and even in their first encounter she avoided him until he physically abused her and when she slapped him only when she realized no one would help her since they were all just standing their watching everything take place. just my POV

i think the slap was well deserved. it was a natural reaction from pratigya's side. now if she had not slapped him people would say she is being a coward - where is the strong character that she portrayed till now? and not taking help from krishna that was expected. it is up to her to rise up to angad's challenge given that she is the protagonist. taking help from krishna would be against her character. besides she is not on good terms with the thakur family. using their name for protection would not be justifiable either. and remember when last time krishna came to help arushi without pratigya's knowledge - he beat up angad and got injured in the process. pratigya was at the receiving end from her sasuma. she ridiculed both pratigya and aarushi and krishna had justed looked on. so question of taking help from krishna and inlaws will never arise. this her fight alone and she has to face the problems that come with it no matter who the source of the problem is - angad, krish, ammaji, komaliya, shakti, ss etc etc etc. is serial ki heroine ko dost kam dushman jyaada hai!! she has miles to go before she 😆😃😉

The theme constantly in this show has been educated vs uneducated , cultured against uncultured .
The Thakurs r uneducated and crude and have no problems whacking people , so we r not so surprised to see them slapping.
But What is indeed surprising is educated people r going around slapping people as if it is their birthright . Gundas , members of their own families , people who rile them . Anyone they slap. And then in the same breath they preach at dinner tables that violence is not the answer to everything .
My point is.......At least The Bad Thakurs r upfront that they DO BELIEVE in violence . But Saxenas say something and do something .
Also , I have noticed that Pratigya has this habit of slapping men and then talking about their aukaat . For instance she told Krishna at Golgappa stand Tum Mere Layak Nahi Ho . Now she told Angad Tum Isi Ke Layak Ho . This word LAYAK she uses freely to denote contempt and emasculate a man .
My question is.........Does she realise that this is a very dangerous way of talking to men ? It is like searching for their most sensitive point and purposefully stepping on it . It is practically inviting getting beaten up by a man or raped by a man .
I do wish they stop showing such dreadfully unwise dialogues in these serials that may put young girls in danger if they copy Pratigya.

you know Kools I was watching some old epis of this show this weekend and I realized that this show is like watching wimbledon match of two top seeded players - Krishna and Pratigya. Pearl grey is the umpire

So year I of this show is like Set 1.. and so far we have had 4 games -unfortunately while one of the pleyers ends each game with an advantage there is never a clear winner.

So Game One was stalking - krishna kept hitting foul balls and so Pearl Grey gave the advantage at the end of the game to Pratigya (our sympathy - believe me she had my total sympathy when her engagement to Nitin broke and she was kidnapped and her poor dad had to wash off the signs of the wall and the police case happened, etc)

Moving on to Game Two - Wedding- having made the ill-fated decision to marry Pratigya went on what I could best describe as a fool's mission for which she was extremely ill-prepared and in my opinion she was hitting the foul balls here and so Pearl Grey gave the advantage at the end of the game to krishna (a lot of people who previously were turned off by the stalking and the obssessive love started feeling a thaw towards Krishna because of his repeated efforts to win her over in his own goofy rustic caveman way and his constant protection, accomodation and defense of his wife)

Moving on to Game Three - Pregnancy Farce - in my mind 110% Krishna's fault. he was a fool, fool, fool. even though I can understand his reasons very well. he kept hitting foul balls with the constant lies about the pregnancy, his tricks to support it and his close-mindedness to the larger consequences and so here in my mind Pearl Grey gave the advantage at the end of the game to Pratigya (even though I wholeheartedly disagreed with the way she ultimately addressed the issue at the pooja , I felt bad for her in this round because she made repeated and very very logical efforts to get Krishna to come out with the truth before things went too far and I agreed with all her reasons for telling the truth)

Game Four - Seperation and Angad threat - in my mind Krishna has realized that Pratigya was correct in telling him to not drag out the pregnancy lie and he realizes he made a mistake by not listening to her and so he has made several several efforts to apologize and win her back and get a fresh clean start. In this case I think Pratigya has been hitting foul balls throughout and Pearl Grey has given the advantage to Krishna (inspite of the sneaky things he did related to the pregnancy farce again he has managed to gain our sympathy for his honest efforts at reconciliation and also for his wife's irrational stubborness in relation to the same reconciliation and fresh start and of course the fact that she has agreed to go against her idealistic nature and hide the truth or issue from her husband)

So two more games left before end of Set 1 (i.e. Pratigya anniversary)

Next Game - Friendship track - I guess based on the above trend Krishna is going to be hitting some kind of foul balls and Pearl is going to give the advantage to Pratigya.

BTW, wimbledon aside I think Arushi and Angad are the two main villians in this show

everytime Pratigya subconsciously starts letting bygones be bygones and tries to move on Arushi uses emotional blackmail to reel her right back in and everytime Krishna tempers his macho attitude and tries to win Pratigya, Angad comes with some evil twist and we are back to square one.

Wow, Pearl Grey must be a storm chaser or something - she always has a storm brewing in this teacup😆😆😆

Sorry I was having a restless Sunday afternoon
