Rubbing his palms on his tired eyes and on his face, he, once again, visited the past few days, or to be specific, his interactions with khushi, only to stop at day when he fed her with his own hands. Nothing was wrong then. Sure, she was very distant from him even then, but at least she gave him a chance and had not resigned from the job, which he know, she would've surely placed on her resignation letter on his desk on the next day of the diwali party. She even allowed him to feed her, lighting a hope in his heart that he had not lost her completely, that now also he has his chance to mend her trust on him he broke by forcefully kissing her. He could handle her maintaining her distance from him, could hear SIR from her instead of arnavji, could handle the invisible wall she created between them by considering him as his Boss only, but this behavior of hers...he could not handle it. Her indifference was killing him. Time and again he tried to talk to her, asked her many times if she was having any problem for her to behave like this. But she every time reminded him, that he is her employer and how he should not talk to her about her personal life. Initially he thought that she will be fine in few days, that there was not a big problem.

How wrong he was!

Every new day, she was distancing herself from more than the previous day. She would not look him in the eye. She would leave the cabin as soon as her work was finished. She would monosyllabic answer his every damn question. If he touched her accidently, then she would recoil as if his touch disgusts her. If he passes by her, she would move a great distance away from him, not wanting to touch him accidently.

He is going mad by constantly thinking what wrong he had done to her to deserve this kind of behavior from her. He had thought again and again and again, in office, between his conferences and meetings, at the dining table, all night staring at the sealing of his room with wide eyes, but could not find any single damn thing which would tell him the reason for this.

What the f**k has happened to her??!

A tired sigh escaped his lips; he rested his head on his chair closing sleep deprived eyes. A new day and anytime khushi will enter his cabin, carrying an invisible wall around her, with his morning coffee, just the way he liked, perfectly paying the role his secretary. Proving herself a good employee to her employee, totally oblivious of the effect of her indifference on him. He could not go like this everyday. He feel, he could not breathe whenever she refused to look in his eyes.

His eyes snapped opened as the brutal realization that he may lose her slowly shook his soul. NO! He took a deep breath. He could not let this happen; he will not allow her to build the wall of steel between them. This f**king game of hiding has to stop today only. This time she will not leave this cabin until she tells him what really the f**king problem is?

A knock on his door brought him out of his thoughts. He sat straight on his chair, already aware of the person standing on the other side of the door. Clearing his throat, he gave the permission to enter.

"Good Morning Sir! Here's your coffee." She placed the mug on his desk, her eyes lowered, staring at the floor, her face totally expressionless.

He gritted his teeth in an attempt to stop himself to lash out on her now or to just grab her and shook her till she open her mouth and speak the cause of this behavior.

"Ms. Gupta! Stop!" He stopped her just as she turned to leave the cabin just like she has been doing from so many days. He saw her stiffen immediately and he knew why, it was because he stopped her, it was because he had addressed her by sir name for the first time and he knows it for sure.

Khushi turned around only to find him standing in front of at a respectable distance and not on his chair as she has expected. Involuntary she took as step back which didn't go unnoticed be him as he narrowed his at her. "Stop backing away from me khushi!" His voice was firm.

"I am an employee sir. There should be a proper distance between us." Her eyes were still looking on his shoulder and he didn't miss that she was not only talking about the distance between they both stood at but also the distance he is trying to erase between them emotionally.

"What is the problem khushi?" His fist clenched to rein himself from hauling her to him. What has gotten into her?

"As said before sir, there is not any problem and you shouldn't ask this to your employee."

He lost his cool at that. Gripping her forearms he pulled her closed and ignoring the way her eyes widened. "For the last time khush! What is the problem? Why are you behaving the way you are from the past 10 days? "

She dropped his eyes again looking at his collar. "Look at me!" he demanded. She refused and kept looking at his collar. "I said LOOK at me dammit!" His loud voice shook her and she looked at his eyes in fear.

He bored his eyes on her. "Now tell me! Speak Up!"

" I've already told you sir. I am just an employe--"

"Shut up!" He snapped. "Not employee-employer thing again! The real reason khushi."

"There is no other reason. I am your employee--"

"Enough! You are my employee huh? You are hell bent on keeping this- Boss worker relationship intact no? But guess what? I don't think about you like an employee only khushi." He pulled her more closer. "You are much more than that to me. You know why? Because, I don't do this with my employee." He lips touched her cheek, and he pressed a soft kiss there before moving his lips on the other cheek to drop a lingering kiss there. "Nor do I do this." He pressed her to himself, hugging her tight, his head settled on the cook of his neck.

This was completely new. Khushi thought she disgusts his touch, but this is not what she felt when he kissed her. It was not intimate. Not at all, she can very well feel that. He was making her feel what she means to him. But that doesn't mean she reciprocate his feeling! After that, not at all!

She got out of his embrace. "You are misbehaving Mr. Raizada." She spoke very rudely.

He looked at her hurt, but composed himself quickly. He should not expect for her to feel for him. The kiss has already shocked her and now this. But there is some other thing that had happened her to behave like this. And he will know that. He could not make her fall in love with him if she continues to stay from him like this.

"Just tell me what had happened and you can go from here."

"There is nothing and I think I should leave from here." She turned to leave but he swirled her around.

"I am warning you khushi. Speak up!"

At last, all the frustration of so many days came out of her. "This..." she pointed at his grip on her hand. "is the problem. Your behavior with me is the problem. Because of your behavior people think that I am having an affair with you. That I am trying to trap you, trap a rich boy for money being a middle class girl. That I am trying to snatch you from your girlfriend. Now you know the reason!" she shouted.

He stood rooted at the spot. As soon as she spoke about his so called girlfriend, his whole body raged with suppressed fury. How the bloody hell lavanya could say such cheap thing about khushi? He will not leave her. She has crossed all the boundaries now. Its time to show her her place.

Khushi snatched her hand away and marched out of the room. Arnav doesn't stop her. He knew she need some time alone. God knows from how many days she has been listening to all this shit and he had been totally unaware about it.

Lanvanya kashyap will curse the day she met ASR, arnav will make sure of it.
