Wow, what do I say'I actually liked shaamji today, now that's a miracle lol
The first scene between Komal and SS was lovely to see. SS is a very complicated character and he very rarely shows outbound happiness and when he does it is because of Krishna and Komal'it is evident to everyone how dear they are to him. To be honest, I felt bad for him during the whole havan fiasco, granted Krishna was in the right but his son's defiance broke him and I've been longing to see him smile to his hearts content and because of Komal he did!!!'thank u Komal. Komal's childlike behaviour with her dad is very endearing, its nice to see how her dad fulfils her small needs and just like her father, her happiness is infectious and you automatically smile and share their happiness'call me a sap, but I'm a daddy's girl and I love the bond between SS and Komal.
Kesar and her probing- it was nice to see kesar take the lead in the conversation between the women'I really feel bad for her. She really believes in the essence of the suhaag raat, her own suhaag raat was such a farce and she is desperately hoping for Komal to tell her that her suhaag raat was special but alas her dreams have been shattered yet again. Ammaji's face was worth a watch during the scene'she taunted Pratigya for not consummating her marriage only to get slapped in the face when she found out her daughter was untouched'.that's what you call karma, what goes around comes around. She really needs to think twice when taunting Pratigya, it only backfires on her and her own daughter ends up sharing the same fate lol
The more Ammaji talks the more I hate her, that woman never says anything sensible. I used to feel sorry for her for having a husband like SS, now I end up feeling sorry for him. Which loving mother suggests having her children's marriages broken? SS is right, a marriage isn't child's play, and you can't give up at the first hurdle. Would she prefer her daughter to live at home all her life, or worse get married to a thakur and share the same fate as her'the woman makes me cringe. I'm glad SS got as angry as he did, it seems like that's they only way she understands anything. I actually pity this woman, this woman thinks marriage is all about having a physical relationship with your spouse, marriage doesn't seem to go beyond that for her and that's a shame. So what if kriya and Adarsh/komal haven't consummated their marriage, they have got their whole lives ahead of them to get to know one another and form a deep rooted kind of love, isn't that better than just having a physical relationship? She needs to wake up and realise that her marriage with SS isn't a real marriage, it's a dictatorship and if there is a chance for her children to have a better marriage than she shouldn't appose it. I was clapping with joy when SS stated with finality that komal was to go to her in-laws!!!
Watching this stand of his made me happy for another reason, yesterday SS put Krishna down but his outburst today showed that he agrees with Krishna whole heartedly'he knows komal's place is with her husband and more importantly, deep down he knows Krishna loves his wife and he would never want to hurt Krishna what ever the reason may be.
Talking of Krishna, although there was very little of him shown today, he really stood out. His eagerness to get Pratigya from her house was very sweet to watch'he really can't bear to be away from her for too long can he lol
Now coming to the best part of the episode, Shaamji!!!!! He has always been shown as a meek character, someone who can easily be walked over and I've always felt sorry for him but today he stood up to SS and I'm very proud of him. Every word he uttered was true and SS desperately needed a wakeup call, whether he acts on it is one thing but what needed to be said has been said and I want SS to reflect on each and every word. SS has everything apart from education'money, a lavish house and lifestyle is great but it can easily be lost whereas education is invaluable, when all is lost at least you have your education to fall back on but unfortunately SS and his family don't have that and this is worrying. SS feels he owns everyone, but being nice to you in your face and disrespecting you behind your back are two different things. I can imagine people talking ill of SS and his family because to be honest they haven't done anything which will make people talk of them with respect. Shaamji looked genuinely concerned about what was being said about SS and his family, he might not necessarily like SS but they are related and what father wants his daughter's family to be spoken ill of?
Shaamji's encouragement and the way he broached the subject of education was executed well'there is no age for education and there is no shame in learning how to read and write beyond your teens. The examples he gave were realistic, it is important to read the information on a railway ticket and it IS important to be able to read the signs in a hospital. SS and his family are at an advantage, they have an educated daughter in-law who can support them and help them progress in life so why not take the plunge and give education a chance?
I felt bad about the way shaamji handed SS the money for books, but I feel it was important for SS to step into shaamji's shoes and experience the embarrassment shaamji did when he gave Shaamji money for Komal's comforts. Let's hope SS thinks twice before taunting him with money because when it comes to money and education, education wins hands down in my opinion so I don't understand why SS always looks down on Shaam Ji.
So three cheers for shaam ji, he really made an impressive stand and we have Pratigya to thank for that, she gave him the encouragement he needed and I really admire her for that.
While this was going on I couldn't help notice the glances Pratigya was throwing at Krishna. She claims she hates him but he is the first one she looks to at the first sign of trouble lol. Although there wasn't a kriya scene, it was nice to see them in the same frame :D
On a more serious note, I really think the article about the honeymoon is rubbish, they have just touched on the importance of education and I feel the next few weeks will be on SS and family getting an education. If the creative's are planning this track then Kudos to them.👏
