I just posted in shruthi's thread ...and still am buzzzing ... I am reposting it her ...would love your reaction ...may not be coherent,since I was seething ...so bear with my jumping thoughts 😊

I too felt happy when I saw her dealing with him calmly,I too was rooting for her until the slap...Now Shruthi, tell me what did the slap achieve ,has Angad become petrified and is running scared, is he planning to leave ....I don't think so,I would say it has strengthened his resolve to hurt pratigya at any cost and now the cost seems to be Aarushi ...Is the slap worth enough Aarushi's life ...merely slapping will not solve every day problems..she has not learned her her lesson ... there is a saying "once bitten twice shy"...,which is entirely inapplicable in her case ...Pratigya has learned the fact that Angad is the cause of her misery..,hasn't her educated brain worked out the why and wherefore's of it ?..she still is a slap happy and this time she has brought Aarushi in the line of fire..

And before you say, was she supposed to take this meekly..Then let me say , No...one should not succumb to blackmailer's..she could have let him known that if he continues this cheapo things ,then he will be answerable to the Thakur's whose daughter in law ,she still is ...just the mention of Thakur's would be enough for likes of low life like Angad !!..but this solo act will only lead to more trouble

I would have been impressed if she had handled it in this way

a) call his bluff - which she did so kudos there

b) not tell him about the divide between me and my husband rather remind him that she is Krishnasingh's wife and SS DIL and leave the threat implied.

c) when he mentioned arushi's rape - do not slap him as this is very very bad deja vu. remind him again that the mere thought of this is lifeending move for HIM as Arushi is Krishna Singh's SIL.

Krishna is her ONLY ace. She should have used it strongly.

The threat of action is always more effective than the act itself because a threat implies impending doom. When the action itself is performed, the immediate effect neutralizes to a signifant degree the impact of the action.


If I had to assign a colour code (like the US government does during terrorism threats) I would assign a red to Angad's and a yellow to Pratigyas' (as hers does not involve krishna). teh colours would be reversed if her threat was based on krishna.

Krishna has the resources and strength to back up Pratigya's threat. Angad does not have the resources but he has endless amount of time, a malicious conniving mind and resonable resources (his chaylas) to back up his threat.

Pratigya is leaving her maayka today, has no physcial strength to match Angad's, no transportation, no money to hire thugs, no cell phone if Arushi needs to call her when she is being chased by Angad and his goons doiwn alleyways. Pratigya will not be around to protect Arushi even for a reasonable period of time. Maybe she plans on executing her threat using remote voodoo. I would like to know how she plans on enforcing a threat.

Out of immense fear, Arushi has left without warning IN THE NIGHT ONCE ALREADY. what stops her from doing it again. pratigya? Are we to assume she too is going to be doing road inspectori every night? IF she is don't u think Krishna will get suspicious. he already is and it took repeated denials from at least 5 people including tumhari patni from getting him to temper his suspicion.

Arushi encountered Angad and his goons on her maiden evening voyage what goes to say she wont' again? maybe she will seek the doctor's help? OK so if Nitin who seems to be physically stronger than the doc was so brutually beaten what luck does the poor doc stand?

Adarsh may be all bluster but little action so I have no expectation of protection there.

My only hope is that Pratigya borrows Shakti's vilayati katta and gives it to Arushi for her protection. Without Krishna, the katta is Arushi's only hope and Pratigya's only prayer. nothing else will work for Arushi in Illahabad where the government and the police force are corrupt and the community is too timid to defend the girls against goons and daily evils

If she had acted strategically and used her ace to deal with Angad I would have considered her a Sherni but today I have to say I can only see two shernis in the entire show

Komal and Guruma.

Komal because she has her own strength, a logical mind, her father's resources to support any threats she issues and like any truly stong person she does not issue threats unless she knows that she can deliver

Guruma does not have physical strength but she has a strategic mind and loyalty of powerful men. In my mind, she is the MOST FEARSOME PERSON in this entire show. even more fearsome than SS.

If this show were looked at like a game of chess, then based on their individual personalities and strengths, Guruma would be Queen, SS King, Krishna, Komal and SS would be knights, Amma the bishop and entire Saxenas would be pawns. Oh and Tunna and Chandu would be rooks.

Totally agree with your post BTW.

I understand that her trust in krishna is recent even though in the past she has unconciously trusted him when she felt she had no place else to turn i.e. Kesar situation. her first thought was I should tell Krish only he can help me and she even tried but he was so upset about her defence of Angad that he did not want to listen to her even though eventually he did protect both her and Kesar from Shakti.

However, even if she does not want to actually use krishna for protection, what is the harm in using her ace in front of Angad. Angad does not need to know that she will not use the ace when the time comes. For the threat to work all he needs to see is the Ace in her hands, hai na?

Whether she chooses to use it or not is her decision.

I will be frank. I do not like Arushi. I don't think she deserves krishna's protection after how she has repeatedly hurt him verbally. I still do not believe that ANY WOMAN SHOULD BE RAPED.

If Pratigya really wants to help protect her sister she should not have taken on a snake liek Angad single handedly and her entire family seemed so proud at her actions? I guess that is becasue they think she will use Krishna.

Shyamji and Adarsh both go to work for a significant number of hours each day, Komal is at her maayka and the women - dadi, nainaji and arushi are alone and un protected in that time.

tunna and chandu are currently protecting Pratigya at the adda so who will protect poor Arushi?

I am seriously seriouslya fraid for this gal.

If Krishna could enter through the roof in the middle of the night and try to kidnap Pratigya what is the guarantee that Angad will not get the same inspiration?

i hope she tells krishna everything......but i have a feeling that she wont ... when krish finds out that his loving wife had kept him in the dark about this....he will feel betrayed...and then at the end only krish will be blamed for how he reacts to all this...so if prats understands krish even a little bit she will tell him

I have to disagrre with one thing. I don't think she still trusts Krishna. At the time when she wanted to save Kesar's baby she didn't trust him, Infact that is when I have acctually seen her using her grey matter quite logically. She had assessed the dynamics of the house and knew that Krishna is da loved one in dat house. He can get away with murder in that house. Infact she says that to Kesar that 'is ghar ke ladke kuch bhi karein unki sab galtiyan maaf hain'

As tanthya said 'once bitten twice a shy'. Even a child who has burnt his hand once will never go near fire. If his toy falls in the fire he seeks help from ppl he knows will be able to deal with it. so what has this girl learnt she slapped him the first time and ended up marrying against her will. so when next time when she is confronting him why not seek help who can deal with it.

She has the tendency to take the bull by its horn. She never thinks the consequences of her actions.

She is giving a totally wrong msg to the young girls who will think slapping is da best way to shut someone who talks filth in front of you. See I believe women are physically a weaker gender but emotionally and mentally much stronger then men, so why not use your assets rather than your weakness. I saw a brave woman when she confronted him and challenegd him abt the pics. For me bravery is using your assets to win a battle.
