pratigya returned back to her room slowly,careful nt to wake anyone up.. she entered her room and closed the door... then she glanced at aarushi whu was fast asleep... sighing.. she went to the dressing table near her bed and stood in frnt of it... she looked at herself in the mirror and touched her face with her fingers..,her cheeks were warm.. she had nvr felt lik this before..... she touched her lips... closing her eyes she cud still feel his lips on nhers... embracing herself,she tried to be steady.. to become normal agen bt her feelings seemed to reach beyond all bounds and limits...
"di........? " aarushi's voice snapped her back into the present.... she turned back and saw her,sitting upright on the bed,looking at her in a strange manner.... she tried to smile----tum soyi nhi aabtak?
aarushi did nt reply.. instead she got down frm the bed and came towards her in slow steps.. her face looked different and serious....
pratigya----kya hua aarushi?kuch kehna hain tumhe?
aarushi stood in frnt of her and sighed,she seemed to feel lil uncomfortable.....

pratigya struggled back her tears and said----aarushi.. jo tumhe nhi pata..uske bare mein tumhe koi baat bhi nhi karni chahiye....dukh hota hain......bht dukh hota hain...
aarushi----di.. aap us ajnabbi ke liye mujhe...
pratigya turned her face at her-----bas aarushi... keh diya na....? tum is bare men humse koi baat naa karo to hi behtar hoga.. hume pata hain hum kya kar rahe hain aur kyun kar rahe hain.....
aarushi got up,somewat disppointed-----di....ye thk nhi hain... hum...hume.. mummy ko batana hoga is bare mein.....
pratigya----soch lo... zaroorat padi to hum uske saath ye ghar bhi chodkar chale jayenge.....
aarushi was shocked.....
pratigya said agen----dekho aarushi... hum jante hain ki tum humse bht pyaar karti ho.. aur ye chahti ho ki hum khush rahe... to ek baat aaj hum tumse keh dete hain... imran ke bina hum khush rehna to dur... saans bhi nhi le sakte aab.....
with that she walked towards her bed,pulled a sheet over herself...and closed her eyes.....
aarushi stood there for sometime then she also retired to her bed.....thinking.....

naina ji turned to pratigya----hmm? kya keh rahi thi tum?
'wen pratigya spoke agen,her voice had changed totally----hum ye keh rahe the ki mummy... kal college se hum kuch dosto ke saath bahar jaa rahe hain ghumne ke liye.. isiliye thoda late ho jayega...
naina ji smiled---thk hain beta.. par apne papa ko bhi bata dena iske bare mein thk hain?

she was abt to leave, wen suddenly aarushi spoke----aap... kal kahan jaa rahi hain?
pratigya turned back and looked at her staright in the eyes----usse tumhe kya matlab?
aarushi fumbled for words----aahh... woh..hum...woh...
pratigya pointed a finger towards her and said in a stern voice----tum....apne kaam se kaam rakho samjhi?
tears welled up in aarushi's eyes at her sister's extreamely unusual behavior... evn naina ji was surprised at the way pratigya spoke to her beloved sister..... she said to her----pratigya? ye tum aarushi se kis tarah baat kar rahi ho haan? ye koi tarika hain baat karne ka?
aarushi quickly wiped away her tears and ran out,without uttering another word..... pratigya shrugged her shoulders and walked out too...leaving naina ji alone with her own struggling thots.....

outside,imran was abt to start his bike with a kick wen suddenly pratigya called him frm behind----hey...ruko ruko ruko....
she almost stumbled down the stairs to reach him.....
then she smiled widely at him bt he did nt smile back..... he was still lil disturbed by the last night's incident....

pratigya-----tum kahan jaa rahe ho?
imran----kyu?
pratigya----nhiii woh...kya tumhume hamari college tak drop kar sakte ho?
imran took a moment to thnk,then nodded slowly-----thk hain.. baitho.....
grinning,she climbed up behind him on the bike and put her arms around his waist,making him feel quite uncomfortable.....
he started the bike with a kick and then drove away.......
neither of them noticed that aarushi was standing by the window and watching them carefully...... as they left,she drew in the window curtains...and moved away.......
