Nice Article and so true.

No matter how any try to down play Jodha Akbar Success, this show is without a doubt the best Historical or according to the senior writer of BV a Historical Fiction on television. It connect with both the young and old.

The Acting is brilliant, the lead pair carried their Role with conviction,

Rajat carry himself as a true emperor, the voice modulation depending on his moods awsome, Paridhi posture is that of a true royal, their acting is spot on.

This show just works, if Ekta get the romance going in this show i have a strong feeling it will take over the Number one spot soon.

P.S.@Maddy, dear pls calm down, the serial depiction is OTT...Real Akbar would never have done such a thing with a "Bandi". He was quite class conscious.If really he had to give attention to a non-Royal begum, he first would have elevated her to the post of Royal Begum/Bibi , and then proceeded further, If at all.😆

I now realise the importance of emoticons in conveying emotion😆. I did not realise my post would come across as upset!!! (was writing from tablet & I hate the autocorrect so did not get chance to put emoticons)

About that Bandi comment - I felt it was demeaning towards Jalal character in the serial. Surely real Akbar would not have done something like this publicly - no matter what he did in private!😉

Akbar really had no NEED to give Jodha all the important posts that Abhay has mentioned in his thread-1.

Surely after marriage with Jodha he already had Rajvanishs support for life.
Akbar could have given the honors to any of his 30 odd wives if he so wanted.

He CHOSE to give them to Jodha only EMPHASISES his love and respect for her

Jodha really had no choice or even voice in the matter, for argument's sake say she did not get along with Akbar, he would have sidelined her from his life.

That Akbar did not do that, further strengthens that they shared a deep bond. Akbar was an astutue man, surely he would have known if Jodha had REAL feelings for him or not.

Jodha and Akbar's final resting place, the curious thing that she chose to have a burial even being Hindu, all point to the deep bond they shared.
