Folks,

For some time now, looking at the increasing frequency of tel maalishes in our (still) favourite serial, I have been speculating in my posts that Dabur Amla Hair Oil might soon start sponsoring Jodha Akbar.

Lo and behold, what do I see last night? Dabur Amla Hair Oil IS sponsoring Jodha Akbar now! It is in fact the chief sponsor!! Howzzat for a prediction??

Now we can expect many more tel maalishes, of not just Jalal by all his begums, ad seriatim, but of Jodha by Moti, of Ruqaiya by Hoshiyaar, and perhaps even of Hamida Banu by Gulbadan Begum. That is called subliminal in-house advertising!!😉

Meanwhile, for those young ladies seriously frustrated by the onscreen goings on and threatened by a migraine, I am offering a personal tel maalish with my compliments. I might not have jaadu in my hands like Jodha Begum, but I will do my best. It will at least help you all cope with what is to come today and onwards till the week ends!😉

Hahahaha very nice post about tel maalish, even I was wondering about so any head massages that all Jallu's begums are offering. Thank god, my husband doesn't watch JA

Adiana, you must be telepathic! That is exactly what I thought of, but I left the reference out as I felt that very few of the youngsters here would know of that delightful song.

Johnny Walker was inimitable. Remember his jangal mein mor naacha kisine na dekha in Madhumati?
