Since her mellowing, Komal has started to show her gutsy side. She is the only one who speaks her mind yet asks very candid and intelligent questions inspite of being illitereate. Did she even go to school at all? Nainaji has so far agreed with her questions. Like sasuma like bahu when it comes to how they view marriage?
Komal seems to have more common sense in her little finger than the rest of them. Her questions and statements recently has been what we as viewers have been wanting to ask the character to their faces.
She was bold to say to SS who was already in a foul mood, neither my husband hit me nor did my sasural throw me out of my house, so I have no reason to stay at my maike. She didn't say it in front of her sasural and embarass her family either.
She asked Prats why she chose to create all that notanki to reveal the truth about the fake pregnancy. As usual Prats wasn't ready to take responsibility for the way she handled it so she pulled her victim card and played it.
She told Arushi why was she celebrating her sister's return when what Prats did was not right and not a good thing, given the circumstances of her return to her maike.
Previews show her telling Krishna he can't have it his way anymore and that SS should return to take his bahu home with respect. She even admits that Krishna loves her very much but he has been going about it the wrong way when it comes to expressing it to Prats. We also see her telling her sasural to teach their daughter how to behave with her husband and make a marriage work.
