TRPs increased because of the story, good direction and marvellous acting by all. It's always the team effort that speaks up itself when the outcome is laudable.

And now gals read this to know how TRP are calculated...

There is a lot of misinformation regarding TRPs .Though Channels are absolutely controlled by them the methods for evaluating them are dodgy .As in other fields eg for poll predictions only sample studies are undertaken. So TRPs are never an efficient barometer of a serial's popularity but just an indicator.. An appliance is installed at selected cable operators or service providers ..this is an absolutely random selection and there is no fixed criterion for selecting these providers.Then these appliances record readings that meter which serial is being watched . These are measured over the week and results evaluated .
As you can see the system is inefficient and provides many loop holes that give massive opportunity for manipulations.
Also viewing on YouTube /DailyMotion etc does not contribute to TRPs. That works in the Channels favor esp when they are telecasting serials that border on the ridiculous. most of us are discounted ..either we will not be in the network that is included for evaluation or we are watching on laptop etc.
This discounts a large section of the urban population who do not watch saas bahu soaps.It is the audience who watch this category that largely contribute to TRPS. Therefore in the case of QH presently our leaving will not effect the TRPs much . Qh has gained from BB closure as well as "auntie type viewers " as the kids say as they will be keen to see the story move fast. but will not last forever... And we all know story is the king... But our question is what they were doing for the last 5 months ... So this is pre- planned ... Just asking... 😲

yes the story is important but actors are equally important in making or breaking a show.if only the story is imp.then any actor can play any role and PH need not hunt for a particular person.

let me give you an example to illusterate the importance of a particular character playing a particular part.

Karan johar once said that his film KANK failed bcoz he took rani instead of Kajol.that does'nt mean that Rani can't act.the role was written keeping kajol in mind.even in films there are many good actors and actresses but not everybody can play any character.

Likewise here in QH the story is good but the lead pair (Kabhi) played the role very well and we like it.Any serial is a combination of story and the actors.both are needed hence nobody is king

And the installation of appliance is not totally random.

An algorithm is used. Also the markers for all shows are the same.

What I mean is that it is equally flawed for all the soaps.

So basically ratings all over the world are from sample audience only.

TRPs were always calculated this way...the calculation method has not changed in the last..say month.
